Wow...that was intense...D= Poor first deaths.
This sounds like a cool arena, though, I'm looking forward to see what happens with it!

Yup, sounds like me. Ditch my boardmate at the opening bell and probably try to find somewhere to hide such that most people won`t put in the effort to check if someone`s hiding there. And probably fail to do so and die about as fast as I would if this were real life. Also, no roofs might almost be a good thing, because then you can basically hole yourself inside a concrete shell with nowhere to watch out but up.

The issue with this strategy is that these are all three-storey buildings or higher. If you climbed up and found no roof, unless you planned on attempting to leap down three levels or more... you couldn't use the shell as a hiding place. XD That, and I imagine that since the insides of the shells are just smooth concrete, you'd have absolutely no way to climb back out unless you were a ninja... that is assuming, of course, that you managed to somehow make it down into the shell without breaking an ankle. >__>

I did not know this was up already. XD I caught up! Story is hilarious. Hunty's drunken antics amuse me. XD The battlefield is interesting, too. I want to see more knife-related injuries. Like, blood everywhere. 8D Guns are an efficient threat, but they're too quick to be any fun. lawl those newbies died so fast. Record time!
I want to sponsor-troll someone for my own sick amusement. Unfair advantages FTW.

Oh, crap, Jay and his cronies are good. Poor Kozma and newbies... But, we got out of there alive and together, so there is that. *hugs Sae, Carrie, Terra, and Gelquie* If we die, you were great teammates. Anticipation for tomorrow's chapter is what will kill me. Edit: Jayeee, smug much? XD

Wow, so many deaths XD; I didn't expect this many so soon! I guess they'll slow down as people find places to hide and stuff... but it should be interesting to see what happens next.
You can't hide from us forever, though.
Kidding. I'm uh, not like my character at all, I promise! XD;;;

THE SUSPENSE. In terms of the hollow buildings, I had imagined that the bricks that protruded inward on the outside would protrude towards the center on the other side as well, but then I guess the buildings wouldn't be very stable. >_> Then again, the restful night on the concrete roof eliminates any further need for speculation.
Out of curiosity, how big is Memory Lane if you can run for half an hour and not reach the edge of the arena, and then run back and find a mysterious grove you hadn't seen before? Or did the sadistic admins do some work overnight and make it appear out of nowhere?
Also, ouch. The Taco. Didn't even go with any fanfare. Offscreen moment of awesome? Or do we get to see the whole show later through the eyes of the winner(s)?

I imagine Memory Lane is fairly gigantic. I picture it as super large to begin with. Then, add in the fact that the admins have made it super confusing to navigate through, and you might end up walking in what are essentially circles without knowing it. Also, since I kind of have a picture of Memory Lane near the end of the forum, I figure the admins might have "bought" more area for the arena. :3
Offscreen moment of awesome, alas! I sort of have a picture in my head, but I couldn't think of a way for story!Carrie to know. I'm basically imagining the two of them would have paired off at the start, and when one got cut down, the other tried to help and also got killed. D:
