Alrighty, so I'mma try this again and perhaps actually get the hang of NaNo! \o/ I'll be focusing on my Blossoms comics for the month, specifically its current arc-in-progress, Games Night. And while it's not 100% writing related, it's still something I want to make good progress on, plus there'll be some script writing thrown in there too ;3 My goals will just be more outcome-orientated, rather than concerned with word count.
Goals:
I promised myself that I'd do this only if I figured out a rough schedule before things started, that way I can keep myself accountable. So, I went ahead and laid out the month in terms of weeks and days, and what I should get accomplished for each of those to meet my goals.
The last half of the month is still kind of vague in terms of specific tasks, just because I don't know exactly what the script writing may need by that point, especially since I'm working on it now as well. And of course, any of this is subject to change!
Scheduling:
Hard Deadlines-
Warm-up + Week 1: Have all comics lined
Week 2: Have all comics colored. Arc 1’s plot is completely outlined.
Week 3: Any final preps and clean up of comics. Arc 1 is divided into parts. Arc 2 begins plot outline.
Week 4: Arc 1 is polished. Arc 2 gets more outlining and is divided into parts.
Soft Deadlines-
Warm-up+Week 1: Most comics are lined.
Week 2: All comics are lined and mostly colored. Next arc’s outline is continued.
Week 3: All comics are colored. Next arc’s outline is finished.
Week 4: Any final preps and clean up of comics. Next arc is divided into parts.
