Okay, time to give my review on the season finale. Huzzah! (Do not click show spoiler unless you watched the episode or you want it spoiled.) It was amazing, to say the least. One of the best season finales I've seen in a long time. Ooh, Dipper and Mabel fighting Bill, that was awesome (and that red and yellow version of Bill was absolutely scary). I straight up mentally called that Stan and Ford would do a switch-a-roo. And when Stan sacrificed his memory, I cried. I re-watched it not too long ago and I almost cried again. In my opinion, it was super satisfying, very feelsy, action packed, and the perfect amount of comedy - basically everything I love.
What I like best about it is how it ties a whole bunch of stuff together. Like that wheel, we found out who represents what (as if we didn't know who most of them were by now). There were all sorts of references to past episodes. And the grappling hook. Oh the grappling hook. |
