I'm sorry, I keep thinking about this whole Strife/Leoness/Cookie thing, and wow. Just wow. I am in love with this community and all the love and support, and what came out of it: a wonderful relationship and a beautiful child.
The NTWF is a wondrous place. I float around some other online communities, sure, I even have real life friends whom I met from other online communities. Nowhere else compares to the NTWF. Other forums, and communities, and what have you, lack the support and joy that the NTWF has; some communities are fiercely divided, some are elitist, some don't accept new members. And that's just sad. Maybe I'm biased because I've been here for so long. Maybe the internet is usually elitist, and I've just had a great experience here. Or maybe I'm romanticizing the NTWF. On the last point, I don't think so.
Throughout my internet experiences, and my real life experiences, and, well, everything really, I knew I could come to the NTWF; when I see the familiar grey and blue (I haven't changed the skin since I joined, honest) color scheme, and instantly feel at home. Sure I don't post often, and rarely constructively. I float around here a lot. Some of you may only know me a little bit and I'm creepy or something. Never mind that-- what I'm trying to say is that the NTWF has been such a warm and welcoming place for me for years. Really though, for all its members, it seems.
And evidently, the NTWF has fostered enough love to make a family.
