I realize that Thanksgiving is nearly over, but that doesn't mean we can't be thankful!
What are you thankful for?
My Thankful List, not necessarily in order: 1.) The big, obvious ones. My savior, Jesus Christ. Family and friends who love and care for me. For all the extra "stuff" God had given me. 2.) Health, and no problems 1.5 years (wow) after my hip replacement. I hardly even think about it now, except in positive terms. 3.) My parents, who celebrate 46 years of marriage this weekend. 4.) NTWF! I've had so much fun here since I discovered this site. I may not post all that often, but I love it here, and I got my first article published in the NT, thanks to NTWF.

My Thankful List: 1.) My partner. He is always helping me and there for me, even though I'm a big grump. 2.) My mum, for putting a roof over both our heads and hardly ever complaining about it. 3.) My eyesight not getting any worse, and for having had no colds or illnesses for about a year! That's all I could think of, also I'm British so I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but I wish all the American NTWF members a happy one.

Canadian Thanksgiving is at a different time, but I'll join in too! I heard a saying once that went: Gratitude is the root of all virtue. (Something like that, anyway.) I really liked the idea. I'm nervous about making a list, because I feel like I always leave something out when I try, but here goes (in no particular order): - My parents, for giving me a happy childhood and stable home. We've moved around a lot, but the home, as a safe space to return to, was always there. - My brother, for his sense of humor. - My professors, for broadening my horizons. - My neighbours, for arguing with me (productively! XD) and giving me companionship. - My health. - My financial stability. - The beautiful campus where I live and study. There is beauty in the most mundane of walks, to and from classes.

No Thanksgiving around these parts, but I'm thankful nonetheless. I'm thankful for; -My entire family, who are brave and wise and so very dear to me. We're flawed, but we're flawed together and we'd be nothing without one another. -My friends, who are few but precious. -My health, for never letting me down. -Knowledge, which I treasure. -My university, who is opening doors for me and so many others. -Our peaceful lives. - My country, that I wish and plan to leave soon, but that has sheltered my family and given us prosperous lives ever since arrival.
