*he watches them for a moment* ....are you going to have to take it off? The robot with messy hair looked up.Caslon: Yes. The other robot looked up as well, and gave him a gentle smile.Jannon: But we should be able to fix it. Ohhh...okay. Is it...going to take long? Fixing it. Should I do something to help?

Chiller came closer, looking at the arm.Chiller: Ooh, wow. I didn't notice.

I'm not sure how much I could help but I can try.

The sand creeped under the remaining panels and lifted them.

As a punishment. Caslon returned the sand to Chiller's pockets.

Caslon: *examines beneath the panels, looking for how to remove the arm* They don't have to be mad if we finish before they know.

Chiller: I can still leave if the body becomes damaged. Er, well, be removed, anyway. Trapping someone in a single body is a punishment reserved for traitors. Tuce: Who is Ash? Caslon: *examines beneath the panels, looking for how to remove the arm* They don't have to be mad if we finish before they know. Switching bodies... *he finally gives her a proper glance* That sounds like it would hurt or something. Well I mean, yeah. Ahh, h.he's my...umm...he's the guy that built this for me. Not by himself. Well, mostly. It was new for him too, but we managed to get this one to work, better than the others anyways. *there's a pause, as if he's thinking on something* If he finds out.....it doesn't even have to be my fault, he always gets mad. I don't even think he's talking about the arm most of the time anyways. I don't know. *he addresses Caslon* It's made of steel. These are the pressure plates. *he points to the lifted panels, and the small ones along his hand as well* So I can feel some stuff, sort of. You know? Ash usually puts me under if he needs to get it off, with his tools and stuff too. Keeps going on about not wanting me to accidentally electrocute him or some crap like that. Artemis reaches in to help push the wires away. Some of them are still uncut, along with the SATA-like cables and remaining things feeding between the layered circuitry and air hydraulics, and the ring-like receptor at his shoulder. Removing the arm would look like it would need to be detached from the receptor, wires and metal framework too.

Chiller smiled a little.Chiller: Uh, well, it doesn't really hurt, but it is disorienting and kind of... nauseating? There's usually some memory loss, and there's a chance the transfer will go wrong and your mind will get scrambled and you'll go insane or just cease to exist. Caslon: Mmm. I'm not worried about electrocution at this point- your arm has been drained of power. She glanced up at Caracura, who shrugged.Caracura: It was sparking and damaging him further. Caslon: If putting you under is what Ash does, than that's what we should do. Does the stuff that works on humans work on you too?

Tranquilizer sometimes, and anesthetic.

The room was quiet for a moment as the robots froze. Jannon stared at Artemis with horror. The sand in Chiller's pockets shot out as spikes. The foremost spike aimed for his head, the second for his heart. Both shots grazed him, pushed at the last moment to be slightly off. The rest were blocked. On one side, by Caslon, on the other, by Caracura.
Caracura: Chiller. Get. Out.
Chiller fled, but turned to Artemis before she left the room, screaming at him as tears fell.
Chiller: You'll be happy to know that will happen to me! I'm a Beta, so my fate is sealed! We die so they may live!
She gestured to the other robots in the room before leaving and slamming the door.
