For Neocreation week, I decided to do a retro neopets themed trophy: It came out a bit simple but at least it got done in time!

Entry #2, Jellyworld seems to have hit its expiration date: I really only had a couple hours today so rather than draw something simpler and get it polished within the time limit, I left it rough and went in for little details like the pocky trees and the stagnant pond being implied runoff from the ice-cream foothills. It's disgusting and possibly the silliest thing I've ever drawn and I'm kinda in love with it tbh.

Made my mom a birthday present yesterday: The cat is sculpey firm + distressed acrylic paint. The base is a wooden plaque from hobby lobby stained with coffee + an acrylic wash to give it some depth. Then I just glued it together. I think it's a little crooked, but it's cute and it was surprisingly fast and cheap to make.

PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG So this is my late Christmas gift for my sister and her family. Since they adopted a couple of actual pigs a few years ago, they've kinda become her family mascot, so I made 'em a pig stack. xD They're also portraits, kinda. From the bottom: Brother-in-law, sister, nephew, niece, baby grandniece. I swapped out the sculpted wineglasses for dollhouse miniatures that look a little better IMO, and tried to give each pig different features and a slightly different tint to their paint job. I'm NOT used to painting figurines like at all so I feel like the paint jobs are a little shabby but the overall piece came out pretty cute I think.

These are amazing, I love how each pig has so much character and personality and the expressions are so charming! The wineglasses are perfect and the baby pig is adorable, I'm amazed how much care and effort went into this--what an incredibly thoughtful and personalized gift! Also, happy Year of the Pig
