Do we just edit our list in the spring cleaning one? I'm keeping it the same, pretty much. Just adding my "survive the children's musical" one. Assuming that counts. lol

Yeah, I'm probably gonna be keeping a number of my Spring Cleaning list items as well, just because of how long term they are x) You can add/subtract/keep as many items as you wish!

I was just gonna make a new post and leave my old spring cleaning list for posterity. I'll probably take a few tasks from the old list, but I kinda wanna start a list anew.
(Also, since I don't know if Summer Cleaning names got off the ground, my favorite is still Summer Sweep.)

Now that you mention it, GLQ, I might do the same as well, if for nothing else than to more easily find my list x)
(And we never really got a consensus on which name people preferred, so not too late to vote. That's a tally for Summer Sweep, at least!)

Aw yeah, this thing, kept meaning to take a closer look and get my ducks in a row. I intend to just keep up with my Spring Cleaning list, which was long enough as it is and still contains a bunch of stuff I need to get done, adding anything more to that would be creative suicide. Although for the time being I need to keep all my juices focused on Wrighton and the two books I'm translating (whyyy did I think that was a good idea, and yet I can't turn it down because they're all so interesting) and we don't really know how long Wrighton will ultimately last, so I'll be kind of ghost-participating at the start of it.
...now watch me get a random surge of getting-stuff-done-ness and jump on an unfinished project tomorrow.
I also like Summer Sweep, just to add to the name muddle xD

So I didn't exactly end up participating in Spring cleaning because life business... But Tiger's comment about participating to the level that I'm able makes me think I should get involved now. As to a name, I'd put in a semi-strong vote for something not bound to "Summer" since it's winter here. Though I do like the idea of keeping it to a nicely confined three month interval since it's easier to tackle that way. How about Mid-Year Blitz, or a name that's not time bound such as Project Completions or Clean Up Party, or something a bit more fancy like "The Wrap" referring to the wrapping up of projects or, I dunno, "Done and Dusted". Yeah, most of those names strike me as pretty lame (although I do like done and dusted for it's cleaning connotations as well as project completion connotations xP). But I should say, I'll also be content with a summer-related name since at least 90% of participants live in the northern hemisphere... |
