Have you ever looked through your safety deposit box and noticed you had over twice as many Old Rotten Right Shoes as you did Old Rotten Left Shoes? Why is this happening? Could it be most Neopians are right handed and therefore step right foot first into troublesome areas that sweep away their shoe? Or could there be more to the story? Why do we even catch footwear so deep underwater anyway? Here are some possible explanations!
Old Rotten Left Shoes prey on Old Rotten Right Shoes. There needs to be more prey than predator for a sustainable ecosystem.
Landfish have two right feet.
Someone is throwing more right-footed shoes into the water just to mess with people.
Wearing left boot with a right shoe and a right boot with a left shoe is a trend. It would explain why I catch more Old Rotten Left Boots than Old Rotten Right Boots. Old Rotten Sandals appear to be about even in their right to left ratio.
The Sway did it.
The Meepits did it.
Meepits are the true masterminds behind The Sway.
Maraquans are trying to practice strolling down streets and dancing.
It’s a byproduct of Dr. Landelbrot’s experiments. He feels incredibly guilty about all that litter!
The shoes are actually cleverly disguised alien probes sent to gather intelligence on our oceans. The aliens really like seafood.
Captain Scarblade keeps sending spies to Maraqua.
The fish hang shoewear on hooks to protect other fish.
The alien Aishas are attempting to subtly convert Neopians to their tastes.
The Neopians for Bare Feet League has come up with this crafty ploy to disgrace the image of shoes in the popular Neopian mind. Socks are next.
(more theories will go here, both completely crazy and possibly realistic)
Whatever the reason, it’s all right in the end.
