While I don't think it matters much since I'm still doing an article, I changed it from documenting the unknown species to how to deal with the Neopian Monsters & Ghosts if you were to encounter them. Reason? I just felt bored writing the original, and to me that translates to the reader being bored. There's just not enough known about the unknown species without making stuff up. Also instead of me telling how to deal with the encounter I'll be having different Neopian characters doing it to mix it up a bit. So to redo my entry:
Proposed Title of Entry: Dealing With The Monsters of Neopia Type of Entry: Article Short Description: We've all heard and may have experienced encounters with the darker beings of Neopia. How does one go about protecting themselves from these monsters? I asked famous characters from all around Neopia who have experience dealing with these monsters on what you should do if you were to encounter one of them.

... Moni- Did I ever mention that I'm a sucker for any and all alt-timeline plots? I'll happily beta if I have the time to. c: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyway, no reply from CQ yet. We have to start getting the ball rolling, so I'm asking here: October 7th or November 4th? I recall her saying the few weeks after an anniversary issue are still a bit flooded with entries. If we did early October, we'd be submitting around the anniversary issue which may be a bit... stressful for her. If it works for y'all, I think November 4th is a good choice but I'm always up for seeing your feedback. It's the week after Halloween, so it would still be relevant to that kind of spooky business. That would be #756. If this seems like a possibility, I'll directly ask her about the 4th.

I personally prefer October 4th, because I'd like to actually keep this one with at least a week between it and the Halloween issue. Keep the two from blending too much while still being part of the season.
But que sera sera.

Howdy, all!
Update. CQ responded and said this:
Well, folks, do y'all think we have enough time to put it off? We'd have 2 months. I think that would be enough time, but will y'all have enough time to get something done by then?

okay I will try this out. I enjoyed Wraithland so why not? I think I can pull it off in my downtime.
Title: (working on it) Type: Series Description:This series will be about the origins of The Awakened, very little is known about them. Jellyneo's Book of Ages suggest the girls were pushed into a well and that’s how they lost their lives. Questions that come into mind are how can two little girls rise to power and become in charge of a faction without any previous prestige. The truth behind that question is that Eliv Thade discovered them to claim his stake unnoticably of the obselisk treasures. In my series the girls fall into the persuasive trap Eliv Thade has over them, because he provides them with anything a little Wocky can ask for, which includes plushies, candy, cake, matching purple designer dresses, and a chance to shine in the spotlight. Meanwhile the fame they are receiving gets between the two sisters tight bond when they fall victims to their own greed by wanting to outshine each other. The inner demons of the girls will unleash as they struggle to maintain their composure from the top. Will there relationship completely crumble or will they learn the monstrosity it’ll cause if it does? Will they take back their identities before it becomes a mere ghost of them?

I think that would be enough time, but will y'all have enough time to get something done by then? I think October is still doable, and fits with the theme better. Plus I don't want to go through another round of date discussion with CQ. Let's roll with this one.

I personally prefer November because my finals are on middle Sept-middle Oct. But I can just opt out if everyone prefers October. It's fun reading 'em too.

I still prefer October, as it fits the theme better. I can still get the word out in this amount of time. I did it before with Dreams and Nightmares.
Oh, if it is issue 752, it's like a trifecta of timing - Issue 750, then my birthday, THEN the collab!

2 months? Hmm, yeah, that'll work for me.

So all I had left to do on my collab submission was to edit, but that submission is now a maybe... because my computer's hard drive just went and died and I hadn't saved my word document to any external source. Now I have nothing, and as of right now I'm so not up for redoing it all. At least I had saved really important stuff to external sources like my personal photos and music and whatnot.

Ouch, sorry to hear about that. Don't worry about the collab, there's always the next one, you just focus on the problem at hand. A quick lesson here, when you've done a significant amount of work always save it either via a flash drive or emailing to yourself. Computers are handy, computers make doing things easier, but computers can also be fickle.

I'm totally in! Count me in for another short story. Amulatt enjoyed being tormented in the last one so much! Amulatt: YOU ART A LIAR! And maybe Aerlliin could go with her and it'll be in Neovia, like a continuation of her very first story! Aerlliin: YOU'RE A MONSTER D= Edit: A continuation of THIS story right here, likely going to call it "Return of the Dolls." It was fun writing it the first time, and writing a second part after all these years will be pretty freaking incredible
