The Flash game that I did the graphics for is out on Newgrounds! It's pretty simple, but I like to think the characters are charming, at least. It's about three monsters trying to build a rocket to escape their doomed junkyard home. Click a button! Eat things! Outrun dogs! ... Okay, I'm bad at advertising.

Cute game! Sadly, I doubt I'll make it that far just by looking at my first run performance X) I don't know if it's my personal computer, an overall lag, or just my general awfulness at games (probably that), but I can't catch the food in time. The slowness combined with really close hazards also makes for a noob Twillie Nonetheless, great work! How big a project was it for you? Did you work solo or with a team?

Twillie Thanks! Yes, this is sadly one of those games that lag is not kind to. Sorry about that! It was a fairly big project--this was the first game I'd worked on from start to finish and I did nearly all of the graphics for it, save for a few bits of the GUI. Considering how many different items are in the game (around 30 if I remember correctly), that's quite a bit of work. I estimate altogether it took me about a month's worth of work, although that's not nonstop, as there were times when I had to wait for the programmer to give me further direction. (I actually had all of the graphics done much earlier than the release date, but the programmer was working on this project on-and-off, which is why it took so long to come out. Ah well, that's team work for you.) I did all of the graphics work on my own, under the direction of Xanadu32 (the game's producer, director, writer, and programmer). He also brought a great composer by the name of Joe Harrison on board to do the music.

Pretty impressive to finish all of that in a month's time. The visual atmosphere, even and especially for a landfill, has a nice fantasy charm to it :3
