"Oh! Hmm, I haven't converted my money yet. Hang on, I'll be back." she promised before returning to Oirdz and Rith. She spoke to them quietly, trying to be discreet. "Do you like Eoi Slugs? Is 24.59 Kieseks a good price for them? Could I borrow some Kieseks? I would pay you back later."

Oirdz just gave her a look.
"There is not a trallyr on this planet who doesn't like Eoi slug, I assure you. I'm no expert on pricing them honestly. If you want to spend your money and pay me back.. well, you better pay me back."
His tone wasn't very interested but that last part sounded a little like a threat.
Occii piped up:
"I think they are priced by weight and breed... 24.59 Keiseks equals approximately fifty earth dollars."

Silver's ears flattened and her eyes widened with shock. "$50 Earth dollars?! That's... more than 50 thousand np." She returned to the Trallyr with the slug, and gave them a bow. "I am very sorry for having wasted your time, but it has come to my attention that an Eoi Slug is not something I can afford at this time."

The trallyr shrugged and made a noise that suggested he thought as much.
"It happens, lady. Don't worry yerself."

I am the first from my world to visit, and I think anyone short of a ruler or... the ruling species, I will be that last."

Other fellas sell 'em cheaper but mine are special. Selective secret diet, ya see? Really boost nutrition." Oirdz sighed. "Frankly anyone could get premade Eoi from a stand for 2 Kieseks" He mumbled this quietly.

"Well, thank you for your time!" she said before returning to Rithiv and Oirdz. "Thought you weren't an expert on Eoi prices." Rith teased.

The transport was getting quire close the disk where Oirdz lived. Through small windows detail could be faintly made out as they lost the edges of the disk over the horizon.

Rith, if she was looking, could see though the glass of the disk and begin discerning large trees spotting the surface. At firs tit didn't seem odd until you noticed how far away you still were. They looked down at her. One scoffed. The largest of them didn't really look at her when he said: "Working. Mechanics. Maintenance during operation."

"Why would you be required to work during the operation of a machine?" Rith watched the approaching world, and though she wanted to pester Oirdz with questions she said nothing, hoping instead Silver would return soon and do it for her.

Sometimes things break when you need them." Oirdz was looking out at the window distantly.

"Glad to be going home?" Rith finally asked Oirdz.

Another turned his head, revealing a hole in his beak. Oirdz nodded. "I missed the gravity."

Why aren't more efforts taken to keep you safe?" "That's all?" Rithiv asked.
