Nothing really major, but I just noticed that I didn't get a single r99 book. If you were donating mostly books, that could be why. Since you couldn't receive a prize in the category you were donating. |

It now appears that TNT is taking away the Winter Charity Corner avatar from those who got it yesterday. I don't like being this negative, but this might be one of the most poorly executed events we've seen in a long time.
Speculation time:
I wonder if there was some mix-up with the BD event that delayed it even more? CQ did say that they weren't planning on a Charity Corner any time soon in an editorial two months ago. This event was obviously copied and pasted from the 2015 one, right down to the prize structure (2000 donations for gold in a week?! That's fine if you had 10,000 items stashed away, but for those of us who don't hoard multiples of low-rarity items that was insane) and the 2015 avatar being awarded again. Makes one wonder if they only threw this up on a whim to buy time.

So everyone who got the Avatar had it removed and they released the Neopian Times early to address this in the Editorial:
Prize Tiers:
So they did use the same prize tier as last time? And here I thought I was being over cautious donating over 2k times.
But still though, 2k in a week? That's 286 times each day and a total of 10k items! Not a lot of people have that spare time nor NP (or want to spend that much time/NP) to do that! Heck, if I didn't have some gaps in my work schedule/work wasn't quick I probably wouldn't have been able to do it.
Multiple Prizes:
So, I was confused when I found that I had two of the same neomails from CC. Then I looked at my inventory and discovered they sent me two sets of prizes. And I'm not the only one, no one is talking about it on the Neoboards but the Trading Post is filled with lots of people with multiple sets of prizes asking JS what should they do. Now they'll probably tell everyone to delete the extra sets, though until I get official word I'm not touching my prizes (I'll put them in the TP like everyone else).

BTW, they responded to the multiple set of prizes issue: Figured that was going to be the case, but just wanted to make sure before doing anything. But at least we got our Avatar.  |

Something funny is still going on with the avatar. A number of people with less than 100 donations (so no bronze) have it. It's also not using the previous requirement from the initial release (donate on four days) since we have reports of people getting it despite only donating for two days. At least it is released widely - but it seems like another Spooky Food Eating Contest avatar where we'll never really know the exact requirements.

If so the requirement is probably just donating enough to get Bronze and up. The old requirement, donating for 4 days, didn't work as it glitched to giving the previous CC Avatar and they couldn't fix it. |

The placement of the trophy on the lookup is really bothering me xD Yeah, instead at the end they placed it next to 2015's Charity Corner. Considering how many trophies there are now maybe they should reorganize the trophies, or at least place the Yooyuball and GM/DD trophies on their own line. |

Unfortunately it seems something's gone awry when handing out the avatars to those of us who already had the Fall CC avvie. I can't imagine Granny not wanting to reward us after having put in all that work gathering these donation items.
