I am SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO far behind on updates, but I"m trying to clean my room a bit, so I figure now is a good time. lol Liou - Such a pretty card, and I LOVE your handwriting. SO pretty and nice! Thundy - Nice winter scene! We have a new Ferris Wheel in my city that I can see from my office, so it made me smile. Celestial - Oh my goodness! What a beautiful angel you drew for me! Pretty sure you drew Gabriel for me, and I love it! And the moon on the back of the envelope, too! pixie - Awww. It's a puppy! I want to hug him/her! Thank you for the nice note, also. Thorn - A very warm card... Appropriate, I supposed, since it was like... 70 degrees F (21.1 C) on Christmas day, which is definitely warm for us. We're usually around the freezing mark. And thank you for the very nice note. Huntress and Fraze - I love cards in other languages. Thanks for the translation help, too. Interesting observations: I'm pretty sure I got my last domestic US card and my first overseas card the same day, and they were the only ones that came that day. That was kind of fun. I've noticed that it seems that square cards are the most common in a lot of other countries. Meanwhile, here in the US, the rectangle is the standard. You actually have to pay extra for square envelopes, and so card companies have started making rectangular envelopes for square cards. Just an interesting observation I had, and a tidbit, for those who may not know the US standard. I THINK I'm caught up now (So sorry if I missed you!) and I think I'm waiting on one more.

Huntress Fraze I forgot to say earlier, but I got your card earlier this week! (maybe last week?) It's indeed a good angle of the building, although I trust that all sides are good ones ;3 Thank you for the card!

A very belated card from Birdy has finally made it's way here! Such cute stickers! I was almost loathe to open it in case I ended up damaging them (which I did. Sorry, little reindeer, you lost a horn). The card itself also made me smile. No, I do not want to think about how the puppy got there... Even though it's late, it did make me happy to receive it. It provides a bit of lingering Christmas cheer in the dark month of January.

Three new cards to report on. Thanks guys! <3 Twillie: ahhh the floofy hair on the one based on Zazz's mini! I love it, it's shampoo-worthy. And Astrophelle looks so full of DETERMINATION- thanks Twillie! I actually (finally) start her game next Sunday. I think I know the pun you wanted to make, and I hope you have a Nat 20 as well! xP (also in response to your message about the card I sent you: am glad your sister appreciated the name of my street! I never thought it was anything special so am surprised but happy. xD) Pixie: this card is so lovely! Oh my gosh is that your dog??!?? Very cute, thanks for the seasonal wishes! And so many nice compliments. ;-; I really do appreciate it, thanks so much! Allison: so cute, and so much glitter! All the best things. Thanks for the lovely card, I did indeed have a lovely cheerful Christmas season. =)

Goshdarnit I've put off reporting on our arrived cards for way too long >>; They seem to be pretty slow on the whole this year; either the timing of the holidays right in the middle of a week messed things up this year or some eldrich god is chewing on the global postal system. Probably the latter. BUT we do have a bunch of cards already: Thundy - this card showed up nice and punctual right before Christmas, actually, and that rendition of the London Eye is gorgeous ^^ Thorn - yours got here really fast, actually. Around the same time as Thundy's, I believe (stamp on the envelope says 22nd December. I collect stamps but haven't gotten around to extracting this year's loot yet, so the envelope pile is still around >>) Color me thoroughly impressed by the New Zealand postal system both ways. And you really went above and beyond with that card (stickers! so many lovely wishes! aaa awesome sandman! thank you!) Liou - got your card right after the holidays and oh wow, festive blarf is best blarf =D And the puffy stickers are awesome. ...and how is your handwriting this nice, I swear, it's like art in its own right. Thank you so much :3 Birdy - your card gave me massive feels, somehow :3 Thank you for the lovely messages! (The NTWF kitty sticker game is also really strong this year, it seems x3) Allison - I'm 100% down with Peanuts cards, particularly glittery ones. Thank you ^^

Yours was the first one I actually sat down to write, so it was the trial version, if you will. Then later I'm like "Yeah, maybe I don't need to put all of that...

Through the recent course of my laptop frying itself (leaving me with a crashy netbook), an exciting but exhausting family vacation, and then taking care of family member who just had surgery, I have received 4 more wonderful cards! Yes, that's my beloved pug, Evie! She's almost 13. I broke out my graphic design skills to make custom-printed NTWF holiday cards. My family doesn't have a Christmas card tradition, but we do traditionally give each other cards with dogs on them, so I ran with it! Upon request, I have given her squishy face extra kisses for everyone. Twillie, I loved the flowers and glitter! It was quite a lovely holiday card. Thank you so much for your kind wishes. Everytime I open it up, I am filled with warm feelings of hope for the future. I hope your future is just as bright! Celestial, there were many instances of gleeful bouncing around the house when your card arrived. Perhaps more than a little happy screaming. I was so happy when it arrived, and I felt plain joyous when I opened it up and saw the tranquil card, and the art inside. When I realized it was hand-drawn directly on the card (requiring amazing artistic precision) I was incredulous. I was gleefully surprised to see Ilaria and that brought back such good, strong memories. It was marvelous-- your interpretation of her design is gorgeous and colored so well. The message you wrote was just pure coziness. When I saw on the back about the organization the card is from, it was even more perfect. <3 Huntress and Fraze, I really like this card; the shimmery winter scene is just lovely! The card is just magical to look at, and I love the glitter. The handwriting is also very elegant. Thank you so much for this card exchange! Thorn, I was super happy to get your card! The festive sandperson was very charming, and your sticker game was on point (adorable animals and space aliens much appreciated). I really liked the sweet message you wrote, and even the cute stamp! I'm glad my card made it to you alright in turn. Hope you enjoy your warm weather and that we can have more great conversations soon! Throughout Life happening, this card exchange really put a smile on my face. I love you all!

This is overdue again - big shock >> - but as of some number of days ago, we do in fact have all of our cards now =D Ginz ❤ - nope, it actually got here much sooner than Valentine's Day xD And holy heck in a handbasket, I hadn't seen one of those 3D cards since maybe around the early 2000s? Whyyy did they go out of vogue, they're awesome! Well, I gave it to Traveler, obviously. He squinted at it a bunch, then scratched at the snowglobe and then demanded that I get it for him, because he insisted that it was a toy, not a picture. He still comes across it occasionally on my desk and goes scritch-scritch-scritch on it because you know how those things feel to the touch. Clearly I should get him a snowglobe. It also looks gorgeous on the inside (I'm a sucker for aesthetic-looking text and lovely handwriting). Thank you so much! Twillie - hey, turns out that the Saint Louis postal service has the absolute best outbound stamp for the holiday season, now I won't want to get rid of this envelope. I'm always happy with glitter (the ones we sent out this year tended to be glittery across the board, anyway) and the kitty game of NTWF continues to be strong this year xD Traveler continues to approve, and he also recognized the kitties as our kitties, with a bit of prodding. Thank you ^^ Pixie - showed the card to the child, as is kind of a rite of passage in this household. He went =D!, cried "Doggy!" and then hugged the card. Pass it on to Evie if you could :3 Thank you for the warm wishes, you really went all out this year! I should also post a picture of all of this year's card loot, once I snag a moment of precious daylight to take a photo that isn't a dark blur.

Huntress - Yaaay, I'm glad my cards have finally started arriving!! I heard from you and Jay today, so hopefully the rest follow suit soon! ^_^ I'm not sure I would say it arrived "much sooner" than Valentine's, cause that's only 3 week away! 😱 (How time flies!) But I'm very glad to hear you liked it and that it was also Approved™️ by Traveler, it does have a fun texture doesn't it? XD Thank you for letting me know! <3 * I also have a few belated notices of cards that arrived! ^^; I contacted a couple of you via Discord, but your lovely beautiful cards deserve a post too! Celestial - Thank you so much for your lovely card!! The wintery scene is feels so joyful and peaceful, and I love all the little details to find the longer I look at it. But also, of course, the real treat is your beautiful art!! <3 Thank you for drawing Dahlia for me, she looks lovely in your style! Thank you for the lovely message and the good wishes, they made me so happy! (And also, I love the heart you drew on the envelope, so pretty and fancy!) Allison - Thank you so much for your beautiful card! Peanuts are super cute, and I love how glittery and sparkly the card is! It just feels so friendly and cozy overall! I love both the message in the card and what you wrote for me. It surprised me a bit that you addressed me by my real name, but I liked it, it felt like a nice closeness! ^_^ May you have an amazing 2020 as well! Liou - Thank you so much for your beautiful card!! The fact that it was handmade blew me away, and you just have the most beautiful way with words!! Your handwriting is beautiful, but your lovely thoughts match that beauty perfectly! I am so grateful for the thought and love you put into this card! Also, I admit I was a bit slow to catch the reference, but I adore how it's themed for Here Comes a Thought. We can watch them go by from here. <3 Also, shoutout to Thorn whose mysteriously delayed postcard arrived and cheered me up a bunch while I was waiting for cards, and to Nimras, who did her own card swap on fb and was super kind to include me. <3 Hers was the first actual-card to arrive, but I felt like it would be out of place to post about it here on its own! XD; Still, thank you very much!!

Sorry for double posting, but I have more updates! Two more cards arrived today! Pixie - Awww, is this your puppy? They're ADORABLE! <33 It feels so special to receive a custom card designed by you, thank you so much! It's so sweet and pretty, and your lovely message put a really big smile on my face and filled my day with warm cozy feelings for sure! Thundy - Oh my goodness, this card is so breathtakingly beautiful! I love the color scheme, and the mix of big brushstrokes and tiny details. So bright and pretty and wintery! It gives me magical vibes ^_^ Thank you for your kind message, and hey, it got here before spring! Success! \o/

Card! Responses! Birdy- I love how this card folds out, and so pretty too! Thanks so much. <3 The snowman and pupper stickers are adorable and made me smile- hope you had a lovely holiday too. =D Ginz ❤- holographic card? Oh my goodness! And I love the tiny drawing of us too, it's adorable and now my short term purple hair has been immortalised forever. Thanks so much!!! <3 Your handwriting is so beautiful too, and the sentiments are lovely and ahhh. Little hearts and stars are very My Thing- and you drew Christmas lights even inside the envelope, such a cool festive touch. Thanks so much! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season too. ^_^

Ginz ❤ And I finally got your card! It is gorgeous, even though looking at that hologram too much messes with my head. The sentiments inside are also lovely. I did make a good few treats during the holidays, although I am struggling to remember most of them. The notable exception to that is eggnog: it was rich and creamy and delicious. And may you also roll Nat20s during the coming year. <3 Finally, that little purple dragon on the present is adorable. In short, a card well worth waiting for. It's going in my NTWF letter box for sure! Although all the cards from this year are now in it.

They're a character I love, and they look great in your style! I gotta say you definitely made justice to their fabulous hair! 💖 Thank you as well for the kind message and good wishes, everything about your card made my day!

Ginz ❤ Your card has arrived! Before Valentine's Day indeed! The envelope is so pretty and cute, I imagine the post people got distracted showing it around to each other!! I love the card's 3D look and the little flap that helps it stand just like a little house! (hiding my dice inside) It's all so neat and bright, a lovely finale for my card season ^^ 9/9 The Kard Kollection is Komplete! *golden glitter shower* Y'all made me look like one of the cool kids - my mum and some other people saw me with a stack of cards from this year and also some I had taken out from last year, and thought that dang, I must be popular. Excellent event, loved waiting for these and getting all the envelopes and the handwritings and petting all the cardses.
