Oh, I said something all right. ...Just maybe not the smartest thing to say in front of a General and an undead army. ^^; Anyway, this should be fun. Hopefully I'll have the chance to give Gelquie a bit of character development along the way. So far we haven't heard anything from Spacefleet. And if people remain separated and all over the world and whatnot, then I could probably introduce a Spacefleet character. (I say separated because otherwise my already-long posts will become even longer and more self-contained.) Also, sidenote for those who don't know: Gelquie in the Guilds 'verse is not a necromancer. I think she'd get too squicked out by them. I'm gonna bring the Commander into the fray pretty soon, and I PMed some of the other 'Fleeters, so hopefully you won't be talking to yourself for too long. Hmm, all ready confused a bit XD What's going on between the Castle and Mage Manor currently? XD There's kinda this undead army you might run into. So...is the portal between the Manor and the Castle actually functioning? xD And if so, is there a canon description of what it's like/how it works? Celestial told me you probably need some sort of password to be able to use it, and it transports you from the castle to somewhere a bit outside of the Manor, and vice versa. I like to imagine it as a stone archway, but that's just me. =D I am always up for (about half of) a Guilds' War! I am super excited about this. <3 Ready to jump in, just trying to think of a way to do it. Hunty, you'll be you in this roleplay as well as our friendly neighborhood antagonists, right? Yep, Hunty's gonna jump in as your stripey-haired cap'n, but first she was waiting to see what sort of a crew was still around.

Also, fair warning: anyone who tries to pick a fight with Miss Jensen at this stage is probably going to get curb stomped.

Yes, sir, Fraze. Celestial is mainly keen to find out what the heck is going on and possibly see what she can do. She's keen but not stupid. So...is the portal between the Manor and the Castle actually functioning? xD And if so, is there a canon description of what it's like/how it works? As Fraze said, you need a password. If you don't feel like making one up, it can read your mind to check that you know the password and let you through (I'll invent some kind of canon password). As for what it looks like, in the castle it would be a stone archway set into a wall with runes around it and an iron door knocker in the centre. In the Manor Gardens it would be a gazebo, again with the same runes and door knocker in the central pillar. To activate it, you stand in front of it and use the door knocker while thinking/saying the password. When the door knocker...well, knocks, there is a flash of light and you're on the other side. It will be instanteous and you won't be aware of the change until you look around if you're not expecting it. To somebody watching you, you'd just vanish with a whooshing sound. And there you go. Instant portal link, saves you a fortune on travel fees.

Also, fair warning: anyone who tries to pick a fight with Miss Jensen at this stage is probably going to get curb stomped. As much as Gelquie will want to slap her across the face, she knows that she's not a great fighter. ^^; Anyway, I'll draft up a profile for my Spacefleet character later today, though I'll have trouble pinning down his exact profession. ^^; Again though, that's later because I won't be free today until the afternoon. I'll probably also make a post at that time. And I like that idea of the portal. Bonus for the security of not having to say the password out loud so some mook bad guy can hear it. ^^

Yep, genre-savviness is a very handy thing to have sometimes and it isn't like I said it can read your mind because I can't be bothered coming up with a password on the fly, not at all.With that said, feel free to include it in the Guild War, anybody.

Just a reminder. Try not to confuse Dragus and Draco >.> I know I sort of stupidly named them similar XD;
Remember, Dragus is a Knight (with magic) and Draco is a ninja XD

Intro post ahoy!
Can't think of a convenient way to get us involved with this yet, but I'm sure one will come along soon. The weasels can be straggling back late and start happily talking about zombies? Fraze wakes up, lets us know there's trouble, and goes back to sleep?
