Well, I decided that I am going to try and post some sketches and stuff here on the NTWF boards because...why not? Aside from writing short stories, I do like to draw every now and then, and I have always wanted to draw my pets as well, but could never quite put it all down on paper until just recently. I sure hope to be quite active on this thread for a long while, since my motivation to draw and stuff kind of switches on and off from time to time. Takes a lot of motivation for me to get started on a sketch, then to digitally color and finalize it is another part of the story. So, to begin: Here are a couple old, early concept art pieces that I have made about three years ago of one of my main pets. You'll have to forgive me a bit, since I know that my art style is not the best and I am still kind of a beginner. |

Great artwork! And I'm not so sure you're really a beginner, because they're definitely expressive characters, which is something that usually takes a lot of practice to get to. xD also zafaras are the best and everyone knows itAlso, since you've mentioned it, a quick note that there are ways to attach images to the thread! You have to be in the Reply screen (click the Reply button above the Quick Reply box), select "Add Attachment" at the top-right, and browse your computer for where it's stored. Alternatively, if you're already hosting it online somewhere, if you'd not rather post it as a link you could also right-click the image, select "Copy Image Location", and use the image tag (syntax being {img}imageurlhere{/img} except with square instead of curly brackets) in order to have it show up inline, like so: Either way, if you were interested in using a dedicated image hosting service, I'd personally recommend Photobucket or deviantArt; both make it easy to upload, organize, and directly link, and the former is simpler/more private while the latter comes with some social media-like functionality as well. |

Oh...well thanks, Coaster! That means a lot.  I guess I really am my own harshest critic. xD Back then when it came to my art, I tended to leave it at the sketch since when I tried to digitally ink and color it I always felt that there was something off or missing from the image. Sometimes I even feel that the sketch looks much better than the colored version and pretty much leave it unfinished. But now, I think it's time I dusted off my old sketchbooks and get some scanning done. Oh...wow...how did I miss the "Add Attachment" at the top right? I must not have been paying attention. Whoops. XD oh yes they sure are! we all love them Zaffies! xDSpeaking of which, it's such a shame TNT did not seem to care much about the Zafara, they were so underutilized on the site with too few heroes and not very many featured in plots. Heck, you never even saw them use their innate ability to breathe fire in any official art. That would have been cool to see. |

Hello again. This thread has been quite quiet for a while now. Luckily I just found some time to work on a couple drawings in the past few days. This time I'm introducing Wiluite, the green Kyrii. Normally I would describe his personality, but I think I'll let the images speak for themselves this time...  (Look at him trying to look cool... xP)
