Hello and welcome to my art thread. I think it's time I created one of these so that I can share my artwork and receive comments and constructive criticism on my work. I'm always seeking to improve my art so any feedback and advice is most welcome. For the threads debut, I have some art of Eevee and Zapphire, two of my Neopets. They've been best friends for several years and it is not uncommon to see them together like this. Anyway, thanks for viewing this thread.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I really like the uniform for the Defending Army in Karmageddon, and since Eevee generally wears blue clothing, I decided to see what he would look like in the DA uniform. He looks fierce; you wouldn't want to get smitten by him.

When he goes on an adventure, you can bet she isn't too far behind; since Eevee's gone and joined the Defending Army, I thought it would only be fair for Zapphire to join as well. Beware; she can smite you down to zero karma before you can say 'Ouch!' I kind of messed up with the foreshortening on this one, but I am overall pleased with how it turned out. Also, if you're wondering why there's so much empty space to the left; it's because I'm using this as my desktop wallpaper for my computer (along with Eevee of the DA )

Ooooh, lovely! X3 *claps* Really love the outfit. owo Aww, thank you Akane. I should give credit where it is due; the Defending Army's outfit was designed by Tamia. I just decided that my pets would look cute in it and drew those images.

It seems that a third pet has joined the Defending Army. My bori, Vitus, has donned the DA uniform and is ready to start exulting us to victory!! (FYI, Vitus is not typically a fighter; he's more of a healer ).

My poor art thread - it's been neglected for almost a year! I'd best fix this! So, as I stated in the Neopian Gloat/Cry thread a few minutes ago, my entry for the last random competition won third place. Unfortunately, third place winners are not featured on the site so I decided to share it here. Two and a half years ago, when it fell from the sky and crashed into the Neopian soil near the Haunted Woods, the residents of the once-flying world of Faerieland had to adjust to a whole new environment. No longer in the skies above, they experienced rain and snow and they found themselves in a world where the seasons changed from cold winters to cool springs to hot summers. On the land, they came across a new assortment of flora, much different from the plants and flowers they once grew in the clouds. While some residents of Faerieland detested this new location, many of them grew to love it. Among those who learned to enjoy their new, verdant home was Team Faerieland's Delma Harrence. She loved the various vegetation that grew on the land of Neopia and gardening soon became a hobby of hers. Here we see Delma enjoying her new hobby; in her off time from the Altador Cup, she likes to work on her many gardens in Faerieland. The faerie zafara has discovered that she loves to grow plants and flowers and she is quite glad that Faerieland has come down from the skies as she may not have discovered the joys of gardening if Faerieland was still in the clouds. While Team Faerieland may perform very poorly in the Altador Cup tournament, Delma is a wonderful gardener; the flowers she plants grow very well and help keep Faerieland beautiful.

Ugh, it's been a long time since I've drawn anything. I got to start drawing again. Here's a concept sketch of something I'm planning to do soon. Anyone care to guess what this would be?

Haven't updated this thread in awhile. Better revive it! So, I've recently gotten Pokemon Art Academy for the Nintendo 3DS and I've been learning quite a lot from it. I want to take the techniques I learned from the game and use them to do new things in Photoshop. Recently I've learned how to draw with brushes so I'm going to try and do something similar on my computer. I started by drawing this image and I plan on coloring and shading it using the brush tool on Photoshop.

Soo, I've been trying out the Creative Cloud version of Photoshop and I decided to try out some pixel art today. I made myself a new smiley this afternoon; care to guess who this character is? Hint: I mentioned him on the forum a few times before Big Hint: He was a theme for a previous Spirit Week!

It's been a LONG while since I made anything. I really should get back into art, given how I have a new Wacom tablet and Photoshop to use. I was inspired to draw this yesterday after getting a new Petpet for my zafara. It can still be considered a work-in-progress but I like what I've made so far. I wonder if I could get this into the Art Gallery with further work. Love Petpets:
