I love the updated picture! I think the background looks fantastic! I love how fluffy the clouds look, and the sort of lens-flare effect is really cool! I think the grass you added frames everything nicely, too!

Sort of similar to Ginz ❤ , I've been experimenting with lineless art using my best model, Zathandria :3 This is probably the most I've done with this style of art, and I'm really proud with how it turned out for my first time. I plan on putting a background in later, but for now I'm going to leave it like this as there are other projects to get to. I added a background! Now, here is where I may benefit from a little critique. I'm wondering if the background works well, or if it's too empty. I considered adding a palm tree, and I may if it turns out the picture looks barren, but I also sort of like the isolated feeling. For me, the beach is best when I'm alone and it's quiet, and this picture seems to emulate that. But then I also wonder about the contrast and if I need some more dark colors or not. If that's the case, then the emptiness may be hurting the picture, but I just don't know. If you have any opinions on that or something else, I'd appreciate any tips or thoughts :3 EDIT: Updated the picture with (hopefully) better sand, and I also added some grass Love the slight change! Yes, I think the sand looks a lot less stark now compared to the rest of the drawing, which is great! I'm trying to imagine Zathandria enjoying herself at the beach, and I'm mostly getting pictures of her sitting under a giant umbrella looking displeased at something. XD Ah...

Ginz ❤ Zoey Thanks! ^^ Frankly, looking back I think the sand was a necessary improvement, so I'm glad it turned out good I'm also playing with double layers for a darker color, and I added a bit more grass to separate the hill and sea better. Haha, she probably would sulk in a corner X) Zathandria at home: What's so wrong with living somewhere that isn't perpetual winter?? Zathandria at the beach: Ugh, it's so hot and noisy, and there's people everywhere -.-

Since I'm hoping to enter her in the BC soon, I made up a fancy picture of Cherry. It started out with inspiration from Art Nouveau and a focus on clean line art, and it ended up looking something like a tapestry X) This is the stopping point that I came to today, but I'm open to any suggestions on how I might improve this piece, especially in regards to the border and its colors as that's where I feel the most iffy XP

Here's a gift I made for a Neo friend to celebrate the recovery of their account, featuring their Zafara, Alyssa Nightsworn (I believe Rabbit ♠ made a similar gift, just goes to show how you have connections with everyone on that site X3)

I love my characters <3 And also I just needed an updated picture for my DeviantArt page X) One of these days I should actually pull up a picture of myself to see if my drawings are accurate XP we're a family of fruit loopsAlso, I've been playing around a bit with both line art and Photoshop brushes recently, so why not fulfill a few art requests in the process? These pets were found at the Art Agency, a usermade art request center at Neopets. Any artist can come in and fulfill a request, so these are some quick pictures I made for it. solsticeism the grey Kacheek SpiderTje_89 the UC Darigan Peophin

Y'all be doin' requests of each other! XD But omg, I LOOOOOVE Theodaxx!!! The pose, expression, and wow DEM LINES and shading are clean, man. Also who gave the crazy guy a mushroom? Mushrooms are the last thing he needs to be on; he's crazy enough without them. And love the space-y action background! Ralazza looks ultra peaceful as well, and I see you did her lineless! ^.^

Zoey Yup, with all my extra time before school starts, I just did a random array of requests for strangers and friends XD I might pick them up again soon, but for now I'll be taking a break until I at least move into my dorm Yay, thank you, I'm glad you like the lines and shading! I've been trying to improve specifically on clean line art lately as that's probably my favorite part of an art piece. And then shading, of course, is always good to get better at because I don't do it often enough X) Yeah, I'm starting to notice that lineless is a good route to go for a quicker picture as I don't have to get too anal with the line art X) Plus, I can experiment more with color mixing and shading, so it's been fun to play with :3

A big thank you to Duke Pikachu for dipping Deuteros_II into the Rainbow Pool to finally transform her into a beautiful alien Aisha! Like, seriously, thank you so much As a little gift, I wanted to show him (and the rest of y'all) my working design for Deuteros (hm, image came out smaller than I imagined) She's influenced by the American flapper girls of the 1920's, and her dress is actually one that I own. I drew it before right here. So, once more, thank you so much I luff my space flapper girl :3

So many art things, so little time! With two art classes this semester, I've been able to produce a sizable amount of drawings these past few months. However, a lot of them are either incomplete, or in my opinion, not yet presentable, so hopefully by December I'll have a greater number to share X) For now, though, I wanted to show some of the highlights so far. WIP Charcoal drawing on 18x24 drawing pad. This was for my foundation drawing class, and with a provided still life, we had to personify the items in some way. This is a lamp, pedestal, and bamboo stalk creating a lighthouse on a cliff. Graphite on 22x30 drawing paper One of the large projects for drawing class with the prompt of "inspirational." This is based off of a screenshot from the music video for Keri Hilson's "Pretty Girl Rock," as this project came around the time I discovered and fell in love with the song X) It's mostly done, but I do want to add some more shading to her face, as it's rather subtle right now. Very obviously WIP, graphite on 18x24 drawing paper An observational drawing based on a photo of a fellow classmate. There's still a lot of work to be done on this one, but I still wanted to share it because I think she's turning out well :3 Micron Pens and Graphite on 22x30 drawing paper Another large project, although this one isn't done yet, in my opinion. The wings still need work, and I want to further exaggerate the blacks around the words and figure. The prompt for this one was "sketchbook compilation," so we had to combine a number of different drawings in our sketchbook into one. Pretty sure it's fair to say that this represents my art in a nutshell X3 Also, in the spirit of Halloween... It's not finished (as you can see with the tail), but unfortunately the pumpkin started to rot before I could get any further XP Most of it turned out how I hoped, though, so I'm still happy with the final product XD The carving is based off of this (quickly sketched) lovely lady, Bloody Mary! She's actually my other character design based off of a Lady Gaga song, but since I didn't know how she'd fit into Hero City, I decided not to go with her X)
