(...The joke is it's mostly in 3D.) Be warned, the first few pages are from a Bygone Era.

Okay, so it's just the trees at the house. But I did work on the rocks and water, and the reference is awesome.

Skateboarding Hoverboarding, sparse beard, spiky hair, Simpsons-esque facial expression, hoodie n' ripped jeans, and a big freakin' Metabee in the foreground. The only thing that would have made this cooler in Grade 3 is Yugi with a Beyblade and if Metabee was eating Dunkaroos. So I'm a reverse hipster. Sue me. ...And why do I seem to do all my work after midnight?

ZOMG Medabee! The guidelines for this board were somewhat confusing (2D and digital goes here, 3D and concrete goes on the other one), but I figure it's closer to this end. Here's a simple summary: Drawings (traditional, digital, paintings, etch-a-sketch, etc.) go here. Physical art that isn't drawn/painted such as costumes, sculptures, plushies and etc. goes in Creative Endeavors. 3D renderings aren't physical art, so yes, it goes here. :)

Since I have absolutely no inkling of desire to work on my research paper, I'm going to start working on that music video/horrific backstory I've been thinking about. Is it possible to actually make a movie file with sound play correctly on a Neopets petpage? Or show up at all, for that matter, or does it have to be animated GIF/page background music? BUT LOOKIT THIS BALL OF QT Kougo at his peak: before getting FFQ'd Robot, or Ice Bori-ified, or Mutant Scorchio transmogrified (all before customization!), and of course, before the lab (which seemed to prefer him stuck as a Lupe with a bunch of non-clothing colour changes). Most importantly, before 9 years of badly aging. This scene, and this version of Kougo, WOULD be part of the video if I knew how to implement it. The premise is basically illustrating how Talkie and Loange left their respective backgrounds (dire circumstances, naturally) and met Kougo and pre-spy Coaster; and how their "family" developed as they journeyed to a new home in Altador through the thawing moutain passes west of Brightvale and the Haunted Woods, ending with a fair bit of remorse as Loange, Izyl, and Coaster go back along the same path, this time without Talkie. On a more artsy-related note, I tried to make it look as photo-like as possible (including the "ghost" shine and the slightly modulated color) in order to compensate for my horrible lack of environment-creating skills.

Aw, that picture's adorable. <3
Anyway, your art is so awesome! I'm really digging that 3D style you have going on. ^^ It's seriously neat.

so i herd u liek demotivational posters I had an idea and figured I'd try one. It worked out like... well, see for yourself. Also put a new user-status-widget-thing on my Neo user lookup so it's more eye-catching than a wall of text.

Four-day weekend, whoo-yeah! Eil tvhda wolu bd erpudoe. And no, that's not just excited gibberish if you unscramble it.Except I still need to start that research paper ._., In lighter news, the snow is officially stuck up here in the great white southern-interior BC. No grass visible underneath. And since it's (technically past, but close enough) Remembrance Day, I figured I'd do a tribute to both. So I got Loange's childhood character done and made this flashback photo. Now I want to render a jumbo-normous version of it and make it my wallpaper (actual wallpaper, not desktop wallpaper). Man, Christmas is awesome. And the colour, too. Except the pets that look like elves. Everything was wonderful until the lab ray, eh. --- And I know this is an extremely delayed reaction, but thank you for the compliments! I don't have any formal training yet, but this is a good spot to develop the hobby / experiment with scenes and such, so hopefully you'll be able to see some improvement!

Now that I have had my first dose of audible Christmas carols (since playing them in my head is grotesquely incomparable) for this year, I am compelled to do something I said in the first comic that I would never do...
...but hey, there's retcon.
CHRISTMAS SPECIAL (hopefully) incoming.

Renders have been finished. Just need to put in the dialogue.
I realized recently that I really hadn't put much thought into Izyl's character before putting him out there in the comic. Accordingly, the next one (after this weekend's) will feature a large ham marinated in nightmare fuel in the fridge logic, whilst avoiding any actual development of his character whatsoever.
Any pictures of the frames would be spoilers, but I had fun with it, other than a few glitches.

I felt like trying out the BC, so I finished the models for Hoshea's customization (with way too many technical issues) and submitted it for next week. For some reason, there was more UV-mapping involved, and Hoshea is by far the character on which I've done the most of it. I also did Coaster's dungeoneering outfit which covers two games that Twisted Coaster's doesn't. (EDIT: Actually, Twisted's original armor was designed by my old guild leader, who based it on an armor set from the game that Coaster's staff is from, and the shoulders are all I remembered from back then, so I based the rest off my imagination and part with some reference to another game.) Compared to Twisted Coaster's armor (post 2 above), Coaster's is substantially easier to recognize, though (since it's not so mix-and-matchy and has practically no original input whatsoever), so I'll probably do some modification later on to avoid copyright infringement and such. I would be somewhat impressed if someone actually knew what both were from, though I also started working on another original character, but I have no idea what kind of armor they'd wear. Furthermore, I can't decide whether they should have an improbably massive sword or a similarly sized hammer or axe.

Erm, you did mention Dungeoneering, so I'm assuming that one of the games is RuneScape.

Erm, you did mention Dungeoneering, so I'm assuming that one of the games is RuneScape. I didn't think that gerund was unique to that game >.> But... yeah. On a non-visual related note, I made a song for no apparent reason. Three of them, actually. Depending on how far this goes, I may make my own music thread in Creative Endeavors. For now, I'll either host some on a site other than Soundcloud, or wait to link until the people who have actually listened progress away from just my immediate area, because I posted one to Facebook and I really don't want every lurker on the Internet knowing exactly where I live and who my family is. Sorry, it's been moved. If you're interested, it's here. EDIT: I went with the middle option. ...although I can't seem to find out how to get it on a Neopets petpage, which was sorta the whole point. The bgsound src HTML code only seems to function on descriptions.

Woot. Resisting the urge to post spoilers, but I'm in a good mood for Blending at the moment despite having to study for my hardest exam tomorrow night, so I think I'll post a picture of the Altador Arena District (which you'll hopefully see the comic after that) as soon as I get it done. EDIT: I can't get the lighting quite right >_< But this is how it's started:
