Hello.
Sometimes when my comic's height is too big the texts become unreadable, they look blurred or something like that. Is there a way to fix this, or is there a "height limit" that is relative to the width of the image?
Thank you.

I'm assuming you're referring to NT comics? I wouldn't say there's a "height limit," per se, but the taller your comic is, the more compression it has to go through to meet the size requirements. How far you can compress it without it becoming unreadable depends on what type of compression method you're using, but even the best compression can only compress so far.
But if you mean something else, then I'm not sure how to help. XD;

Yes, that was it. I guess I'll just try to shorten my comics as much as I can. Thanks!

Do you set the compression values when you save your comics, or just save them with whatever default settings your program of choice gives you? Because I just went and took a look at your recent comics and they're somewhere in the 50-70 KB range, which is well below the 200 KB limit. When I save mine, I set the compression at whichever setting keeps the image closest below 200 KB (usually in the 180s to stay safe) and the longest comic I've published was 2080 pixels with no readability issues. I know that Paintshop as my weapon-of-choice has the default compression set so high that if I save anything in it without adjusting settings, it gives me a very small filesize that looks like a pixelated mess, so adjusting the settings has become an automatic part of the comicmaking process.

Oh, that must be it! I'll take a better look next time before compressing my comics. Thanks. ♥

The longest comic I've gotten away with was Ink: As Black as Ink - Part 11 at 4974px long, and that was only 174kb, so I could have theoretically made it longer. However, I go to extreme lengths to keep my file size low. I only allow myself two colors, Black and White, and I make it a gif image, which compresses it a lot, and I keep it at only 400 pixels wide, instead of the full 470px you can have. So yeah, as long as you can find a way to keep it in the file limit of 200kb, and keep it looking good, you can have it as long as you want.

I honestly thought that it was somehow related to the height of the image. Would've never thought of the compression/size stuff.
Thanks a lot, everyone!
