Mina was quite relieved. "No, no chocolate. Just plants. Can I get you two anything?" She bustled past the flower-covered table toward the kitchen. "Oh, that man. Sometimes I wonder which of those two is more obsessed." She returned a few moments later with a glass of water and a little bowl, the latter of which she set on the floor before handing Cade the glass. She smiled. "Thank you, I'm nearly ready! And of course we can carpool. I'll need to take everything over in the next day or so, so the day of the fair I should have plenty of room." Her hands fluttered to adjust a begonia that was drooping off the table, but she kept her kind smile turned toward Cade. "I should have all these done by tomorrow. Are you excited for the fair?" Mina chats with Cade ( Kyn) and happily agrees to the carpool. That's really it!

"Edward Fox. At least I think it is. I honestly don't remember." He shrugs to himself and taps his walking stick a few more times. "I just assume it's my name. My clothes tend to have it written on the inside at least." He opens his jacket a to reveal the words inscribed on the inside, then buttons up again. "I didn't start out here. Oh no, I was once on a great journey of sorts. What the purpose was is long lost to me. But I was in a faraway land, and something drew me here. And here is where I stay. Except the park. I don't trust those scheming trees." Fox turns his head to stare at thin air, not really looking at anything important. "Will Mr. Fox ever find out his past? What was this journey he was on? Will the trees take over the town? And how about those wombats? Tune in next week to find out!" He freezes in place for a few moments before turning back to Beatrice. "So what brings you here?" Edward Fox introduces himself to Beatrice ( June Scarlet). He talks about not remembering his past, starting outside the town but was drawn to it. He then speaks to... Something?

Didn't have time to more than read the synopsis of most entries, so if this is conflicting, let me know! Mak Moreno walked through the streets of Wrighton. He was a bit distracted, a bit bored. A lot ready to find the pub. Not to drink, at least not yet. He had a show to do first... that evening, precisely. But he'd been late to one show too many, and resolved now to find his performance venues at least a few hours before. And heck, the town of Wrighton itself had been hard enough to find. Mak was a comedian -- not a well known comedian, and not necessarily even a good one. Whether you found his jokes funny depended on how close your sense of humor was to Mak's. Mak dabbled sometimes into magic... well, slight of hand, but still. It was magic to the ignorant. Mak was also a boring name. So, wherever possible, he went by his stage name, Professor Snatch. "Because I snatch up the laughs," he would say with a giggle as he pushed his round horn-rimmed glasses further up the bridge of his knobby nose. "Ah, here's the place," Mak said in his characteristically low, gravelly, boyish, and enthusiastic voice, to no one in particular. The pub was closed. "Opening tonight at 6," the sign on the door read. Mak crinkled his face. Well, that settled that. "Hey," the comedian commented with a bit of fury as he read the sign under the sign and smoothed back the wisp of . "May not open at all tonight -- depends on the business of the Spring Festival at the market." Why, this surely wouldn't do! He had to have his stage! Jokes didn't just tell themselves! But... a Spring Festival did sound kind of neat. Perhaps he would go see what was with this hullaballo. *** He walked through the streets, following the music and the atmosphere of revelry. "Oh my," Mak gaped as he realized the extent of the shops and depth of the markets. They hadn't anything like this back in Foolsworth. And -- over there! Oh, a stage! He could check out the festival a little later. For now, it was time to rehearse. Stepping on the wooden planks, Professor Snatch announced with a wide grin, "You know how werewolves change into wolves at the full moon?" He pointed to his tan-colored skin. "Because I stay a human, does that make me a werehuman?" He chuckled at himself. Yeah, he would have the crowd eating out of his hand for sure. Mak Moreno (AKA Professor Snatch) is an unfunny comedian who came up to Wrighton to do a show at the pub that evening, but is now lured into the spring festival. He finds an outdoor stage (possibly the one icon was talking about) to rehearse. NOTE: I likely will not be able to respond to much interaction before the prologue ends. Icon, feel free to kick Mak off the stage if you want.

Harper watched the fair rides assembled with the fascination of an artist watching a painting, or a sculptor watching the forming of a clay figure. There were tarped fences around each ride’s destination, of course, and trucks scattered about that further blocked the view, but Harper had learned years ago where to stand so they could see anyway. It was more distant, so the details weren’t as clear, but they could imagine some of the more intricate parts of the machines. It wasn’t as if there was much in the way of gears and wires visible, anyway; just big pieces set carefully into place - massive physics machines made of huge steel rods and slender wheels and boldly-colored plates and plastic pieces. There was only so long Harper could stand around for before their feet started to tire and their legs grew restless for movement, however. There were no new rides this year, either, unless more were coming over the next few days, so Harper reluctantly withdrew from their observations. They had an errand to run, anyway. The spot for their tent and stand hadn’t been taken, which was already a direct improvement over two years ago; they’d lost two days of selling time getting the proof that they’d registered for the spot and getting the person who had taken it to move - and of course, they had been passive-aggressive about the whole thing and taken an entire afternoon to close shop. Harper’s mother had been close to upending their tables and ripping down the tent herself. They laughed about it now, but that the time, Harper had been genuinely worried their mother was going to get herself arrested. Just to be safe, though, Harper set up a twine perimeter around the plot. They and their mother would be setting the tent up tomorrow, more likely, but the barrier should protect the spot from anyone with dastardly, spot-stealing schemes. This was why most people set up early - but no, the dumb television had to be stubborn. ...Maybe they ought to get back to the shop and give their mother a hand. The television was probably above Harper’s skill-level, but at the very least they could start packing up some of what they wanted to sell for the festival. None of their friends from school seemed to be out and about, anyway - so better to get work done while there were only adults around, so that it wouldn’t be in the way if Harper had the chance to socialize later. Tucking their fists in their pockets - briefly pulling out their Pixcom device to check on their little beastie - Harper started idly for home. Making a tech-based teenager character...maaaaybe wasn’t the best idea with all these adults in a more fantasy-ish supernatural town but here we are. Don’t wanna drag anyone into an interaction with less than 24 hours to go, so, calling it for this round, it’ll just be Harper-intro. Uhm. Not much happens in this post - Harper watches some rides, marks off the tent area and implies they and their mom will be setting it up tomorrow or maybe the day after, and then starts heading home.

Anise smiled at the girl. "I'll tell you what, if you come over to my stall at the festival I'll let you try some for yourself, and you can tell me what you think. How's that sound?" Her selection of baked goods was going to be limited at the festival, but she made a mental note to include some banana bread in that spread. As she spoke, they were greeted by a large man in a long coat who Anise knew by sight, though she couldn't for the life of her think of his name. He wasn't one of her regulars, and she was terrible at remembering the names of acquaintances. At least he'd introduced his companion by name - and if she was new in town, Anise didn't have to worry that she'd met her and forgotten about it. "Good to see you," she said, "and it's a pleasure to meet you, Dion. I hope you're enjoying yourself. I'm going to be selling some things from my cafe at my booth, if you're interested. Do you drink coffee?" She addressed both of them, fairly certain that the man hadn't been in her cafe before, but as there were less specialized venues in town that sold coffee, that didn't necessarily mean anything. Anise offers to give Esther ( Shinko) some banana bread to try on the day of the festival, and greets Fionn ( Celestial) and Dion ( Thorn). She can't remember Fionn's name, though she knows him by sight.

Cade accepted his glass of water with the proper expressions of gratitude, and the equally well-mannered Peaches yipped in appreciation when Mina set down the bowl. "Thank you, ma'am, there's nothing else we need." After taking a sip, the boy added, in a conspiratorial tone, "I'm hatching a secret plot to spirit away our two highly esteemed doctors to a 5-star tropical island resort. For their own good, of course. Please keep my secret plottings secret; I don't want to be grounded." When asked whether he was excited for the fair, Cade replied with a straight face, "Excited? Ma'am, the only thing keeping me from dancing a jig across the house is a desire not to upset your lovely flower arrangements. That, and I don't want to confuse Peaches. She'd probably think I was trying to teach her a new trick." The Labrador, upon hearing her name, glanced up from her bowl, but returned to it after seeing that her handler was not addressing her directly. After emptying his glass, Cade reached forward with his free hand until he touched the side of the counter that he knew was nearby. After delicately probing the surface with the back of his gloved hand to confirm that it was a vacant spot, he laid his glass down and pressed both palms to the counter. This close, the perfume in the air was heady and intoxicating. Cade wanted to be useful, to offer his assistance to Mina's preparations, if there was anything he could assist with. "I'd better be getting back now, or else Mrs B might be the one fretting," he said sunnily. "Thank you for your hospitality, Mrs K, and give my regards to the Doc. Peaches, ven. Vamonos." * After composing his text message, Cade tapped the approximate location of where he knew the 'Send' button to be. His screen reader read out the button's text value, confirming that he had tapped correctly; he double-tapped the screen to finalize the delivery of his message. The evening quiet was broken by the unmistakable rumbling of a car's engine pulling into the driveway, followed by the screech of the garage doors rolling up. Cade stowed his phone away and stood up, gently removing Peaches' head from his lap in the process. Familiar footsteps crunched up the gravel path, and the doorknob squealed as it twisted. Cade's smile radiated warmth and gladness. "Welcome home, Dad." The youth extended his arms outwards in an inviting gesture, and moments later felt his father reciprocate with a weary but heartfelt hug. "It's good to be home, son. How was your day?" Dr Nathaniel Glenn had placed his hand on his son's shoulder and let it remain there as he steered/walked his son to the dinner table, even though Cade was perfectly capable of making the route by himself. Cade didn't mind too much, however. "I went over to the Khouris' today, and Mrs Khouri said okay to carpooling to the spring fair. You should have smelled those bouquets, Dad, if I didn't know better I would have thought I was in a garden rather than indoors! And before you tell me about your day, please remember to leave out any bloody details, which in your case is more literal than most kids would normally have to worry about..." Cade thanks Mina ( ♥ Azzie) for offering drinks, jokes around for a bit, wishes to help her but eventually decides to leave. He texts Holly ( Shinko), inquiring about her booth preparations right before his father returns home from work. Cue touching father-son bonding moment.

Liz was headed out the cathedral doors for the last time, purse in tow and freeing her hair from its holder, when she felt a small buzz come from her bag. Continuing to walk, she pulled out her phone and saw the text message alert. Ro already selling her stuff before the festival event starts? Liz snickered, admiring her business zeal. Even more excuse to head to the park, then. As she shook her freed hair loose, though, Liz took a look at herself and wearily sighed, remembering the pit stop she had to make. Brown was not the color she would have chosen for her work uniform, let alone something worn in public. She would have to drop by her house to change first, plus grab a few more things before heading to the festival. Liz brought up her phone once more as she strode to her bike, and, hopping on, quickly typed to Ro: --- The ride between the cathedral and her house was maybe just ten or fifteen minutes, but when she actually had somewhere to be, it felt like ages. She pedalled faster than usual, although the increased road and pedestrian traffic thanks to the fair didn’t help get her home sooner. Thankfully, the sidewalks soon started to clear as the buildings thinned and the trees grew in numbers. Businesses disappeared as houses dotted the way, and the cathedral spires shrank from imposing skyscrapers to two pricks on the horizon. Liz saw her house rise from the hill, and soon slowed and parked her bike in its drive. Her purse rustled as she rummaged through it, pulling out a bundle of keys that loudly jangled against each other while she searched for the right one. She turned it through the front door handle, and on the other side was greeted with silence. Sunlight shone through the windows to dimly light the foyer, but there was no life there to break the stillness. Liz was glad, at least, that with her parents gone on vacation, they wouldn’t pester her when she was in a rush. Dropping her keychain back into her purse, Liz didn’t stop when she entered the house, instead heading straight for the stairs. Her attic room was just as she left it that morning: the bed covers left unmade in her early morning rush to get to work, hairbrush and makeup still sitting at the small vanity on the opposite side of the room, her closer door slightly ajar to show poorly aimed sleepwear sitting near the hamper. A large rug covered the hardwood floors of the small room, matching in color to the deep blues and purples of a candle display resting in the corner, small trinkets lying or hanging on and around it. Stringed lights ran up the wall perimeters to the ceiling, where they hung from thick wooden rafters slanting downwards with the room. The only light in the room, though, came from a single window sitting above her bed and overviewing the woods to the north, as well as offering anyone a seat to endlessly gaze. Liz headed straight for her closet, pulling off her work shirt as she went. Not a moment later, she was changed into a black sleeveless shirt with matching tights and a long, purple skirt, pulling on up to her knees her laced platform boots. A chain swung around her neck as she tied her shoes, and she unconsciously held to it as she stood up. Attached at the end of the chain was a tiny green key, painted this way by her so it wouldn’t blend with any floors or cracks it may fall into. At all times, it either rested around her neck or by her bedside, kept from her normal keychain so that Liz was always reassured that it was nearby. As she played with the key, her eyes wandered to the tiny, locked box sitting at her vanity. Taking a seat at the vanity, Liz put on a little more makeup and began to wonder. Her key, the box… Her eyes occasionally wandered to the window at her left. Tonight, should she? Now with some heavier eyeliner and dark lipstick, Liz got up and walked towards her window. She sat at the window seat’s edge, taking just a moment to gaze out at the trees beyond, their leaves slowly thickening the further they went. She fingered the key around her neck once more. No, not tonight. With the fair, there was no telling how many people would stay up late, and where they might be. Liz headed back down the stairs after that, ready to join these people at the fair. --- Quickly parking her bike, Liz took no time in looking for her friend among the crowd of people and stalls. Thankfully for her, it didn’t take long thanks to the familiar yapping of an overly excited Yodel. Hush, I’m coming…“Ro!” Liz called, waving to her friend. “Ro, you got--!” She cut herself off when she saw Ro wasn’t alone. A young girl was at the stand, presumably asking about the wares or something. Not wanting to interrupt a business exchange, Liz instead slunk behind the customer and to the opposite side of the stand where a rabbit was snuffling around. She scratched by her ear to catch her attention, whispering as she sniffed her hand, “Hello, little miss.” She also gave Ro another little wave, glad she finally made it. Liz gets Ro's ( Mostly Harmless (flufflepuff) ) text, but has to go home and change out of her uniform before they can meet at the fair. Liz lives out near the woods, and after she dresses, looks out at the forest while contemplating something about the key she keeps around her neck. Whatever it is, though, she decides not to go through with, and instead heads out to the park. There, Liz finds Ro, as well as her young customer ( Gelquie ), so she says hi to LePouf instead so as to not interrupt anything.

Holly smile warmly as Esther gave an excited clap. "Mama, can we try the 'nana bread? Please?" "You have to help Nana with her stall," Holly pointed out. "But if you're very good, I bet when your Uncle Jon comes to say hi he'll take you to get some banana bread." The little girl beamed. "I'll be real good, Mama, I-" Their conversation was cut off as a new voice called out to them. Holly stiffened slightly as she recognized it immediately- Fionn Colby, town slacker and frequent source of headaches as she was called to argue with him about if he was playing his saxophone in a 'public venue' or not, get on his case for panhandling, and on one memorable occasion two years prior she'd wrote him a ticket for drunk and disorderly conduct. Needless to say, Fionn was not Holly's favorite person, and in spite of his usuale good cheer the curtness of his greeting nod to her advertised the feeling was mutual. Still, Holly was hardly going to make a scene by calling him on this, especially in front of Esther. The woman smiled neutrally in response to his greeting, and gave his new friend a polite wave with her free hand. "Holly O'Rourke- a pleasure to meet you Miss Dion." Esther pressed herself against her mother shyly, a bit overwhelmed by the sudden presence of so many people. Fortunately she was spared the need to socialize when her mother's cell phone emitted a noise that would have seemed innocuous to most people, but the exceptionally nerdy might have recognized as the chest-opening theme from the 8-bit game, "The Legend of Zillah." Excusing herself, Holly backed away slightly to check the message, and smiled a little as she saw it was from Caden Glenn. She quickled tapped up a reply- And you get a reply! And you, and you! Holly tells Esther that Jonquil (Holly's yet unintroduced brother) will take her to get the banana bread from Anise ( Elcie) if she's good, isn't terribly happy to see Fionn ( Celestial), and politely introduces herself to Dion ( Thorn). Then she gets a text message from Caden ( Kyn) and responds to it. Her text alert, if you're curious, lol youtu.be/3w-aqAtWAGA?t=26s

"The stage is just past the old gazebo- I think they wanted to makes sure it was strategically accessible to festival-goers both here in the park and those trawling the market."Ari tipped her head at Rosemary with a swift nod. "That makes sense. I think I heard that's where they put the stage for their outdoor production three or four summers ago." Her watch buzzed. Ari glanced down at her wrist and frowned "Oh, shoot, looks like there's a delivery nearby. I should probably go run that parcel," she said with a wave as she started to back up. "But tell you what, Mrs. O'Rourke, I'll have to stop by your booth once the fair opens proper!" She looked back over her shoulder, rolling off—a few small sparks bouncing behind her. "Take care, ma'am!" • • • "You know how werewolves change into wolves at the full moon? Because I stay a human, does that make me a werehuman?""Um, sir? You—you can't be on the stage right now." A voice from above. Two stagehands on a ladder hauling speakers next to Mak looked down at him. "We're still setting up all the audio equipment. Also, if you're planning on performing I think you need to check that with the fair supervisor? We're just here to build the stage. Sorry about that!" "Hey, watch the speakers up there, you're going to knock the beam loose!" "Sure, let me just untie that—" "Oh whoops—" A loose string of bunting pennants fell across Mak's head. Ari takes a quick response to Rosemary O'Rourke ( Shinko) before she has to leave to go do some courier-ing. Two stagehands try to kick Mak Moreno ( RielCZ) off the stage, while also trying to do their actual job. They drop a bunch of flags on him on accident.

Rowena watched and listened, feeling as if she was separated from the festivities somehow, as if she was floating above everything and watching. Such hype for the event, she noted, and yet, such absolute normalcy was going on. Not that there was anything wrong with that, of course. Normalcy was something to be embraced. No surprises, nothing scary, just a good time about to begin. Except...Yodel just wandering off. He didn't tend to do that, not very often, anyway. CRAWLING IN MY CRAAAAWWWLThat sound could only mean one thing. Ro surreptitiously looked up, and seeing nobody approaching her, pulled out her phone to see the text from the only one attached to such a song. A rare, tiny smile crawled onto the side of Rowena's lips. She swiftly replied, The crunch of thin tires on gravel. Rowena snapped her head up to see a girl only slightly shorter than herself. One look and Rowena instantly envied her, but briefly. The girl was on a bike, which meant she could go where she wanted, navigate spaces, explore... "Excuse me, could I have..."Rowena straightened up. There was no need to feel ungrateful, especially when there was a sale to be made. "Oh, hi, yes, Miss?" Smooth. "Could I have one of these batches of tarragon?" she asked. "How much is it?"Rowena noticed the girl's trailing eyes, leading right to her chest, and fought back a smile. "This is LePouf," she said, finding a bit more of her voice, ever grateful that animals made conversation 100% easier. She named her price--slightly higher than in grocery stores but then again, it was as local as one could get it. As Rowena handed the girl a bunch of tarragon, she pulled LePouf out of her jacket. The rabbit sniffed at the plants but was quickly moved to a bare spot on the table. "You can pet her, if you like," Rowena told her, an involuntary warmth crawling into her voice. The woman swiftly ignored what could possibly have been interpreted as a glare coming from the rabbit. Another screech of thin tires on gravel, but this one was much more familiar. Ro whipped up her head and grinned at seeing Liz arrive, in a smart skirt and cute boots that always made her in her own rough duds feel a little bit shy. No matter. Liz gave LePouf a scratch on her head, and the bunny instinctively leaned into it. "It's about time you got here," she teased. "Long day at the cathedral today?" she asked, belatedly noticing that she was neglecting her customer. "Thank you very much," she began, acknowledging the transaction. "Oh, Miss, you can pick her up too. She likes strangers a lot more than me." Another sound she recognized pierced her ears--but it was one she was all too familiar with. "Yodel, what are you doing?" Ro called, seeing the dog just sitting and screaming along to...music. Her hand immediately went to her forehead and she somewhat began to regret not actually getting a leash for the guy. No sooner had her voice left her lips than the dog abruptly stopped, got up, and bounded straight for another child--no, they were probably too old to be called that--a very familiar looking person. Panic-stricken, Ro whirled around to Liz and the girl. "Hey can you--oh dear--sorry--I'll be right back!" It was too late--Yodel's giant, and definitely messy paws were on the person's chest, nearly bowling them over, and his tongue was all over their face in a way-too-excited manner of greeting. "I am so sorry," Ro stammered, struggling to pry her dog off the somehow-familiar person. "He doesn't do that very often..." Ro trailed off, noticing the sadness in the person's eyes. She quickly looked away, never knowing what to say in such situations. "There's a rabbit at my stand..." she managed to get out. Smooooooth.( Liz's text tone) Rowena sells Alexis ( Gelquie ) the tarragon, silently envying her for her bike and the freedom it represents, coming out of her shell a little bit a la LePouf, her rabbit. Seeing that Alexis is interested in the rabbit, Ro allows her to pet the fluffy fluff. Ro is also able to relax more now that Liz( Twillie ) is here. However this moment of peace is shattered when someone decides to sing along to saxophone music ( Celestial ? What is even time continuity feel free to ignore this XD) and then stops, tackling Ayo ( Liou ) and licking their face and getting them very dirty, leaving a very flustered Rowena in his wake. this is what happens when a flufflepuff wants to interact

"I do in fact drink coffee, Anise! I especially enjoy the kind with the marvelous froth on top, and the simply delightful patterns in the froth. It's a pleasure to meet you, as well," she added quickly, realising that she had neglected to observe this most important of social conventions. Unfortunately Holly was otherwise occupied...smiling and tapping at that screen, and probably hadn't even noticed her attempt to correct her mistake. Alas! And the child hadn't said much, but that was understandable- adults were so much bigger, after all, it would be intimidating to be surrounded by so many of them! Still, she was engaged in conversation now, and she was determined to see this through! "Fionn was demonstrating his saxophone for me. Do you know how to make any music?" Dion looked at each of her non-Fionn companions in turn, even the child, though she was careful not to make eye contact in case she scared her away. Just a small little reply. When Elcie's Anise asks if Dion likes coffee, the visitor reveals that she is quite the fan of latte art. She almost forgets to express how happy she is to meet Anise and Shinko and, to her dismay, the latter woman is otherwise occupied when she corrects her mistake, and must undoubtedly think she is most rude! =( She also asks if the others are at all musically inclined.

Beatrice nodded along as Mr. Fox explained that he really wasn't sure of most things, even his own name. Though the trees taking over the town, that he was certain of. "So what brings you here?"Beatrice started as the man swung the conversation from wombats back to herself. She frowned. Her voice became cold and distant. "Just needed a break" she muttered, standing up. And just as suddenly as she began the conversation, she ended it. She briskly walked away, narrowly missing a couple of girls looking for the younger Bizelli. Beatrice is fine talking about Mr. Fox's ( Draco ) mysterious past, but not her own. She quickly ends the conversation, narrowly missing Ani ( Rabbit ♠ ) and Itzel ( Ginz ❤ ) And, uh, Nut might have inspired me to include a sketch of my own.

It was impossible to find a flattering angle for this jumble of tents that people seemed to be installing at random. Ayo quickly gave up on their search for a picture worth taking, and enjoyed the music instead. It wasn't the best, but musicians in general were cool. And picturesque. Eve's fingers always looked lovely on her guitar. Now a dog was howling along. The dog sure had the right idea - Ayo was in need of a good howling session. It was quite a striking dog, obviously well-cared for, but with a wild sort of appearance. Ayo had a picture with a similar dog somewhere in the old Wrighton album - they'd flicked past it minutes ago. Focused on their screen, they were about to get a closer look at the dog when the dog in question appeared right in front of them, providing a close-up and a faceful of rough tongue. Ayo squeaked, stumbled and nearly dropped their phone. They let the dog do its thing despite the dirt and slobber. Its warm weight was too pleasant to push off. "It's fine," Ayo said while allowing Rowena to wipe her dog off them, "I'm fine, my family has a dog, well a really small one that fits into a purse, but dogs are okay, and dog cuddles always feel better - aren't you a pretty one!" They let out a nervous, breathless laugh. "I mean both of you -" Ayo stopped, pulled out a slightly used tissue and dabbed at the licked patches of their face. Peeking over the tissue, they noticed that the girl looked just as familiar. She even appeared on the photo still on Ayo's screen - from another fair, probably. They had definitely seen her a few years ago. Ayo nearly pointed that out - but what if she recognised them too? "A rabbit, rabbits are great," they continued as if afraid to stop, "your stand must be cool, is that the one over there? That looks healthy. I need healthy things." To make up for the ice cream waiting in their freezer. Having spotted a rabbit-shaped pile of fluff, Ayo walked towards the stand. "Better bring your dog back over there. Do you do this every year?" The rabbit was already busy, taking care of a young customer. Ayo stepped back to stay out of her way. "Did I interrupt you, sorry, that looks tasty. Ah, hello." Now the goth girl was definitely familiar and Ayo didn't dare look her in the eye for fear of being recognised, even though she looked more stylish and more like Ayo's usual crowd than most of the folks in this town. "You have a nice... everything." Ayo gets de-dogged by Ro Mostly Harmless (flufflepuff) and they have someone to talk to so they keep talking, because you can't cry pitifully about your freshly split ex when you're chattering, right? Right! Also they apologise to Alexis Gelquie and casually throw a compliment at Twillie.

In response to Anise's question about coffee, Fionn shook his head. "Not often. I prefer a good beer myself. Although if you add enough cream, foam, sugar and syrup to coffee to make it nice and tasty, then serve it with a nice cake, I might be tempted. Or mix booze with coffee. That's also great!" He glanced nervously at Holly, giving her an awkward smile. She had certainly had a bit of trouble with him and booze when he did not know when to stop. That business with the drunk and disorderly conduct...how was he supposed to know lying across the bar singing and trying to tackle anybody who got close because he loved them so much would get him cited? Oh well. Fionn had no hard feelings towards her. Holly did her job and she was very good at it, not to mention he was sure beneath that professional exterior there was a wonderful, amazing person. But given their past encounters, he was not going to force that person out anytime soon. He liked the policewoman but experience had shown that pushing his luck with her was a terrible, terrible idea. Fortunately, Holly was suddenly distracted by a message on her phone, allowing Fionn to bend down and offer his hand to Dunkin to sniff. Dogs, unlike cats, he certainly could get behind, and Dunkin was certainly a sweetheart when he was not working. Even if he could not establish a rapport with the owner, perhaps he could get a friendly tail wag from the dog. Or even pet him! Petting Dunkin was always a pleasure: his fur was almost as soft as Fionn's own fur coat. He grinned up as Dion as she spoke about music. "Come to think of it, that's not something I know about either," he glanced between Holly, Anise and Esther. "How about it? Maybe if you do, we could all start up a Wrightonian band, just in time for the spring festival! Wouldn't that be something?" To answer Anise( Elcie), Fionn says he likes coffee with stuff in it. Then he thinks about his relationship with Holly( Shinko) which is complicated because she is the one cleaning up his messes, though he does respect her in a way. He still loves her doge though. Dion( Thorn)'s question makes him have the great idea of forming a band in Wrighton.
