Hello guys, I have a (probably stupid) question regarding old posts. I am looking for a specific old post of mine. I know I can check my activity from my profile but when I click on a thread there it takes me to page 1 instead of scrolling to my posts. I have tried searching my name on the top right hand corner search box but it gives me no results. Is there a way to see old posts like in the very old proboards versions?

The 67 pages of old posts in your profile show exactly your latest 1000 posts, whenever they were. In your case, it looks like it goes back to mid-2011, so what you're looking for may be there, but it can still be like looking for a needle in a haystack. If you use the search function in the forum ( ntwriters.proboards.com/search ) there's a few useful search options that can help you. First, in the "Who to search..." section, click to write your name on the "By at least one of the members" field. Then it'll only search for your posts. "When to search..." is particularly useful for finding really old posts. If you remember roughly when you made the post, you can either enter a range of dates, or at least specify before which date you think it was, if you're sure it wasn't, say, in the past couple of years. "What" and "Where" help too, of course, but I'd advice being vague and keeping it to keywords. I've made the mistake of being too specific with my searches because I think I remember what my posts said, and not get any results. Only to find out later that my wording was off. XD;; Anyway, good luck! I hope you find what you're looking for!
