That's true. I guess I'm just reminded of how many staffers we lost. Hopefully Droplet is one of the staffers in the tournament. She's my #1 pick for sure.

Would have been nice if they'd introduced some the new staff BEFORE they laid off all the old legends, but at least they're trying.
(I realised a few days ago I still haven't come to terms with the layoffs. All these people who had such a big part in making me feel good about myself, just gone.)

I agree with Herdy. Having signups during a long weekend is a really, really bad idea. x.x Here's hoping the glitches aren't too bad. Edit: Apparently, sign ups are now on Tuesday.  Seems they saw the board and listened to Herdy's advice. |

They either forgot loyalty bonuses are a thing or didn't code this year's right, since they seem to be the source of the problem (they are glitched for non 10 year players as well, but in a different way).

Or they just copied last year's AC code which didn't account for players who have been playing for 10 years. Whatever happened, I imagine no one told the people responsible for putting up the AC about loyalty bonuses, the old artists were fired before they could draw one, and now JS is going to have to scramble to draw one and code it into the signup page.
The glitch for non 10 year players is a bit less extreme. I was able to sign up still and get my prize. It told me I got the prize for 2 years of dedicated play, but the reward for 3 years was in my inventory.
