? ? ? Does anyone have any idea what this question is referring to?? Cars and street signs? Getting in the way of day to day moving around the site? I really have no idea what they're talking about, I am so lost. Also, cars don't even go in Neopia, so it doesn't even make sense on that level. That's just referring to the recaptchas on user and pet lookups. ^^ I admit, the wording of the question was rather weird and I had to think about it for a minute. |

I do also think this is worth mentioning. There's a mini Scrappy. It's pretty cool that she's getting an apprentice. I hope this doesn't mean Scrappy won't be running the NT in a few months. I like her. (Scrappy mentioned this to me earlier today, before the NT came out. I didn't want to say anything at first, but it's in the NT now, so I don't see why not.) |

So, why was the NT late? Was she waiting for Faerie Festival image? That doesn't look like it would have taken long to make.
Anyway some notable Editorial questions:
Well that's gonna make people upset. I remember seeing a neat little script for your Inventory that added little icons under each item of your Shop, Gallery, SDB, & Closet and placed the item in there when you clicked on it without needing to pull up the item window.
Sad those will be gone, though here's a little crazy idea: TJSNT, why don't YOU implement those scripts. The coding is done for you, just make it an option in the Site Preferences.
Wait, was Scrappy really the ONLY person handling site content? Sweet Fyora, JS, Scrappy doesn't need an apprentice, she needs a TEAM. At least a squad. By now Scrappy's blood must be replaced by coffee.

I may or may not have sent a small message to Scrappy welcoming Jade and hoping she has a nice time working for Neopets.
I figured it would be nice to properly welcome her, which I didn't do yet.
(I was asking Scraps questions, anyway, so I figured I should do that, too.)

Okay, so some updates. First a few days ago I got a neomail back from Scrappy. It didn't really say much but here what she wrote me: So my articles images got fixed and everyone (Scrappy, her new assistant, and us) are looking forward to meeting each other. New Editorial is out and a few notable things in it. I posted the plot relevant stuff in the Faerie Festival thread, but there's still other stuff here: So... is this the end of the Annual Gormball Championship? Now for a few years the article hadn't been updated and it was explained this was due to a glitch preventing TNT from editing Neopedia articles. Of course, JS just made a new Neopedia article so has the glitch just been fixed of does it just mean they can't edit? Of course, it also sounds like, aside from making a few items for it, JS isn't interested in writing the Annual Gormball Championship scenarios. Don't know why, but looks like it may be up to any users still interested in that small bit of lore to try and keep it alive (and I already have an idea for an article for next year...). That said, though there were a few Gormball articles this week, the Gormball article I sent didn't get published. Now being next week is issue 800 I can imagine it's pretty hectic for Scrappy and her new assistant. Probably just didn't get to my article in time (though would be neat if it got published for issue 800, not my intent but I ain't complaining!) though I hope this also means it's not going to let lost in limbo (if it did I'll try again around the Altador Cup as the article has much to do with the Altador Cup as it does with Gormball). Now, I can't really blame JS for not knowing about the Coming Soon page, though then again considering how useful a Coming Soon page is to keep people updated on things (if they remember to update it, something TNT had a problem with) you'd wonder why they didn't think of doing one (and check to see if there was one, it's not like it's hidden, it's the second option for the News drop down menu). Now for some Announcements: Incase you're wondering what she's talking about, apparently a "Backup Board" is where a user with rare items will offer the items to anyone doing Jhudora's or Illusen's quests. There seems to be two types: (1.) The boardmaker first asks to be compensated for the item and (2.) the boardmaker will just give the item to a user who says they need it and expect to be paid back. You can probably see the problem with both. So sounds like they're going to ban the practice. Nothing major for the majority, just something I thought needed explaining. Hello Jade! Now that we know her name I'm personally going to send back a neomail thanking Scrappy for fixing the images, saying hello to Jade, and maybe also asking about my Gormball article. Also a quick list of things confirmed to be coming:1. Haunted Hijinks 2. Shenanigifts 3. Kaia items 4. Baby Wearables (though being Halloween is coming what about Mutant? Also Maraqua probably need some too) 5. Game Master's Challenge |

I sent in an neomail thanking Scrappy for fixing my article images and that the NTWF says a big hello to Jade (and we eagerly wait to see those subtle changes she promised). I got a response:
