Glyph: Really? Can I watch? ---- Fish: *follows* I will not be in the way! Ira: Uh... if you want. She holds an arm out, the scar lines begin to shift and move, lifting to become many thin, green extensions.---Sure, sure. They arrive at the ship, which opens to let them in. Plumtrr then begins entering data in a keypad and pulling up information on the front screen. Naasoo sits on the floor nervously. Glyph swam closer.Glyph: Ooh! ---- Fish went up to the front screen, watching.Fish: How will you find the "Green Devil"?

It can track specific organisms. It's not accurate enough to pinpoint but a 500 meter radius is enough to give me an idea. Ampich-Anne: Plumtrr. Your logic is flawed. If you locate Ira, how will you confront them? You do not have the physical ability to match her. You cannot rely on Yourself, Naasoo, or the sample.

These are part of my form, and the real trick is pulling them back in to the basic shape of the arm, see? *they fall back together, seams reforming* --- Too strong. Faster, stronger, and deadlier than she looks. She heals fast, too. Ampich-Anne: The sample I am referring to is the sample of their DNA that we retrieved from- You can stop there, Ampich.

Yeah, um, you need to get in a lot of good flaps to be sure you stay afloat. Just keep trying, I guess? Ahh...right fine. He tensed his wings, then gave a sudden flap. Getting air, it ended up looking more like a big jump as he came back down unsteadily on his feet and looked to all of them.Ash: .....maybe you need a running start? Um... maybe, yeah. And try flapping a little more?

Did you want to move this to a seperate thread to avoid clogging this one? XD ))
Ira hesitated.Ira: I am not removable. There is no longer anything to remove me from. It is all me. I do not know what damage I caused this body. My kind is unable to determine what kind of, let alone the condition of, a body before they attach. I have tried moving others of my kind to more efficient hosts but it is impossible. When we find a host body, alive or dead, we take up the shape entirely over time. Ira pauses again, talking quieterIra: ... If the body I am in now was alive when I came across it, it is no longer as such. She fixes Glyph with a serious gazeIra: If you now bear hostile intentions towards me I will have to eliminate you. Too many races have done the same. I do not risk the existence of my kind on loose trust. --- Plumtrr is irately imputing things in the keypadAmpich-Anne: Do not mind him. He finds the topic aggravating if approached neutrally. A 3-D holographic display lights up in the middle of the oddly shaped room. On it is the image of an odd, worm-like creature, it's back covered in long, thin, sharp tendrils. It replays in a short, looping animation of it moving, presumably swimming. Next to that image is an image of Ira, the same extensions, much larger, coming from her back, arms, and under her eyes.Ampich-Anne: According to our analysis, the strength of the lunar parasite Glyphos A, as named by the human research facility located on the moon Glyphos, springs from a very high muscular density in it's tissue. The parasite appears to have very few organs, and it's body is composed of a mix of various working cells. We believe it has the ability to separate out these different types of cells for various purposes. Since the specimen Ira is in the body of an adolescent human female, she looks far less dangerous than she is. We compare her strength to that of an Earth grizzly, or a Vitarian Snuffbeast. On the screen is now 2-D footage, low quality, in what appears to be a jungle-like biome, outside of a concrete facility. A small, disheveled figure can be seen stumbling to the doorstep and collapsing.Ampich-Anne: This is the first known images of Ira. Her creation is unknown, but there are several hypothesis involving refugee children work forces used on the same moon. We believe the original human child to be dead, as the body has not grown or developed in the time is has been inhabited.

A couple of hops helped him achieve something similar to gliding, but as he was still close to the ground his following wing flaps hit against it. This caused him to lurch and tumble down- skidding against the grass for a couple of meters.Ash: Ahh..g..geeze! He hurried over, helping Artemis untangle and sit up.

Whoa! Are you okay? Chiller watched quietly, taking step toward Artemis when he fell, but stepping back when Ash went to help him. Artemis nodded and coughed, then took some moments to spit out some grass.Ash: ........well you got some distance. Ash helped him to his feet, and then to dust off. So....how'd I mess that one up? Should I start from a roof? Ash: I think you should learn how to land first, for your sake.
