Six years ago, the proud kingdom of Kyth gained a new ruler. A prince long thought lost but raised among the commonfolk came forth in a time of death and turmoil, and brought not only hope in the midst of tragedy but a new insight and plans that would bring together the distanced social classes of the kingdom. Though many were wary of their new king, his companions, and their ideas, they ultimately worked together to bring Kyth into a new age of prosperity.
But not everyone is satisfied with the changes. In distant manors, some proud nobles grumble about the strange new ideals and rules of "Galateo the Peasant King." And in shadowed alleys, some old members of the group that helped him rise whisper that their cohorts have gone soft; that the nobility needs to be... dealt with, in harsher ways.
For six years, these rumblings of dissent have been dampened by the contentment of a peaceful and prosperous nation. This all changes, however, when the neighboring kingdom of Courdon gains a new ruler of its own. The rising king of Courdon is vicious and without mercy, and his new quest for a grand empire brings fresh memories of his kingdom's bloody betrayal on the day of Galateo's public discovery.
With tensions on the rise, the people of Kyth are pressuring Galateo, his advisers and his council more than ever to keep them safe and secure. Dissidents of both high and low classes are coming forth to call him weak, and challenge his ability to handle a crisis. The bonds that have been so carefully built between the people of Kyth are beginning to strain, and if they break it could mean the end of everything the nation has built.
For if the power-hungry Courdonians don't destroy Kyth, the rumored rise of a new and terrible peasant rebellion just might. Hey everyone! As you can see here, I've got an idea for a Medieval fan-sequel that takes place a few years after the events of the original roleplay. This concept is still a bit of a work in progress, so the plot you see above might change a bit before I'm ready to start posting the story up. It'll actually take a little while for me to get to the writing part in any case (I'm in the middle of a series right now, and trying to work on two writing projects at once generally turns out poorly), but I figured putting this up now would give me plenty of time to plan and prepare 8D Speaking of which, this is where you guys come in -- that's right, it's character permissions time! If you're okay with me using your characters in this fic, just post here to let me know! If there are any restrictions you have in using anyone, or anything you want me to know about your character six years down the line (like marriages or children that have happened in that time *looks pointedly at all the ships*), please post that as well. I'd love to include as many characters as reasonably possible, but there are a few who are more likely to be in the spotlight based on the general setting of the story, so I'd especially like to have them available. These are characters (not counting those I've already got permission for via Skype) played by: Avery, Gelquie, Lizica (ESPECIALLY Aldrich, for obvious reasons), icon, Birdy, Tiger, Killix, LizzieList of approval:

You have permission to use my character.
Elin will be ~22, and might well be married and have kids by that point in the future, but still be working on the Council.

You can definitely use Leif ^_^ I don't know if six years is enough for Leif or Kirin to have figured out how to /been dragged by their friends to ask the other to marry them (they are super-awkward okay), so best of luck with that ;D And super-late edit but everyone else is giving their future!ages so, Leif would be thirty-one.

You can have any of my characters. Kelcey is still ghost'ing it up, Lydia still works at the inn. Briar and Arthur are married-- at least six years in the future I'm guessing they'd have 2-3 of their eventual 4 kids (so that would be, in age order: Aldrich, Posy, and maybe a verrrry young Elise, with Levi not born likely for a few more years). Not sure what would have become of the younger Kidde girls but I doubt you'd use them anyway? But if so just ask me and I can think up something for their present state. XD
Not sure about Courdon's new king Oliver (who becomes king about 6 1/2 years from round 12/12.5 timeframe) and his family situation. He's 15 at the time of Malik's death so would be in his early twenties. I'm guessing he's married with possibly a child or two. If for whatever reason you need more on him, again, just bug me and I'll think up more details. x3

you can so use the princesses!
Hope will be ~22 ish? (In the epilogue shes 16 tho in the main rp she's 15) is obvi married to Joffrey, she'd probably have had the first two or three kids (in order: Everett, Joseph, Leland(boys)-- Ashton, Ramsey,(all boys) and Fate Destiney(girl) are all later) 8D
Cloudey will be 20 or 21 (she's 14 in main rp, 15 in epilogue) and is married to Lord Jonah, of house Brachyura. She'll probably have at least the first kid if not the second (Siren (boy), Star (girl)-- Storm, Sandy (girls), River (boy), Marina, Shelley (girls), Paul (boy) will be later)
Harmoney will be 16/17 (10 in rp/11 in epilogue) is married to Lord Tarantula of house Arach. She likely doesn't have any kids yet (she'll be 16/17) but she'll prolly be pregnant with her first (Alexandra (girl)-- Brenner, Spencer (boys), and Farah (girl) will come later)
Aura and Karma will be 14/15 (they're 8 in rp/9 in epilogue) and unmarried. That makes things easy 8D

As I said on Skype, you have permission to use any of my characters. =D
Xavier will be ~25-ish? Probably married to Elin, maybe with kids. He'll be a pretty good mage at that point (having been a student of Leif for a while, maybe even still), and probably still working with House Jade in Medieville. Probably still closest with Elin (obviously), Ilsa, Leif, and Ambrose (who he considers as close as a father) but he'll probably also have other friends at this point and generally a lot more confident about getting close to people. Oh, yeah, and he's also pretty close with Lydia, they've bonded over their shared experiences =w=
Ilsa's still running the King's Arms, with Lydia and Kelcey working for her. Still friends with Clare Ryer, and also pretty good friends with Morgaine by this point. She has discovered that she loves cats.
Duval... probably still alive and horrible, ruling the Courdonian province of Talvace with an iron fist. Not as influential as he was in Malik's reign but still pretty powerful. I get the sense (though you'd want to verify with Carrie) that Oliver does not really trust him. At all. Idk if you need him, but he's there if you want him. (Canonically his death will be getting strangled to death by a slave in his sleep... I picture this happening later than when your story is set, but if you need something to increase unrest in Courdon and want to edge it earlier, I lay it out for your consideration. XD)

You want character permissions, I will gladly give character permissions =D I have no idea what Aines is up to, but considering that six years have passed if he's not dead he's probably at least pretty definitely retired, so you're welcome to approach him however you want. Millian is likely off doing her own, poety thing. Maybe in Medieval? Or maybe not. Who knows.

Davorin is technically dead after 6 years. So... Yep. Not a whole lot of help there from my side XD
He disappeared four years after the RP when Death came for him.
(Not sure if Kari went along with him or not... Haven't decided.)

You can use my characters if you have a place you want to put them.
(Except Ancel, 'cause he's deader than dead and such.)
Kaldora probably looks exactly the same and, at this rate, probably would have been just wandering purposelessly around the world, still popping in periodically to keep tabs on what's going on (and try to intervene if something massive happens, especially if it involves timey-wimey). Not sure if she'd have gotten to know anyone else well enough for them to find out her sooper-seekrit identity, but things can happen if it's convenient for the plot.
Duskglimmer would probably be a full-out black tiger by this point, or at least not a kitty.
The Marsons would probably be up to their usual shenanigans as epic Jade hosts, even if it doesn't involve furniture-breaking anymore.

I dunno how much practical use you'd get out of them since they're not involved in politics, but you can use Morgaine and/or Sieg if you'd like.
Morgaine by this point is 53/54, probably still alive although if for dramatic reasons you want to say she died in the interim knock yourself out I guess. Her hair would be mostly grey by now with very little black left in it, and I imagine she's probably starting to develop arthritis in her hands. She's still missing her left eye and still stubbornly refuses to cover it up with any sort of bandage or eyepatch because she thinks they make her look doofy. She'll either have an apprentice or be looking for one since someone eventually needs to take over the lockmaking half of LockKey's business and Rosalie isn't interested. (The identity of her hypothetical apprentice is a question mark, do whatever you like with that.) As Elcie stated, she'd have become pretty good friends with Ilsa by this point, possibly also Clare. She's also on friendly terms with Leif, Kirin, and Xavier after they rescued her since they still live in Medieville. She absolutely does not like Kelcey and does her best to ignore/avoid him when she visits Ilsa a the inn. XD
Sieg is 34/35. Definitely still alive and still doing his thing as a knight. He spends most of his time in Nid'aigle (which is in Corvus towards the middle along the Elacs border- PM me if you want the exact location, I dotted it on our map a while back.) Still single (he's aromantic) and childless, he's become very good friends with Orrin and the two of them occasionally go out on knight-adventures together. He's also maintained a friendship with Leif, Morgaine (duh, she's his mom) and considers Rosalie like a younger sister. If Morgaine has died he'd be pretty sad about that, but not broken like he would have been if it'd happened before his character development in the story. He'd have a vested interest in anything going on with Courdon since the Courdonians like to raid Nid'aigle for Elvish slaves
There is also Sieg's sister Ophelia, who's important in his life but never showed up in this story. (She's in the Fault and Blame fics though.) I don't know if you'd have any use for her but if so PM me and I'll add some info about her to this post.

I've already given you permission but I thought I should say what the Stallion Brothers would have been doing in the six-year interrim, since everyone else is detailing their characters. The answer is really not much. xD
Ambrose would be 59, still advising Aldrich and inventing nifty things, though by this point he probably has a few new inventions under his belt. He'd be a lot more confident in his advising and be quite happy to assist Aldrich, though he'd still get visions and avoid public events. He might have started wearing glasses by this point (aforementioned new invention) but that doesn't really impact much. His time magic would have remained as uncontrollable as ever but he would have learned to cope with it.
Alain would be 61 and still being the Grand Duke of Bern and being awesome, though at this point he might be slowing down slightly. He'd be accepting help from his daughter and heir, Isabelle, who would be married with kids at this point. If you need a character for her, PM me and I'll describe her for you, since right now she doesn't have much. But she might be important if you're bringing Alain in for some reason.
