I personally liked today's animation. Sure, it has more than a few holes but I do appreciate the story and the intent, and the portrayal of Nabile and Jazan as a good couple where one is supportive of the other. Another thing with this Advent Calendar so far that I've felt is that, for all of the faults with it, at least JS are trying. There feels like there is some effort put into what they're doing and into bringing something good forward, even if they don't necessarily succeed in some areas. Whether that's due to lack of time or budget or talent, it's unfortunate, but I do appreciate the thought and the effort. We have bits of site lore thrown around and some decent items. For that reason, I'm willing to be lax and not try to criticise every single decision that is made.

idk the story is pretty clear to me. Nabile is super bored, so Jazan sets up a little fantasy heist for her. I thought it was pretty cute.
And honestly, I really don't mind JS reusing all these assets. Honestly, I like that the new staff is at least trying to catch up on Neo lore. Yeah, it's easier, but I can't imagine they have the resources to do anything different.

I like that they used Nabile and Jazan. The animation was nice, in my opinion. I could definitely see Jazan doing this for Nabile. The only question I have was where he got those lasers...
Anyway, I like the use of plot characters. :3

I agree, I thought today's animation was cute. Nabile is bored and so Jazan sets up a little bit of fake thievery for his waifu to cheer her up. Sure the lasers look a bit out of place, but I'm willing to forgive it and as Hunty pointed out, could just as easily say it's magic. If Kristy can write Nabile, Hannah, and Brynn cavorting around Neopia Central in jeans helping the Defenders and make it absolutely work, jumpstart can put security lasers in Qasala. 'Sides, the Lost Desert was introduced via a Sloth plot. Them having Virtupets tech ain't that far fetched. *shrug*

So Angry Orange Yurble was basically the Boromir of the Fellowship of the Altador founders. And now he cleans floors in their eternal hall of fame.
Yeah, I'd be ticked off all the time too xD

DAY 17: Animation: Not quite sure what the story is here. And no, I'm not annoyed, just slightly confused. So the Angry Orange Yurble dreams him and a few of the other founders are eating an Omelette and later Finneus finds a book of that very scene. There's a story there, I just can't grasp what it is. But as I said I'm not annoyed at it, just confused. I guess it a cute animation, though it makes me feel there's a story behind it.
Gifts: And one of the gifts further add to the mystery. So if the Omelette is ancient then did this happen long ago? But it couldn't as the Orange Yurble Janitor is there so it would have to be recent. Oh whatever, the book is nice.
DAY 18: Animation: Cute, I guess not a lot of Neopets can say they're gift from Fyora was a hug. ;P
Gifts: A Plushie Collector's day. Hm, there hasn't been a Baby Poogle Plushie before? I would have thought at least every Baby Neopet would have a Plushie made of it by now, well except for the Vandagyre for obvious reasons.

No one got the Abominable Snowball anything either. He's just a moocher, don't you see him crashing all the other Advent Calendar animations?

...Huh. At the start of the animation, when the line of babies is coming in - the Poogle is a baby Chomby XD ((overall I've been enjoying the Advent Calendar for what it is, forgive me a little nitpick </3 ))

I'm sort of confused what the scarf and dyeworks brews even have to do with the animation. XD

In previous years, TNT gave out NC items as well during some advent animations. I was also expecting a stocking stufftacular pack.
