I got a Dark Faerie quest lame. Says the person with a Jhudora avatar. ;P Got the Soup Faerie, asked for a 900 NP item, and she gave me +2 Agility and +2 HP. Not a bad start, sure the Agility is kind of useless but the HP is nice (especially since I usually spend between 50k-100k+ for just 1 point increase most of time). The "story" for this year sounds okay. Sounds like the Faeries are starting to get tired and/or desperate with their magic starting to fail in some places so needs a massive amount of quests to build up the barrier and give the Faeries some rest. If I recall, last year was them finishing the rebuilding of Faerieland so it's not the same story which is good, it feels like things are progressing in some way. I guess the question would be what they plan on doing next year.

A kind person doing SSW help on the Quest chat sent me the item I needed for my quest, which was for the Water Faerie c:
I'll definitely be trying the SW tab beforehand thing from now on. Since I know about it now, I'd feel guilty for wasting people's SSW searches

Earth Faerie Quest (cheap one as well) Actually, looking through the list of items the Faeries ask for, none of the Basic, Soup, or Grey Faeries requests are going to be expensive. Like out of those 8 the Fire and Water can ask ones actually worth a few thousand but their most "expensive" request doesn't go over 8k. Battle Faerie's request oddly only has a few that go over 100k, all the others are Shop Wizard price. Fyora, Space Faerie, and Fountain Faerie is where things get expensive. While they have plenty of cheap items they could ask to get, if you're unlucky they may ask for one worth a few hundred thousand or over a million. Now obviously the Fountain Faerie quest has a higher chance of that happening, Fyora and Space Faerie's range is bigger so there's a better chance of something Shop Wiz price... though I wonder if its worth it. Obviously it'll depend on the item, but if Fyora or the Space Faerie ask you for something worth several 100k or even a million obviously most people will reject those quests. I think they should maybe decrease their range a bit, like maybe cap their max rarity at r90. A kind person doing SSW help on the Quest chat sent me the item I needed for my quest, which was for the Water Faerie c: I'll definitely be trying the SW tab beforehand thing from now on. Since I know about it now, I'd feel guilty for wasting people's SSW searches Oh like they were using their SSW searches for anything better. ;P And unless its Fyora, Space, or Fountain a search on the normal Shop Wiz will find their item cheaply enough (maybe with one or two refreshes on another window just to make sure).

This is incredibly poorly timed because I just got myself hooked to NC Mall recently after howevermany years of saving my accidental NC for unknown special occasions (read: hoarding) and resolved to get NCstuff whenever I could because there are way too many retired things that I like and never actually got when they were available. And now I suddenly have all those Delina's quests to throw my moolah at. The question of whether a given quest is worth it is extremely subjective, really, seeing how what's expensive for one is unimportant pocket money for another and we all have different things that we value. By all accounts I shouldn't have any business accepting regular faerie quests because they mostly give stats and I don't do much of anything in the Battledome but eh what the heck it's a fun event to be part of anyway. Infact, I don't even know what counts as "expensive" any more - I know for a fact that I put all my NP in the bank two days ago and right now I've somehow built up over 100k again, mostly by virtue of Trudy's Surprise plus the dailies, the occasional flashgame and whatever comes from my shop. It used to take what, two weeks of regular playing to get that much?

*casually lured back into the site* >_> Long time no see, Light Faerie. I agree that the usefulness of quests is subjective. When you're at that super fragile balance in the training school where one stat boost will increase your codestone price, for instance.
And Fyora has once again forgotten to apply eyeliner to her left lid. Yeah, the Faeries are getting tired.
But say, isn't this year's story (almost) the same as last year's? It sounds very very familiar to me.

And also the best timing for Wraithland, isn't it? =P It's the same theme as last year (that's when they introduced the idea that Faerie quests are what keeps Wraiths away), but they've re-written it. When it happened last year I thought they were deliberately doing it as a tie-in to Wraithland. Fyora seems a bit blunt this year, but as writing for events goes JS certainly could have done worse.

Sounds familiar to me, too - though I don't remember the mention of the faeries needing rest, or it coming across as if Fyora was imparting a grave secret unto us o0 I kind of want to check JellyNeo now and see if they have this bit from last year to compare sometime when I'm not at work would be better, probably

It was? So was it two years ago when they announced Faerieland had been rebuilt? I could have sworn it was last year as that was around the time that the lay offs happened and in my farewell article to them I had Fyora mention that.
