I watched the into to Baccano and the names were just killing me. Jacuzzi Splot?! Haha, Baccano's names were great. Death Note is another one, there were mostly relatively normal ones (Nate River) and then you get things like Mail Jeevas and Beyond Birthday. |

Man, that's what I get for only watching the Deathnote live action movies. I never made it to anything with Beyond Birthday in it, sounds like a hoot.
I love the actor who plays L in those, though. He also plays the lead in the live action Detroit Metal City, which couldn't be a more different character.

I think Beyond Birthday was actually only in one of the novels that was released. From what I understand he looks exactly like L but is a sociopath. Yeah.
Ooh, I'll have to check that out. I read a bit of the DMC manga and liked it a lot. I can't quite picture him playing Krauser.

The sad truth about the Chris Nolan Batman trilogy is that there are only three possible futures from this point in time:
A) More Batman movies will be made, and they will fail to live up to the Chris Nolan movies.
B) More Batman movies will be made, and they will make the Chris Nolan movies look bad in comparison.
C) No more Batman movies will ever be made, meaning the Chris Nolan movies killed the franchise.
I guess technically it's possible that Chris Nolan will make more Batman movies, but I'd qualify that as the most unlikely subset of either of the first two futures.
