I'd get tons and tons of plants to fight them off. See, now if that were an option, I think I'd be pretty good with getting myself and my houseplants to some sort of farm. I mean, my imperial taro totally owes me for saving him from my mom. XD

Ooooh those plants are very beautiful! Haha, he'd make a nice shield! But I mean with offensive plants like Snow Peas and Jalapenos....what matters most is where you place them and then the plants always win...and oh goodness you can tell I'm addicted to that game...

Melon-pults are where it's at. ^_^ --- (or lawnmowers. Lawnmowers seem like a pretty valid option, too.)

Considering that most zombie outbreaks seem to start in the US (just as most aliens land in the US ) Australia might just be the last place in the world to get affected by the zombie outbreak. I mean, you guys were talking about fleeing to a small island. What about a big island? Or an island continent like Australia? We've already got a pretty stringent quarantine policy when it comes to bringing organic matter to our shores. All of this is of course assuming that zombies don't swim and their corpses don't float around and infect Aussie beaches. But then, we have great white sharks (in the south) and saltwater crocodiles (in the top north) to have a snap at the zombies... Assuming that animals can't catch the zombie virus. Ohgohd. In that case, Australia would be the worst place to get zombified

Considering how nearly everything in Aussieland will try to maul you before breakfast, how would you tell the difference?
*stereotype'd*
Islands are a good thought. My family has a farmhouse-like property on a nearby island. Even if the virus lands there, the place is in the middle of nowhere and you'd have to actively shamble into it.

I would probably die like instantly. Same here, except I'd panic first. Panic, then die. Yup.

But then, we have great white sharks (in the south) and saltwater crocodiles (in the top north) to have a snap at the zombies... See, the only problem with a whole continent-island, is that, if the outbreak does manage to catch hold in any part of the country, then it won't matter how surrounded by water Australia is. So basically the threat would be from people who maybe got scratched/minorly bitten by a zombie in another country, and then flying into Australia to escape, not knowing they've already become infected. And then once you get zombies in, it's in trouble just like any other place in the world. But if we're talking about island countries, I think the Philippines would be a good place to hide out. It's made up of thousands of islands, and it's got lots of tropical fruits and fish to eat so you won't starve.

I was looking around the internet when I saw this - seems like a perfect, anti-zombie spot to me! XD it's really, really hard getting there - you have to get cars, climb for days, be extremely well coordinated...let's go live with 'em monks, harvest our own rice and meditate! Hurrah! Let's call it the "Neopian Times Writers' Temple"!

Oooh, good idea, Dju! A monastery would have seclusion, self-sufficiency, and super-level-headed occupants (nobody suddenly going crazy and turning on the group). Bonus points if they're the kind who know martial arts, so they can defend you even after the ammo runs out!
.... Except they might not admit women. >.> No offense nuns, but you'd be cooler if you knew kung fu.

Yup, exactly like those. :3 Is their nunnery on a cliffside or other remote locale? Cuz then I think we got a winner spot.

I suppose the tricky part is getting to Nepal before everyone else gets the same idea and they're full up.
