Oirdz: I realize I misspoke. It is based on 'lightness'. Vibrant feathers are prized, but the lighter the shade, the higher on the social scale you are nudged to become. That is why I have stained mine grey. Rith: Okay. And staining your feathers grey is a moral sin? it was as though he were grinning.Oirdz: well, on Arkriir, our current home planet, the dying or changing of one's feathers is outlawed. However, to become Anraw one must make use of Anrawikt: Which can turn your feathers black as death. A loophole, persay.

Not you, the law forbidding you to change your feather colors. You're clever. Did you say current home planet?

Our old home planet was obliterated. We moved the landmasses to a new, larger planet. Where we met Tolvanites.

Our home world was obliterated too, but every viable new world we find is taken by a native species or infested with humans spawned from that accursed Progeny Program. Or both.

But we didn't need a viable planet, we settled our kind in orbit around a liquid planet.

Oirdz: Yes. But we didn't need a viable planet, we settled our kind in orbit around a liquid planet. Rith: Was it uninhabited? Oirdz: Yes. There were swarming creatures in the liquid, and Tolvanites in orbit. We only accidentally made contact with the latter, and have reached coexistence.

Oirdz: Well, as you can- He looks behind him and stops, looking rather displeased.Oirdz: ...Never mind. They are bodiless life forms. I've lost mine.

If you meet such an individual named Occii-Lie, do inform me. I would like to locate him before I lose volition.
