And I would still love to have you guys visit (although I would have to ask my apartment-mates if they were ok with hosting you as well. >__>) And you might have to refresh my memory, where are you again? North Carolina, out of the way of everyone, so I completely understand if you guys can't stop by. (You realize I'm your friend on Facebook and you could have looked this up. =P )

NC is a wee bit outta the way, yes. At least according to current plans, they tend to float a bit. Although hey, you're only 800ish miles away from Chicago, you could pop in? :3
In fact, what we'd like is to see if we can get some sort of a bigger meetuppy thing going in Chicago at the time (since it's been ages and ages since the forum last had a big one) and we probably won't hit the East Coast past Illinois so anyone who's in the NYC area could use the chance to check out the Windy City, assuming sufficient time and monies. Hrm. When's Spring Break for you americalanders again?

Yeah, I'm a bit way too out of the way. xD Like, thousands of miles away too out of the way.
However, I have considered going down to another state for Spring Break. The problem with meeting you guys for that is, I don't know where you guys will be during that time, and that's hard to control, so yeah. xD

… You guys coming anywhere near Texas? Iunno, do western bits of New Mexico count as near Texas? *has absolutely no sense of scale when it comes to the US* Yeah, I'm a bit way too out of the way. xD Like, thousands of miles away too out of the way. However, I have considered going down to another state for Spring Break. The problem with meeting you guys for that is, I don't know where you guys will be during that time, and that's hard to control, so yeah. xD Well, I have this fairly precise tripplan in the works. Once I'm done with it, I should be able to tell where we'll be on any given day of the trip. Not that we're likely to stick to that plan, it never works out that way, but at least there's the vague idea, giveortake a state. Late March for instance should be somewhere around Oregon/Washington/Montana. *still has no sense of scale*

Spring breaks are all over the place for us Americans, they vary school-by-school (and in highschooler's case, county-by-county). And I think my roommate will kill me if I abandon her plans for a traditional spring break, so spring breaks wouldn't help me anyway. XD I do have three-day weekends all next semester, maybe I can work something out with that.

So. By the looks of things, we'll be in Chicago on April 13-15, or possibly 6-8, that part is a bit wiggly.
Anyone have the time and money and willingness to pop in and hang out? Accommodation may or may not be an issue, that's still getting specified.

I decidedly will not be there. As previously discussed, travel to Chicago is difficult enough for me. But that weekend I may actually be in Nashville, TN visiting another friend who has been very insistent on a visit. And if I'm not there, the 13th is at least a religious holy day (end of Passover), so no chance all around.
So no chance at the meetup for me. If you won't be able to manage a passby of Springfield, no matter. Just let me know what to expect one way or the other. Accommodation is always open at my residence.

If you go to a skit resort at some point in NY on a Saturday, go to either Gore, Bellayre, or Mt. Snow. Just tell me which one and my ski club might be there.

I'm probably still free to hang out or something randomly. I guess it depends on if I still have a job or when I'm working XD

Accommodation is always open at my residence. You can expect a booze cabinet raid sometime from April 17th onward. And I don't generally break promises to booze cabinets. Infact, what's your stance on visiting St Louis around that time? Because I hear it's a city worth seeing and it's well on the way and a tourguide would come in handy and we can then drive you back to Springfield for the low bargain price of- *brick'd* fine, fine, for no money at all. And it's not the sort of offer I give every day :] Draco, we'll be in your hood around Febuary 24th if that helps. We won't be going eastward of Chicago, though, unless the plans get a major shake (which, admittedly, can happen, if you're at all familiar with the two of us and our travel history. Eheh.) And GLQ, that's a shame, you can be there in spirit hovering over us all the way?

Around that time works pretty well, since if I'm still working where I am (temp job, but looks like I may be hired on since 90% of the temps are gone) I work Sun-Wed. So the second half of the week is always free for me unless they slap me with over time, which I don't think they will.

Aw, Chicago sounds cool but I doubt I'd be able to get out there because of work/school/et al. I shall wave to you from my sad little mitten.
