You can do that? o.o How? I know, Mike. You can steam stuff in a microwave *insert instructions here* Don't you think that might be the problem? I smash things bigger and tougher than you daily, tyro. Pez: Please calm down, Rockwell... Here, lemme grab a screenshot of my Habi: I use decorations to block them in so they don't walk back and forth between the storage and don't move about every harvest cycle - they can do nothing but work. I put decorations over their square too so pests can't spawn in their sectioned off area. I used to have it so that my workers were Pinchits and Mootixes while all the soldiers were Larkins, but there's not much point in me bothering with that any more. :'v *tears form in his eyes* But I'm a microwave! why do you have the ability to cry "Tyro"? What's that supposed to mean? I should just take him back home... I'm so sorry about this, he insists on being antisocial. I'm antisocial? *raises his arm, which has a few dents in it* I'm not the one who did this! Yes, but it could easily have been avoided if you'd just listened to me and behaved yourself... >.> but... how does that work? don't they have to be able to get to the storage units to deposit stuff? I've been operating under that impression this whole time XD; screenshot of my habi: note: there's some glitch or something that makes it so I can't build anything behind my flower what decorations can I put down that my petpetpets can walk on but pests can't spawn on? exactly, Mike! Microwaves are handy for all kinds of cooking! Including steaming c: A tyro is a child. Your body may be adult, but your mind is underdeveloped. Pez: I'm sorry too, I should have known better than to leave Rockwell.

Pez: I'm sorry too, I should have known better than to leave Rockwell. Nope! They don't actually have to physically go to the storages at all. Resources automatically get put in. By sectioning P3s off or even just blocking access to the storages, it helps decrease lag and increases the amount of EXP you get over time because they don't have to bother with the walking animations. As for not being able to put anything behind the flower, for some reason you can't put things there when you have eggs in nests. Next time you're harvesting eggs, try putting something there before you put the nesters back. As for the decorations, I've just been using the dandelion puff things because they're thin and don't restrict my view of the P3s. I put the P3s in their squares first and then put the dandelions over them afterwards, but if I want to put more P3s in the square, I have to move the decoration first. *tears dry instantly* You mean... I can do two things? *points his buster at Rockwell again and steps towards her* Why don't you say that to my- *picks Snake up and puts him over his shoulder* Hey- put me down, you fat moron! I'll take him back to the house. I'm sure Metal will be pleased to learn of what he's been up to. >.> Don't you dare-

Okay, so I'm going to have to put down decorations again every time I rest the workers and put them back? Why do you only have workers on some of the resources? Yes, Mike, you can c: With this! *produces tuperware* just put water in the bottom and your can steam stuff! Only works in microwaves. Go on, tyro, go home. Maybe someday you can play with the big kids. Pez: Rockwell! You're not helping the situation!

And I only have them collect stone, wood and mud because it's all you need. All grass, pollen and water really does is pay for food, which is unnecessary when you have fully upgraded houses, because they completely heal P3s at a much faster and more reliable rate. *holds his arms out and makes grabby hands at the tupperware* *tries to free himself from Wood's grip* Let me go- Wood, put me down or so help me I'm going to let Heat run amok in your room- Keep talking, Snake, keep talking. Metal's going to hear all of it. =_= *gives an apologetic look to Pez and Rockwell and starts to head off, arm securely around his smaller brother* Ought to just bring Needle along next time, he'd keep you in check...

Yeah, noticed that. But can't you wear down a resource from harvesting too much from it? *hands over the tuperware* ... Pez: Stop that. Not that I'm aware of. The only things that can damage resources are pests. :'> *grabs it, opens his door and chucks it in* How long do I cook it for? whelp Wood's gonna be off snitching on his brother DICE TIME 1-26 goddangit 'Sup.

Oh. So it turns out I've been playing the game wrong the entire time ^^; What about the buildings? Can the soldiers repair them without being physically near them? Depends on the vegetable. Usually only a few minutes. Do you have any presets? Pez: Oh, uh, hey there! Please tell me you didn't see any of that. Hello.

Yo PFA B^U Oh. Hello. Sometimes mine will do the animation despite not being near them, but usually I have to move the buildings around so the Soldiers can get at them if I want to repair them. Well, if I'm not feeling lazy, I mean. Normally I just repair buildings with seed hammers because I'm too impatient to get them all individually repaired, even if it gives EXP. v(@w@)v ...What's a preset See what, how awesome I am? well that didn't take long

re: Habitarium, there's a really swell guide that goes over most of these tips and tricks, so you can check that out for the, uh, one or two days we have left with the game. <_< (also, for some reason they can repair buildings that have at most an extra square of separation between them, eg. over mud or a branch)

I seeeee. This has been most helpful, thank you. A preset is.. *one explanation later* Pez: I guess not. ... It's a bit late for this now because I have no idea how long we even have left with Habitarium but I FIND THINGS EASIER TO EXPLAIN THROUGH EXAMPLE THAN ACTUAL EXPLANATION so here is a quick little video showing what I normally do when I'm getting my Habi set up :'y You don't actually need Barracks but I bought a few when trying to lower the amount of stone I had (I like to have equal amounts of the 3 resources durnit) and figured that eh, they're unnecessary but it'd make it easier to keep track of my Soldiers, so that's why I have 'em. @v@ All the decorations are there to stop pests from attacking workers and resources. I try to have as much space free as possible so there are more areas for purple gems to spawn. ... What, did you kill someone or something? That would've been entertaining, heh.

I've started switching to using nests instead of decor to block pests, since that seems to have stopped the glitch where there's clearly a pest but the soldiers just stand there with question marks over their heads until it goes away. I tried boxing a soldier in, as some guides recommended, but it didn't help. Later when I was harvesting eggs I lifted a nester to discover an egg had been killed. Its status read as "empty" and the egg had a jagged edged hole in the top :c I really wish Habi wasn't going away. I will miss my little Mootix squad. But at least they gave us fair warning, so we can make to most of the game while it's still around. I was so excited when I finally reached level 50 (how in the world did you manage to do that so fast?!). I thought I would finally be able to get all those nice Neo things I've always wanted. Just my luck I only get to play on level 50 for a week xp *ends up watching Percy's breakfast adventure too* no Percy stop No one you knew. Pez: What? No, no! She didn't kill anyone! Wanna hear what presents I got for my birthday?

I could roll a character, but you know what, I feel like playing with Elin today.
Brain: Shouldn't you be doing homework?
...Yes. *Shoves her in anyway while I get my books out.*
Elin: *Looks around.*
Well, at least you don't look terrified anymore.
Elin: I got a chance to look around. You're right; it is just a city.
Told you.
