Back to the current round, I am trying to get ideas for interactions but Fionn in my brain is very much "welp, mystery solved, time to get a hot dog" and wanting to wander away from the action, which cannot happen. D= So I am asking for volunteers if anybody wants to rope him into something! I'd offer Audo for interactions, buuuut I need to get off the computer now, and will be busy all day tomorrow until evening, which means no time for interactions until then, alas. </3 I still do wanna fling my musician at your musician at some point though, if you're up for it. x3; ((And now, a late reply to Carrie! \ o / Because I kept forgetting to reply to this sooner, oops.So in my effort to participate tm without ability to keep up overmuch due to aforementioned things, I am considering doing an NPC. And have a questionnaire for you - yes, you, good player! 1. Does your character like cats? 2. If so, what would your character most like to feed a wandering cat that they've taken in out of the goodness of their heart? <3 3. What would your character name their newfound kitty? 8D 4. If you were a cat, how would you describe your character? =o ... I will provide no further context. 8D THANKS. First I let Audo fill it out. Here is the result: 1. KITTY! \ o / 2. KITTY! \ o / 3. KITTY! \ o / 4. KITTY! \ o /
Okay Audo; thanks. \*pats him on the head, gives him some cotton candy, and sends him on his way* Now for the actual reply: 1. He loves kitties! And doggies. And pretty much any animal. I blame a personality quiz I took for him. One question had him pick his favourite animal from a group of four choices, and each time he chose the cute baby animal. And thus he turned into an animal-lover literally overnight (and without my permission, I might add). ;_____;2. Whatever he could. If he had catfood available, he'd feed it catfood. If none, he'd find whatever he could that would be cat-friendly. (So like... no chocolate obviously. xD; But bits of sandwich? Absolutely! \ o / ) 3. ...It would vary. \ o / 4. Hmmm... good question. =D I don't know. ^^; Maybe something relating to his hair? Or the fact that he is always ever-so-willing to share whatever food he has (or possibly even go buy some if he has none handy)? Or scent? (I kinda headcanon he tends to use more fruity-smelling shampoo and the like, because it Smells Better.) ...Or the fact that he'd tend to give out whatever name he thought of at the time. ("Man Of A Thousand Nicknames"?) ...I'm not sure. =D; ))

"I should catch both my characters up on everything," I said. "That way they're both involved and in the present," I said.
I didn't realize how much of a monsterpost that would create. Oops.

Encouragement, Rabbit ♠ . I'm encouraging you. To post your post. If I have to do this before every one of your posts, so be it. It's worth it.

Celestial I might not actually be able to finish a post by tonight; it's getting late and I'll have to wake up super early, so it might have to wait for me, I'm really sorry D: Feel free to write before me if you like, but I'll definitely have time later tomorrow!

Would anyone mind if I say Beatrice had been collecting contact information from everyone (PC and NPC) who contributed to the notes and puzzle. And this happened during the time skip? Things like names, phone numbers, maybe even social media or emails. I foresee a few conflicts, at the least. As an example, I don't believe Draco's Edward Fox has a cell phone, or possibly any reliable way to contact him. The Fox Signal. A high pitched cry of fox that is heard throughout the town, once activated Edward Fox leaps into action and will materialized out of the closest dumpster... Or maybe a bunch of angry foxes do. It's your call if you risk it! But really, yeah... Chances are you have to literally run into him to ever speak with him XD Edit: And I read posts, and see you made the signal joke already! XD

Also an in-story reason why the PCs (and NPCs if they want; again, you guys can totally get in on this) can communicate with each other long-distance may or may not be pretty useful sometime down the line. I'm assuming this means that people within the dome might need to communicate with people outside the dome (thus rendering cellphones void)? I don't know about two-way communication, but depending on the circumstances I can let my character know what's going on with another character/group of characters who are far, far away >> Would anyone mind if I say Beatrice had been collecting contact information from everyone (PC and NPC) who contributed to the notes and puzzle. And this happened during the time skip? Things like names, phone numbers, maybe even social media or emails. Cade would be glad to exchange names and phone numbers, as he too foresees that this might come in handy. Cue their moment of recognition: "Caden Glenn? As in my mother's old assistant's son?" "Beatrice Bizelli? You're back in town? Yeah... I've changed a bit since we last saw each other."

I'm going to have to play catch-up big time. xD But you guys are all writers, after all, so should be good!
Possible-fourteen hour shift today, then I'll be free to do all that.

But Thorn I'm not a writer, I'm an artist. :'D Though, writing about my character writhing in pain was such fun, maybe I do have a chance at being a great writer someday after all.

I'll think about it a bit more....

XD Does anyone still remember the era when a forum discussion would hit my brain just right and then I had to get that into a drawing? welp, you do now. (aaand this is why I like knowing what people's characters look like, June Scarlet ) Killix , honesty I figure that you write well precisely because you're an artist. Artists know how to visualize a scene vividly enough to describe it. Then it's just a matter of writing it down. EDIT: um, neither of us ever got around to responding to this, innit >>; Fraze Huntress I just want to know how long in-game will the roleplay take up: a few weeks? A month? I just want to time Ro's much-needed absence accordingly. Poor thing's been overworked. Not that long even; several days. Less than a week. At least that's the general plan; with things rolling as mysteriously as they are, the characters wouldn't be able to settle into much of an everyday lull until everything is solved. Also what the heck, I just quoted your post and then went back in the browser and it threw me back in time o___o Lost two pages of the OOC thread and showed your post as the most recent one with a timestamp of one hour ago. ...maybe this game is leaking into real life a little too well.

HuntressI'm still not totally sure what Edward Fox looks like honestly XD Right now I'm thinking of something between Adam West and my normal characters do (since most of my characters tend to look about the same XD; )

*Reads Killix's post* Curiouser and curiouser. Seems that something is trying to make some sort of communication.
(Yes chrome I know that curiouser isn't a word, that's the joke in the book.)
It's aliens isn't it
