So, the intention for me had been to write yesterday once I was at my secondary abode. But well... keyboard crashed (as it does about every other week on Sunday night), so no writing. And today... well, I could claim that I wrote a full quota, even 2k, if not for the fact that almost 1k of what I wrote was for the October short story, but well, that one is due on Thursday, so yeah... Hello to being behind. Oh, and Josh's parts are still not that much better to write than they were earlier in the month. Well, a bit easier since he is no longer all whiny, but he is still so insecure.

Apparently being behind (with no other story requiring to be written with a deadline pending) is the key to writing more. I wrote 2.1k today, which for an ordinary workday is great. Even more so when the lure of addictive fanfiction is still around. (I am so weak-minded when it comes to addictive fanfiction and apparently I'm cursed to find a fantastic writer of such fanfiction almost every year in late October.) Or it was just that I got to write Liam today?

1.8k today and for the first time writing Josh was comparatively easy. But well, he is finally telling all about his life with Allan, while having actually told him 'no'. Weird moment today was however when I discovered that somewhere in the dialogue between Josh and one of his peers from change ringing I had started writing Liam instead of Josh... I hope this does not mean anything other than my being a tad tired.

1.1k today only. Don't know why, but somehow I couldn't get myself to write more. I finished telling about Allan and just couldn't start the Liam part as the notes I have on that one are only worth 150 words at this point, which means usually that while writing I'd come up with the rest of the scene to take it to ten times as many words if not more. And somehow my brain is not up to that.

Somehow never got around to writing yesterday. Not a single word... so today I was terribly behind. Luckily my local chapter was meeting for Mid-NaNo, so I went there and managed 4.7k today. And just as I expected, while Josh is now getting to the point where writing him is relatively painless, Liam is now realizing the trouble he is, so now it's a bit of a reversal where I like Josh and don't like writing Liam. *sigh*

Sundays are absolutely not working for me this year. I already experienced it with Camp, so it shouldn't be so surprising to me that it doesn't work in November either, but it's really annoying. Yesterday was a prime example. I got up at a reasonable time (for a Sunday that is), didn't dawdle too much to get the ironing started and done, doing some laundry besides, even started dinner preparations with not too much delay... and then it suddenly dawned upon me that I still needed to 1) remove the summer tires from the car trunk and place it in my basement compartment, 2) pay a visit to the PRS to pick up a book I had won, 3) all the usual stuff of cleaning up, packing, hitting the road and yeah... got to my secondary abode so late and without proper research done for the next part of the story that there was no way I would even get a decent line written. Today I managed 2.1k, but am once more stuck with a scene and need to take a look at it tomorrow with fresh eyes to see how I can make Liam's scene worthwhile.

1.2k does not really mean I'm catching up, but at least I finished the Liam scene. As I'd have to do some research before writing the next Josh scene, I won't get anything more written tonight anyway, so I'll leave it to that. And 1.2k is always better than not writing at all.

2.2k today. Definitely better than yesterday. Found some interesting anecdote to use in today's Josh scene and even Liam was surprisingly easy, but then again I finally allowed my two characters to voice for the first time how they really feel about each other. Okay, those 2.2k also make up a complete chapter and given that this was already chapter 9 out of the 12 chapters the story will have I more and more think that this year my story will not last for 50k, but well... I have enough additional projects I can even tie in with the NaNo-story to further my word-count in the end. Like the November short story... I'll just have Liam write something along the line for his NaNo-project in the November chapter. Though the official November chapter will only give the rough overview, while the short story on this topic will be written once I've reached the famous words 'The End'...

About 2k today. Which means I'm only 1 day behind right now. Not bad... Now I just have to make myself write tomorrow as well and I might actually stand a chance to see myself up to par after Saturday! Or even ahead! Now that's a great thought! Today's greatest challenge was to write about a movie which definitely is awesome, but where I only have trailers on youtube and articles on the internet available as resource, as unfortunately there is not yet a date set when this movie is actually getting to be shown in cinemas here. (As I am having my story take place this year for date references, I was actually looking up which movies would be available for my character for the intended cinema visit in the Octobre chapter and 'Like father, like son' was to me the best choice. And now I really, really, really want to watch that movie, yet can't!)

1.4k only today, but considering that I didn't write a single word the last two Fridays I'm actually happy with what a wrote. Yes, I had intended to make it at least to 35k today, seeing me behind only one day, but I just finished a really important chapter and it ended with an intense telling of the ritual for Liam, that I'm simply not able to focus on a light-hearted Josh scene now. Also, I'm quite tired, and I'd rather not push on only to rewrite the whole of the new chapter tomorrow because it's so crappy that I can't stand it or even write on with this being on the page. But wohoo, Liam will be actually meeting Josh in the next chapter, live and in colour and such

Remember my comment about forgotten things getting between me and writing on Sundays? Yesterday it was exactly the same again. I realized way too late that I needed to take in my table and the two chairs from the balcony to scrub them clean in my bath tub so we can use them next Saturday, so I was again too late yesterday evening to write anything. Today I at least wrote a good daily quota of 1.7k, though not the 2k I had hoped for. But it's getting late and I am tired of messing with my sleeping schedule too much. So it'll have to do.

Almost 2.2k. Today also saw the end of the NaNo-Story, which made it somewhat bittersweet. And hard. I mean, this is a romance, so the end is supposed to see a little bit of fluffy, sappy Kitsch. Yet it always feels a bit like torture to write such stuff. Especially this year with my two protagonists. I actually ended up without a single kiss between them. And I was absolutely proud of this! So now I'm writing November short-story, which actually ties in with my NaNo since I had Liam tell Josh about the NaNo he was writing, while in reality that will be my November short. So of course that story will not have NaNo proportions, but yeah... story in the story to push me further to the 50k.

Only 1.1k today. Got stuck a bit with the story and the lack of sleep is catching up on me, so I'll rather live with being behind a bit than not being able to get up tomorrow... and the day after that... and the day after that... as that will be finish/TGIO Saturday with all of my local chapter meeting at my place. But at least I got some help with unsticking me in my writing from my good friend and long distance muse. So I am hoping for a better writing day tomorrow.

1.9k today. The story is finally picking up, but there was quite a bit invading my writing time today. But things are looking good, even if I'm a bit behind. But what's 600 words?
