So I complete a Grey Faerie quest, and she says, Question: Wouldn't the Grey Faerie still be indebted, just towards another faerie? And why did she ask for help from a dark faerie, of all people? How are you going to pay off that debt?! Especially since it was a Dark Faerie that turned her into a Grey Faerie. Since Fyora invited Baelia (I'm assuming the Grey Faerie we're talking to is Baelia) maybe she gave her special privileges? Fyora: "Alright everyone, I have a big announcement! I decided that, while we're revamping the way we do Faerie Quests, we should also invite two more special Faeries!" *Rapid gossip start between the Faeries, guessing who would they be. It stops when Fyora raises her hand*Fyora: "I can see you're all excited, so let me introduce them without further or do. Quest giving sisters, give a big welcome to (Soup Faerie's name) and Baelia!" *Soup Faerie and Baelia walk out to both applause and gossip*Fyora: "I'm sure you're all surprised by my choices, but I feel both of them have something special they can contribute. Out of all of us (Soup Faerie's name) has proven to Neopia she is one of the most kindest of us. In these trying times us Faerie need all the help we can get and I feel this trust between her and Neopia will provide valuable assistance and sympathy to our cause. Likewise, Baelia's plight, and through her the plight of all Grey Faerie, is well known and they've become the Faeries which Neopia have want to help the most. Once again, I feel this initiative will provide us with valuable assistance to rebuild Faerieland, our magic, and the barrier keeping back the Wraiths." *Gossip start once again, most sounding positive and accepting*Fyora: "I'm glad that you've all have accepted these sisters into our circle of quest givers. However I must make an addendum. Baelia, being a Grey Faerie, does not have any magic of her own. This is why I have given her special permission to ask a basic element Faerie, including the Naia, for them to grant their reward to her quester." *Gossip tries to start but Fyora immediately raised her had to stop it*Fyora: "I can only imagine what some of you are thinking. Let me remind you that we are ALL sisters, we stick together and help each other out, especially now. And all quest at the moment are working towards the same goal, so why does it matter if the quest completed was done by a quester you asked of Baelia? In addition many Grey Faeries have asked me for further awareness and I feel doing this will also succeed in doing that. Finally, as yet another way to revamp Faerie Quests, this adds in a wild card quest, especially with Naia accepting to be one of the rewarders which fulfills yet another request by Neopian who want her quest to be given out more. All in all, I feel this sisterly assistance is an inconsequential detail in the grander scheme of things. So, with all things said and done, this announcement is over. Let us continue to prepare for the upcoming Faerie Festival and introduction of the revamped Faerie Quests. We will raise Faerieland back into the clouds and continue our duty of making Neopia a better place!" *Applause and cheers*... Sorry, got a little carried away there. |

Also quite possible they didn't change enough things when they copy/pasted the code from last year - they made that mistake with the AC. Likely won't be a fix until tomorrow.

Didn't realize this was going until I checked my e-mail yesterday and saw a "One day left!" message. Would have been nicer to know two weeks ago. :1
I got a Grey Faerie quest. I still have a FFQ saved, though, so I'm not sure what I want to do yet..

So I cataloged my faerie quests from this event, and I think the final count is:
Soup Faerie: 2 (4 strength, 4 levels)
Earth Faerie: 5 (3 strength, 12 agility)
Fire Faerie: 2 (6 strength)
Dark Faerie: 1 (3 HP)
Light Faerie: 2 (4 levels)
Battle Faerie: 2 (6 HP, 6 strength, 6 defense)
Air Faerie: 1 (3 agility)
Grey Faerie: 1 (FFQ)
In total, that's 8 levels, 9 HP, 19 strength, 6 defense, and 15 agility. And an FFQ, which I used to turn my baby Xweetok into a desert Xweetok. XD
This event has made me realize just how handy Faerie Quest cookies are... LOL! Perhaps I will invest in them when I start getting a paycheck...
Wonder what the final reward is? hrmmm...

Overall I did pretty good this year. Probably should have also recorded what Faeries I got, but I can't complain with any that I got. Got the Soup Faerie and Grey Faerie (all Basic stat increases) several times, got the Battle Faerie and Fyora a few times too, and Basic Faeries inbetween. Overall Firo got a lot of nice stat increases, probably over a million or two worth's. So I'm happy.  The Fire Faerie Skirt looks alright. And as I said in the beginning it's alright for this year to have the story explanation similar to last year's, but next year I hope they come up with something else that advances the "story". |

Yep, I didn't actually do many of the quests (maybe completed them twice overall), but at least visited every day and am glad to have gotten the prize from it! =P

Could be that they track participation based on whether you received all those freebies every day before accepting a quest. In this case the skirt would be a sort of consolation prize for those who for whatever reason couldn't complete quests (and for hapless newbies who don't have a side account / don't know the shopwiz trick / don't want to or can't ask the boards / don't conveniently have a Neopets-playing husband sitting in the other room to ask to look up the day's item because ours is a household of nerds, it wouldn't be the easiest event to take part in). This isn't the first time I've noticed that they seem to be dishing out as many perks for visiting the site daily as possible.
I wasn't sure if I'd actually gone to the questpage every day, the final day was a bit weird in that regard because of timezones and I thought I might've missed it, but apparently I did get my faerieskirt.
