I did not know we were ending on the hour D: I can't. In any case, my count for the ten minutes was 480. “Really? That’s your solution to everything?” Norman eyed the cloth skeptically but was too relieved at the solution to his temporary problem to complain too much. “Thanks,” he breathed, relaxing. As soon as the worry of being seen with a giant moustache was quelled, several popped up in its place like a horde of Sillie Daisies. “What if Ms. Wyndham doesn’t like the mask? I could ask for the day off, but she doesn’t like it when I do that, especially not on such short notice. She might not believe I’m sick enough to have to leave and then she might take the mask off altogether!”
Lenora burst out laughing. “What?!” Norman snapped, his ears flattening. “This is no laughing matter!” The Aisha tried her best to compose herself, but alas, her best was not very much at all. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, it’s just that I can’t understand a word you’re saying under all of that fur and the medical mask. I do owe you a favor or two, so I’ll help you out today. You head right home, and I’ll take care of Ms. Wyndham. I’ll meet you there later today before I head to work today.” Norman nodded and fled the cluttered storage room via the emergency exit.
“Hmm…” Lenora wondered, scratching her head and eyeing the still-bubbling mixture Ms. Wyndham was brewing. “It made his moustache super long and soft…”
As if on cue, a Kougra in a business suit strode into the cluttered room without even noticing the Aisha was there. “What’s happened to my experiment?!” she gasped, not breaking her stride or increasing her speed in approaching the cauldron. “It’s changed…” she gasped, making sure that her face did not change its expression. “Did you have something to do with this?!” She growled and whirled around, suddenly noticing the Aisha.
“Who, me?” Lenora batted her eyelashes. “I don’t even work here and technically, Uni’s Clothing isn’t a direct competitor. There’s no way I’d want to sabotage such an upstanding and respectable CEO like you.” Her voice was a Honey Potion. “And Norman? There was something in that potion that made him unwell. It may be the fumes, you know.” Lenora looked around the box-scattered room with an eye as innocent as a Baby Aisha. “You might want to get some ventilation in here.”
“Hmph.” Ms. Wyndham straightened, nodded, and strode right out of the room again.
As soon as Ms. Wyndham’s back was turned, Lenora ran over to said cauldron, pulled out a large quantity of Gnorbu wool, and dipped it into the mixture. She was careful enough not to get any of it on her lest her paw turned extremely large and soft as well. Lenora did not need a soft paw; there was already Tyrela the Wocky for that.
Just then, the wool began to grow and hum violently in her paws This story is way too much fun to write.

Eep, sorry, I thought we were ending on the hour. <_< I'll stop writing now. Good thing I checked back here. And my count is... 111, yay! But at least it's something. Haha, yours sounds like a very interesting story. xD I look forward to seeing it in the Times! Yuezhi picked up a pair of tongs at her side and used them to hold the shell in the embers. Hyren leaned in to watch as the flat piece of bone began to heat and splinter, hairline cracks forming in and around the characters the Faerie had inscribed.
Suddenly, the writing glowed a brilliant purple, and the embers flared up into a pillar of twisting orange flame and violet magic. Hyren let out a cry of surprise and jerked back, pulling Blynn with him. The pillar swirled and contorted like it was being buffeted by nonexistent winds, and streams of magic corkscrewed out and bounced off the walls like wayward Lightmites. Chinese history + Neopets = love. We should do this again sometime! I have to go run errands and stuff, but I should be back this afternoon (evening for you). Maybe I can do more word warring then. It seems to help a lot!

... Man, I'm the least productive author ever. xD But I guess some words is better than no words.

And lol, it won't be in the Times for a few months, I should say. I just barely finished the first part of that saga.

Okay, maybe in a little bit (a couple of hours or so?). I have to eat lunch and then run a couple of errands. I'll get back to you here when I return. How long would you be available for? I kind of want to try a longer word war, something like an hour or two. I find I can focus better on my work when I can concentrate on it for longer periods of time.

An hour? *is in class so uh…nope xD but when I get bored I do write and draw and do other stuff* I get interrupted every two seconds at home so I've never tried for an extended periods of time. I'd love to try that when I'm at a coffee shop or something OvO Before your suggestion the longest word war I've engaged in lasted 15 minutes. How about you guys?

Well, I guess in a longer word war the focus wouldn't be so much on doing nothing but writing, but rather saying to yourself, "Self, writing is going to be our highest priority for the next hour or so, but if other stuff interrupts that's okay". I dunno. Maybe that's just the way I work. After all, wars are not won with a single battle. But I also have only engaged in one word war before this thread, so I could be looking at it all wrong. Maybe I need word... campaigns?

Half an hour is the longest I've gone, but I'd love to do an hour long one sometime. I usually do repeated fifteen minute stretches, though.
I might be up for some more around 7-8 P.M. (4-5 P.M. NST). I've been cleaning all the things because it feels like spring here, and I promised to do dinner tonight.

I'll see if I'm up for it. Got too much sun today and now my head's filing a complaint. I kind of just want to go back to bed.
I should be available tomorrow morning, though.

Hey, anybody up for some word warring this afternoon? I've got some time to kill at the computer and I figure I might as well spend it writing. We can go for as long or as short as you want.
