The other day, I found this art meme/prompt on Twitter to create a character, and it sounded really fun, so I decided to give it a shot last night! (I went down the twitter rabbit hole trying to find a source, but the farthest I could get to was finding the person who made the image with the rules that I saw being shared, but they said that they didn't start the meme and didn't know who did, so I guess it's a mystery! XD; ) Anyway, the RULES are as follow: - hair is the color of the shirt you're wearing - their clothes are the color of your phone case - eyes are the color of your underwear - give them a hat if you live in Europe - give them earrings if you live in the Americas - add scarf if you live in Asia - add glasses if you live in Australia - add tattoos if you live in Africa - put your favorite emoji on their shirt And this is the character I drew!

Here's another study. This time I painted my Fluttershy plushie! This was in some ways easier than the headphones because the shapes didn't need to be so perfectly geometric, but it was also harder and took much longer because it's a more complex thing and has a lot more detail. I'm super proud of how it came out, though, and I had fun using different brushes to give it texture. Can I get a yay? ^_^

Recently, I did some figure drawing practice on this super nifty site: line-of-action.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/I like doing the shortest Class mode, which is just 30 minutes long. It had been a really long time since I had done it, though, so I was super rusty, and I wasn't sure about showing my results because I'm not too happy with most of them, but hey... I thought it might be good to document my progress if I do more of them in the future. The class includes poses for 30 seconds (10), 1 minute (5), 5 minutes (2), and 10 minutes (1), but I'm only posting the 5 and 10 minute ones, because the others are so quick they're not as interesting to share. cw: nudity The three on the left are from a couple of days ago, and the three on the right are from this morning. The two bigger ones are the 10 minute poses. I drew kind of lightly, especially the first day, so not all my lines were picked up by the scanner XD; I also don't like to erase anything because that takes precious time, so apologies for those ghostly extra limbs! (looking at you, top right lady)

I follow an artist on youtube, called Kasey Golden, who has a series where she makes art following prompts from a book. She encourages people to join in and drawn their own ideas and interpretations of the prompts, so I decided to give it a go this time! The prompts were skateboard, serenity, and open book. I kind of got carried away with this illustration, but I had fun! XD I didn't initially plan it that way, but it sort of turned into Harry Potter fanart. XD Also, I really like working with colored lineart. I just love the soft look it gives to my art. <3

Omg, I absolutely love it! The beautiful gradient in the twilight sky is magnificent, and I love the castle, the trees, and the silhouettes in the background. And it does look so peaceful! The concept and execution are so well done, and I love the fuzzy edges. 😊

NTWF RP character lineup! =D From left to right: Corinne Bywater (Medieval), Lindsey Lukas (Mafia III), Ginz Mahb Maphia (Mafia II), Madame Ginz (Mafia I), Danielle (Island), Dossier Dame (Hero City), Itzel Romero (Wrighton) Not pictured, but at least deserving of a mention: Leira C. Reef (Town), Dean J. Williams (Clue) Sorry you were so underdeveloped, guys. ;-; Also not pictured, the following exchange: Aster: Itzel, have you seen my sketchbook? I can't find it anywhere! D: Itzel: Oh... I'm sorry, I borrowed it to get Dossier Dame's autograph! Aster: Who? Itzel: She's a SUPERHERO! =D Anyway, this was really fun! =D Thank you Lizica for the inspiration! <3 I may color it sometime, but I'm gonna call it done for now. XD

*falls in* Wow, hello, I hadn't posted here in a while... but in my defense, I've actually been drawing plenty! Most of what I've drawn lately have been birthday presents, so you can see them here: ntwriters.proboards.com/thread/52811/draw-birthday-present-2018 (I linked to all completed requests in the first post) But anyway, I finally drew something just for fun, for myself. XD I don't remember how it first came up, but Nut and I were talking about Pokemon, and I started thinking of what Itzel's pokemon team would be like. I thought it should be made of the fluffiest of pokemon, so with Nut's help, I came up with a pretty solid team, and decided to draw it! So here is itzel's Pokemon Team! \o/ Vanillite, Froakie, Swablu, Buneary, Whimsicott and Mareep! =D (Vanillite is a reference to when Christian described Itzel as 'the girl with ice cream hair'. I found that so amusing and memorable, Nut and I reference it all the time, haha. Best description! XD) I wanted Itzel to match her team's color scheme, so she's kind of dressed up as a Hufflepuff this one time, but don't be fooled, she's a Gryffindor at heart. Anyway, this was really fun! =D EDIT: On second thought, I also saved this version, which I might like better >_>

So, this is Steph from Doodle Date, which is my favorite youtube art channel. <3 I drew her as the crockery fairy because one time she got really excited about a blue marker named light crockery blue, which she bought expressly because of its name XD And you know, one thing led to another, and 'crockery blue' became like an inside joke in the community. I think the idea of her being a crockery faerie came up on a stream once, when she showed us some fairy OCs of hers. I don't remember super well how it happened, but I had wanted to draw her like this for a while, and I finally got around to it!

I drew my DnD character! =D Her name is Dahlia and she is a Halfling Librarian Cleric. She is very book smart but she's kind of out of her element adventuring, so that's fun to explore!

Hi, hello, it's been a while! Today I bring you two character drawings First is the awesome Nyx Nightshadow, who I drew as a present for Thorn! And my newest character Alyx [Insert-Lastname], who I'm gonna be playing with for a new D&D campaign. She is a rogue, and I plan to make her an arcane trickster, because that sounds super fun! XD All I know about her so far is that she's a traveling merchant who probably comes from a very poor family, so she learned the trade to help make ends meet. She is playful and mischievous and has fun tricking people, especially doing the 'find the ball' game, for which she uses her skills so others are always wrong. She isn't above acquiring goods from questionable sources in order to resell them, and other shady things like that, but she isn't cruel or evil, just morally grey. You gotta do what you gotta do to survive!

So getting a Nyx was so nostalgic, and what a cool pose! It gives me all the feelz that you drew this even though I didn't ask for anything, thank-you. <3 (This is probably 0.3 seconds before she breaks a (boot) heel and has to waste this cool blue energy shielding herself from the subsequent opportunistic do-gooders attacking her while she's distracted. =P)
The amulet also looks so lovely in your style! Like a big shiny gemstone, I love it.
As for Alyx: I love her! Will you be taking the Merchant background, then? Arcane tricksters are SO FUN and I hope you have a blast with this lovely! I'd love to hear about her adventures. =D (Morally grey characters are also a lot of fun- they have fewer hangups, and thus you get extra heartwarming moments when they actually do the Right Thing for a change! xP)

I've been feeling kind of unsatisfied with my art lately, in the sense that I feel like the time and effort I put into it isn't proportional to the final result? Like, you wouldn't believe how long each picture takes me, but if you did, you might find them lacking too? But I gotta remember art isn't a race, and honestly, seeing all these together in an art dump, I'm pretty happy with them. They look really nice! maybe i've just been too hard on myself.
... Really gotta work on backgrounds, though! XD;
