So a bunch of us have been playing Epicmafia, which is basically online Mafia, if you've played that before. (A lot of you are probably familiar with the game from the NTWF roleplays. xD)
Basically, the players are divided into two broad groups - Villagers and Mafia. The round is divided into two phases, Night and Day. During the night, the Mafia picks a person to kill. Then during the day, everyone tries to figure out who is guilty and votes to execute one of the players. If all Mafia are executed, the Villagers win; if the Mafia outnumber the Villagers, the Mafia wins. A single game is pretty short, maybe 5-10 minutes, though it likely takes longer with more players.
There are a whole bunch of more specific roles within those categories (and even some that are neutral); a list of those roles can be found here.
Over this past night, we've been creating closed, passworded games for NTWFers. (I haven't personally tried playing random games with strangers, but I've heard less than pleasant things about them; they're likely not to be entirely NTWF-safe. xD;) This is a thread where we can post links to our games in the future! So yeah =D Join us next game!
Players:
Terra (TerraSnow)
Carrie (carrah)
Azzie (butterflytracks)
GLQ (Gelquie)
Cassie (Flufflepuff)
Draco (endofdraco)
(Post if you want to be added to the list!)
EDIT - HI IT'S CARRIE. 8D Anyway. I thought, to be a bit easier on newbies, I might explain some of the more common roles we've been using, as there are a lot, and some of are pretty funky. This is not exhaustive, because there are dozens of possible roles; these just some of the more frequent ones we stray towards. All roles can vote for lynch during the day. Roles with an asterisk next to them (*) are the ones we use the most. Others are used on occasion.

Vanilla Roles
Villager*: Basic vanilla townsperson. Aligned with the village. Has no special powers beyond voting during Day as to who to lynch.
Mafia*: Basic vanilla mafia member. Aligned with the mafia. Has no special powers beyond voting for who to kill at Night; they also get to vote in lynchings. Mafia members will know who else is in the Mafia and meet with their fellow members in a private chat during Night.
Village Roles - it is possible to have a game with all village specials and no vanilla villagers.
Doctor: Picks one person each Night to protect. If that person is targeted by the mafia, they'll be saved and no death will occur.
Cop*: Picks one person to investigate each Night and is told if they're innocent or guilty.
Insane Cop: Picks one person to investigate each Night and is told if they're innocent or guilty-- but everything they are told is wrong. They appear as a regular cop to themselves. Insane cop is generally only used in a game with a regular cop as well, so neither of the cops will know if they're insane/regular. Upon death, appears as regular cop: 'insane' is only revealed at endgame.
Naive Cop: Picks one person to investigate each Night but is told everyone is innocent. Again, generally only used in game with a regular cop. Upon death, appears to be a normal cop; insane only revealed at endgame.
Miller: If investigated by the cop, appears guilty. If lynched, appears as mafia. When killed by the mafia, appears as true role (miller). To themselves, they look like a regular vanilla villager.
Bomb*: If killed by the mafia, will explode and take out the person who killed them. Does NOT explode if lynched.
Governor: Allowed one lynch override vote per game.
Agent: Allowed to send anonymous messages to any non-villager.
Enchantress*: Picks one person per game to "enchant" during Night. That person is given a crystal ball, and that person then chooses one person per night. When the crystal ball holder dies, the role of the last person they chose is revealed.
Oracle*: Selects one person each Night. When the Oracle dies, the last person they chose has his/her role revealed.
Lightkeeper*: If the Lightkeeper is killed, everyone appears Anonymous the next Day, and votes are hidden.
Mafia Roles - all (unless otherwise noted) vote with the mafia, and perform their additional roles on top of that. It is possible to have a game with all mafia specials and no vanilla mafia.
Silencer: Picks one person each Night who then can't talk the next Day. DOES NOT VOTE WITH MAFIA.
Actress: Visits one person per Night and learns their role. Upon death, will appear as that person's role.
Lawyer: Visits one mafia member each Night, who will then appear innocent if investigated by the Cop.
Voodoo Lady*: Chooses one person each Night as well as a cursed word. If the chosen person speaks that work the next Day, they die.
Third Party Roles - aligned with neither the mafia nor village. Independent win conditions.
Fool*: Goal is to get themselves lynched. They win if they are lynched.
Amnesiac: Visits one person in the graveyard at Night, and becomes that person's role.
Roles that should NEVER EVER BE USED
The Host: JUST DO NOT DO IT. >___>
