 Autumn Witch I was really hoping that I could mostly stick with my main account neopets, but that might not work. It looks like voting is still on Neopian Heroes and Villains, so I have to keep Matt and Ron dressed as they are, because it doesn't save the customization when you submit it, it just shows whatever is on your 'pet currently. |

After I realized that the rules meant "autumn" as the most wonderful time of the year, I threw this outfit for Meka together in about 15 minutes from mostly stuff I had in my closet (everything but the lower foreground). Speed customization! Christmas is the most wonderful. Autumn is second.  Not totally sure if it fits, but the oranges and emphasis on farming/harvest sort of work. I like it. |

Edit: Animated versionThis applies to going back into the past, and *also* *maybe* into the future?? (I say that, but I would be heart-broken to lose the gorgeous grounded FL map. Especially if JS has to draw a whole new map in the sky, unless they recreate the old floating FL. That one was gorgeous too, but it would look different if redrawn by JS, I think, so also not keen on that, lol.) I've been REALLY into this. Like, hurriedly-seeking-NC-trades-and-buying-new-neopoint-wearables into this. I haven't felt *this* invested in Neo for a while (since the AC), so this is fun! xD And since I've had more time to plan and prepare my later outfits (I actually have customs planned and prepped for all the remaining themes except Famous Personalities as of this point), I'm really proud and excited to start sharing them here!

Okay so this one is for the Professions Round tomorrow:  My plan was to create an NT writer! Sadly, this custom resulted me in being a bit sad this morning. I was using Dress to Impress neo to design this, and initially I used the NT Background (which Dress to Impress stated I owned, since years ago I sync'd DTI with neo). I then log into neo and cannot find this background anywhere on my account: it's not in my closet, it's not in my gallery, it's not in my SDB. I was hacked back in 2016 and had a huge struggle getting my account back. When I got it back, I didn't think anything was taken... but now I think the NT background was stolen, along with my White Weewoo Plushie, which I also can't find. Both of those items I received while writing for NT (they were gifts for anniversary different issues--Issue 350 and 500) and I'm 99% sure I didn't sell them. They're obviously both really rare items and expensive, but it's more so the sentimental value to me. So... that was a sad realization this morning.  But I can't complain too much since it's taken me 3.5 years to notice. |

Even as an avowed fan of time travel, I actually found the theme fairly difficult. I knew I wanted to make it Lost Desert themed in some way, but... It just wasn't coming together as a strictly desert adventure. So, I changed my angle slightly. Long ago when the Lost Desert was a fertile cradle  Using Orgin 'cause he was once zapped Desert so he has the clothes.  And you gotta have that wristwatch the clock in Neopia Central is always running. And charming thievery that's really great! I personally would like to see Faerieland in the sky again, but for nostalgia more than anything, heh. |

I seriously feel like I stay up 'til 12am just so I can enter/post my new custom, omg... And noooo...We're still voting on Trick or Treat! Welp, that'll conflict with today's. Well, at least my Trick or Treat outfit got one day's worth of voting in. I didn't like it much anyway. Or maybe I can submit today's later on tonight...? Hmm... I'll post it here first though! Moomoo became my artistic pet because her first real customization had been a doodle background and that smock, so it seemed appropriate that her character now inspire an artsy custom for today. It went full circle! Also, she's gotten an upgrade since! NOTE TO SELF: You did NOT submit this custom yet, so PLEASE do not forget to do so later tonight. I also wasn't sure what to do for Time Travelers for a while (at first I was thinking Meridell because I have my Brynn/Brienne/knight custom), but since my mind seems wrapped around FL, and I had always wanted to create a custom with the Nostalgic FL wearables, this seemed to work perfectly. :3
I like your concept for the Lost Desert! Yes, a time when it wasn't just dry, arid land! (I mean, I know there are still rivers and all, but whatever.) Your Water Ogrin works really well with that. Not your typical desert scene, yet still very Lost-Desert-y! |

Okay, as a Disney fan, I would've loved to enter a Disney costume since there's an abundance of wearables that are obviously inspired by Disney movies. But nope! I saw this as a chance to finally get to share my proudest customization, the one I based off Boy Blue from the Fables comic series (anyone read it?). Fairy Tales and Fables Boy Blue from Fables (comic series)Special cover art image of Blue (the actual character) and the outfit I'm emulating: I created him right after I read a certain event in the series, and I'm just so pleased I was able to find and obtain items on Neopets that fit so perfectly! I really hope someone who's also a fan of Fables sees this and can appreciate it too. I seriously just love it! xD |

Game Face Princess Peach...maybe on a stroll to find her missing crown? Edit: Necklace doesn't show up for some reason, so outfit page. Only read the following spoiler if you can tolerate text-wall about how I made this custom. Because this is one that I built entirely from scratch expressly for the theme (and didn't have some existing elements to it that just got tweaked or added to) and that I'm pretty excited to share. I don't really play a lot of games with iconic characters or anything...(I mean, not characters unique to the game itself. The games I play tend to use brands/licensed IPs, like Disney or Neopets.) So my plan had been to skip this one. I mean, somewhere along the way, I had thought of Mario and Peach. And of course, I'd choose Peach because I always choose her. She's my go-to character in anything Mario-related whenever she's an option. But I was like...is there even a wig that exists on Neopets that looks like her very unique hairstyle?
Well, it turns out there apparently is. Because when I was looking through NC trade lists for a very different item for a different custom, after having scrapped the Peach idea, I saw THIS wig. And I instantly thought, THAT'S PEACH'S HAIR. So I guess Psellia has a similar hairstyle to Peach. I never knew. And then an intense enthusiasm to create this custom was born, because that's how it is for me: once the most defining feature of a character has been found to exist as a Neopets wearable, that's like an instant greenlight to turn that character into a Neopet.
I'm pretty proud of this custom, even though her lack of a crown makes me feel it's incomplete and inaccurate. But I sure as heck wasn't about to trade in this wig for one that came with a crown, because this wig was what convinced me that this custom was even possible. I'm quite excited about that necklace though. I couldn't find a brooch that looks like hers (I didn't expect to find one), so I felt a necklace would work best...and there was actually one that looked like it and fell in the right place on her dress! Score! I'm not sure about the earrings, but they were the only ones with blue spheres, and if I couldn't give her her crown, I sure as heck wasn't about to deprive her of her earrings too.
I already had that umbrella - I was almost about to trade it off too, so this was great! It was perfect! I'd always thought it was pretty, but I didn't have a use for it, so it was on my TL. But now I have an excuse to keep it! ('Cause it's now locked on a side account...) And I added the 8-bit mushroom as a little nod to her origins and to just try to add a bit more to beef up the custom.
The background was an easy choice once I looked up pictures of Peach's Castle. The moment I saw pictures of it, I was like, THAT'S MERIDELL. And I knew exactly what background to use. This one. It's one of my favorites that I don't get to use a lot, but I think it's so pretty! ^^
And voila! Peach was born! And I kept asking my sister if she could tell who it was, and she said yes, and I was like, "Really?" And she said yeah and I just got so excited that she could tell without my hinting, lol. xD Holy crap, I just realized after I submitted her, but I'm entering a pet named peaches as Princess Peach! XD
