... Using Plat Nerks right now doesn't seem like a terrible idea. If you don't win big, you can sell the very rare gross food, haha. You know, I suddenly don't feel terrible about not getting the Nerk trophy after using 200 nerks last year.  ; Also, if you're Premium, you have a hoard of r90s+ from the BD. |

I got an apple moquot and disco shoyru mp in 12 tries. I donated all my R90s today. I didn't spend a penny so overall good  . I'll be really happy when there's a charity corner for bd equipment haha  . |

Last Charity Corner, 2015, to get the gold trophy and top prize, you need to have donated 2k+ items. However that was from September 24 to October 8, 15 days. This one is only lasting from the 2nd to the 9th, a mere 7.5 days. So JS could have lowered the trophy limits to correspond with the decreased number of days. I'm going to try to reach over 1k, I think that's a plausible challenge. |

Okay, I've just looked through the JN battledome prizes database they had been working on (Thanks Herdy, if you see this)
Looks like best opponents to battle to max out your chances at r90 plus items are:
Koi Warrior on Hard (3 general prizes in that battledome prize pool at r90 plus in the categories, plus 1 exclusive challenger one, plus, relatively easy to beat)
Valin or Donny on hard (1 r90 plus book in general, both have 2 items that are r90 exclusive to them, so does Snowbeast, but he's much harder to beat on hard)
Tiki Tack Man on hard (3 prizes, 1 general prize)
Vira on hard (3 items unique to her in r90 plus, but no general arena ones)
GHMC on easy/medium, probably easy (Both unique prizes to him are r90 and tyrannia arena has 2 r90 general prizes.)
Space station arena has 2 r90 general prizes, and the central dome has many, but central dome also has the biggest prize list, so harder to hit.
If you have premium, Jetsam Ace on medium.

Wow, I basically haven't played Neopets since the last Charity Corner. I'm surprised I still had this much hoarded, though (well, a fair amount of Water Pizzas, but still), and I managed to make 89 donations (only bothering with things that were rarity 88+ that I had extra of, might go back to standard "rare" rarity later) and get notable things like a Larnikin, a few rare Petpets, a Flame Reflectozap, some morphing potions (most notably Baby Uni), and a few other things that look nifty but I haven't bothered checking the price on.

...Welp, looks like all the r90-99 food items I bought like a year ago will pay off after all.
EDIT: And a bunch of other types of items too. Every now and again past me really pulls through.

That unfortunate feeling when you realize you've slowly been selling off your SDB the past month without checking rarity... I still managed to get a lot of donations. As much as I would like to try to get to 1000 donations, I doubt its going to happen. Oh well, I am extremely satisfied so far. |

Donated as much stuff as I had in my SDB that qualified, managed to donate 84 times overall. Can't really be bothered to spend more time and effort gaining items to donate, to be honest, so hopefully that's enough. xD

I've made three donations and gotten a few cheap prizes, and I don't expect to do much better than that x)
Where is everyone getting these massive hoards? Even after stuffing my SDB for the pack rat avatar, I don't really have that impressive a collection XD

Also, check your Neohome Storage Shed for items that you don't need, not just your SDB. You never know what you'll find. I've gotten a few clothing items (mainly for pets that I don't own) and a Halloween Kyrii Morphing Potion, out of the 31 times I've already donated. |
