I don't know how much sense there is to make of it, but whatever happened happened.  *lays still, having familiarity with the procedure* ...  *eventually he falls into deep sleep, his wings sprawling out* |

Tuce patted his arm and helped Caslon set up the equipment that would put him out. She stood over him and began counting down once the machine was turned on... *lays still, having familiarity with the procedure* ... *eventually he falls into deep sleep, his wings sprawling out*
They left Artemis on the bed when they were done, replacing the blanket. Chiller sat in a corner with a book, waiting for him to wake up. |

Chiller sat in a corner with a book, waiting for him to wake up. *he eventually starts groggily muttering, waking up* Mgrm.  *he sits up, but upon glancing around the room and noticing Chiller he sinks back down, as if in a change of mind* .... *coughs* ....they're done? *he darts a glance at his right shoulder* |

They got to work, first removing the blanket. After ample coaxing Chiller helped out, holding Artemis steady. Her eyes wandered over his scars.
They left Artemis on the bed when they were done, replacing the blanket. Chiller sat in a corner with a book, waiting for him to wake up. *he eventually starts groggily muttering, waking up* Mgrm. *he sits up, but upon glancing around the room and noticing Chiller he sinks back down, as if in a change of mind* .... *coughs* ....they're done? *he darts a glance at his right shoulder* Chiller: *flings the book she was reading* Finally. No wonder humans didn't get much done until they modified themselves with technology. Reading takes forever. *stands up* Tuce says you need a bath. She asked me to help you, so I asked her a return favor. She stopped asking. Crazy Gazakhan wanted to sponge bath you while you were out, but I convinced her you'd rather bath yourself. You're welcome. |

I'll ask Tuce if it's safe for humans, but I think it is. I've tossed it onto humans whose stench was attracting wildlife, and I didn't notice any unintended side effects. |
