I am absolutely fine for an extra week. xD I have just come back from a holiday which has been physically and mentally exhausting so I have not had the energy or time to write my submission.

So you know the page in a book where the copyright info goes? And credits, and the like? Is this zine going to have one of those? Because the font I used for the title is free to use, but asks that you credit it, and that would be a nice place to put something like that. It would also be a nice place to credit all the users whose characters I used in my comic.

They do, however, have an index of the contributing artists/writers, with their social media handles or any links they wanted to provide. Maybe we can do credits joined to that? It's only about 9 of us who are working on something for this, so I can give everyone their own space for bios, credits, self-promo, special thank yous, etc... anything each person wants. How does that sound? I made a little doodle just to exemplify, haha.

So for when you get back, what format would you like these art submissions in? pdf? tif? png?
PDF would probably be easier for me because I have eleven pages to submit.

Sure, PDF works ^^ I'll PM you to tell you my e-mail, cause that'll probably be easier than trying to send it through the forum or Discord.

Hey guys! Remember this? Well... SURPRISE!!
I finally sat down and put it together! Here it is for your enjoyment, The NTWF Zine, Vol. 1: www.dropbox.com/s/vnf7aknbnxfromf/NTWF%20zine.pdf?dl=0With lovely written and art contributions from Thorn, June Scarlet, Celestial, and Killix! It's the perfect way to pass the time and uplift your spirits if you're stuck at home (or at any time, really!) Major special thanks to June Scarlet who kept reminding me and giving me friendly nudges to actually get this done! (Also, please let me know if there's any issues with the link. You should be able to view it and also download it of you want, I think? But I don't use dropbox often, so let me know if it's not working as intended and I can try to fix it. Thank you!)

Just finished reading the Zine, it was so much fun! Ginz ❤ The cover and layout is so good! I like the pattern you found, the font choices you made, the DnD dice you used for the DnD stories, just so many nice little details. I like the way you laid out the content and contributors page. Slick and modern, but also a classic feel. Sorry if that's vague, graphic design is so hard for me to describe. But it's good. Thorn Such a lovely story! Gives a nice feel for the roleplay without giving too much away. I like how you have a callout to each of the party, it's very thoughtful and well-balanced. I like the way you set the scene, just enough to get the conversation going without letting the reader feel lost, it's nicely done. And it's always fun to get another point of view on the events of the story! Celestial Some exciting backstory here! Get to see Meallan's life before he left, what it was like in his little village. And then you get to meet his spellbook supplier, and then there's a lovely landscape of a peaceful and beautiful forest, and then when I thought this was already a chock-full story, we got to see his first meeting with a very important character indeed! And I can't get over how detailed and beautiful that forest is. Killix Ah, this is so much fun! I start to look for the items, but I get distracted by all the amazing details each and every time! Some highlights include the plot hole, and the battle between Err Bear and Harry the Grarrl. There are so many characters and stories built into this one image, it's really impressive.

And so I come, super late to the party! Musings ( Thorn) – That was a fun, quiet moment between the Lords of Ur! It was interesting to hear their thoughts on the party, the consequences of the Spider Demon fight, and a hint at the relations between Ur and Cai! <3 The Mystery of the Meowing Wall ( June Scarlet) – Aah, that was a fun read! I liked how each of the characters aspects came through and played out, and how they came across as kids. =D The shenanigans that ensued were also fun! (That screaming moment made me laugh aloud. xDD Not that I blame them!) The mystery also came to a satisfying conclusion, and wrapped up some side things and a character thing. Well done! =D Meetings ( Celestial) – I think I read this in your other thread, but you posted in that after. I looked through it anyway, and it was still an interesting read! You have a lot of great imagery described there, and in the picture you drew; it was nice to see it in fuller scale! It gives me a good mental picture of what it was like around Meallan. ^^ Before, well, y’know. The comments on the people and interactions I think I already gave you, so I’m not speaking so much on those, but it was interesting to see the interactions and how Meallan goes about his various relations! It informs a lot to how Meallan interacts with other people, depending on his relations and experiences with them. ^^ Scavenger Hunt ( Killix) – Ooh, a fun scavenger hunt picture! You’ve certainly put a lot of detail into it! =D I certainly can’t point out every thing (and I don’t want to give too much away!), but I can state a few things that caught my eye! -That is one cool looking rainbow-esque bird! -Is that a shadow dragon (you?) driving a box car? xDD -Nice touch with the weather effect on the Err Bear! -Liar’s Game Toaster! Both versions!! =D (Apologies, I don’t remember their name.) I’m afraid I didn’t find all the items, but I may come back to it! Still, a very fun picture. =D And Ginz ❤, thank you so much for putting this together! This is a very pretty and well-made Zine, nicely formatted, and I absolutely love the cover art. You did a good job on it! =D They were all nice reads/looks, and not that long to get through! I’m sorry I didn’t give it much attention before, but allow me to amend that now! Good job, all!

Ahhh I definitely need to do a proper read n review myself...didn't really respond last time! =(
It has become almost physically painful for me to read my own contribution (am looking at it now for the first time since the 'zine was published!), so am glad you liked it. <3 ...and as a result of only reading it now, I'm only now noticing that the ending was cut off. Was that deliberate? I don't think I had anything inappropriate in there...

When the zine was released I posted my "hurray" and then eagerly read the zine. June posted her thoughts the next day and I thought "Cool, I'll do that too!" but then promptly became distracted by life and the whole thing just evaporated out of my mind... until the zine was mentioned on the Discussions & Debates thread. X'D -- So I went and gave the zine another read through to refresh my memory. Here's my very late thoughts! Musings - by ThornI'm unfortunately not familiar with the source material here, but it was a fun little snippet of character musings (woo title drop!) to read regardless. Sounds like some really interesting noodle incidents happened in this world? XD It's a shame the ending was cut off! (by accident, I'm imagining) I do remember thinking that it ended oddly abruptly when I first read it. ^^; The Wrighton Investigators - by June ScarletThis is a very cute comic with Wrighton kids shenanigans. My favourite part is the hand-going-through-wall accident and the ensuing "AAAAAaaaaaa" XD The Reton would be the best clubhouse. The ending leaves me wanting to see more of this adorable Wrighton kids AU! Meetings - by CelestialLike I mentioned above, I'm not familiar with the D&D at all, but I was taken in by the lovely imagery of the fantasy world, and found it quite easy to follow despite not knowing the world or characters. Also, dat artwork. :O Lovely details and lighting and textures! A great visual aid to the story. This was quite an ambitious pair of submissions - and it paid off very well indeed! Scavenger Hunt by - oh wait. I notice that there's some odd quality loss on this. Was that on me? Oops. Let me know if it needs replaced and I can resend the art. o_o; - Ginz ❤ - Thank you for putting this all together! It turned out great and I had much fun participating. :D --- GelquieYes, that is me (shadow dragon form) riding in my cardboard box mobile racing kart! XD I shoved that in there as a joke and I'm glad that somebody noticed it. Heehee.
The toaster creatures are called Toasty! 8D
