Ok, so I'm just curious to see if anyone would be interested in reading a story about this... As a kid on Neo, I roleplayed a lot on the boards as a Zomutt named Zalda. I spent so much time doing it that she's a well developed character in my head even now (8+ years later). I'm interested in submitting a series to the NT based on mainly her and her best friend Zeke the Werelupe. I don't have any specific details as to what kind of plots I would come up with yet... but obviously there would be a story to first introduce Zalda to the NT, and then I would follow it up with some more in-depth and complex/grown-up adventures. So, would anyone be interested in reading about something like this? It didn't seem like the NT had much about Zomutts . . . and it had nothing about a story from a Zomutt's POV. If no one responds, I'll take the interest question as a no... but I may write it anyway, just for my own enjoyment.

To me, the fact that there's not so many Zomutt stories in the Times means that there needs to be more of them, not less. I would take that as a sign you've come up with a truly unique story idea, and don't take it to mean that you shouldn't bother. If you have something one of a kind to offer, that's a really good thing.
I also get the whole roleplay creating well-rounded characters aspect. That's where Ink came from. And actually the personalities of all my Dinner with the Scarlet characters. It really lets you get in their heads.
If it makes you feel somewhat better, I'm pretty sure I have seen stories from the POV of a petpet, so it's not unheard of. But I think you've got something good here, so don't let it go.

I think it's a great idea. Don't let the lack of these types of stories discourage you. Instead, be a pioneer with your story.

If you have a character so well developed and the story has never been done before, at least not in the way you're planning, I say you should totally go for it. ^^ It sounds like a good concept and you'll probably have fun writing it so I see no reason why you shouldn't write about these characters.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me some input, guys! It honestly means a lot. I've already started brainstorming the first submission.
