You're not a dork at all  You can't move pb clothes out of closets normally - having them in a gallery is rarer than having them on a pet  I KNOW 8D That's why I did it XD Just like how some players attached the Petpetpet Comb as a Petpet when it was first released.  |

Ah yeah, someone posted about this to /r/neopets (Reddit) last night. Especially bad since the ice lolly is not a stock image, but by a food photographer which can be found here. I think someone has e-mailed him to let him know his image has been plagiarised. *Sigh* Can they just learn their lesson already? :/ I saw the ice lolly and yikes. I think the staff needs to rethink who they hire as artists... Can they learn their lesson? But that's blasphemy! That would require them admitting that they did something wrong when - as we're well aware - it's aaaaall just a "coincidence" /s Someone should really tell them that the Neopets IP or even Jumpstart/Knowledge Adventure itself is neither big nor influential enough to make a lawsuit ~go away~. |

No, there wasn't. I hope JS reverses this one, as frankly being able to advertise your entry in multiple places has always been the only thing stopping the BC and CC from being entirely based on the popularity of the person submitting.

For real. If it's just on that board... the better known artists will win. Either that or the ones who advertise the most on the BC. Yeah, that's a poor choice of words. Not everyone has access to the Premium boards, so those that do have the advantage. I haven't been to the other two boards before, but I'm pretty sure that the Art and Spotlight boards go by very quickly that it will be a struggle just to advertise with all the competition. For those that can be on all day, they'll have the advantage.

For those that can be on all day, they'll have the advantage. Spotlight is very quiet and beauty contest is busy during the peak times, usually the first day. Rabbit has told me that it calms down after that, though. And charter? Well... It's quiet there, but I won't hesitate to admit that charter members tend to vote for each other. They're really nice people there, though. I've enjoyed chatting with them over the years. |

Yeah, the Art Chat does slow down as the contest goes on. Still, that doesn't make advertising on the Art Chat very easy (I always have the Art Chat on a separate tab when advertising). Besides, not a lot of people can advertise on the Art Chat as much as others are.

Viacom was never draconian enough to try and control what we do outside of Neopets like that provided we weren't inviting other people on Neopets to join us offsite. That's why I feel like they're butthurt over something to suddenly make that a rule. Advertising here or on Reddit is no different than advertising in a guild on Neopets. Carolyn : Wait the av has been released? o.o I didn't see anything about that on the news page, then again I don't read it all that closely these days. What is the requirement for getting it? |
