OMG UMMM CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A THREAD FOR THUNDERCATS PLEASE? It's already quite into its second season, and dude, I LOVE this show. I love the plot and the characters and the designs, and just EVERYTHING. I like it a lot better than the 80s versions, because well, it was a lot more random, it didn't really follow on overall plot (besides keeping Mumm-Ra at bay, I guess, but still...) The story is what I like, and I really like the style of the show as well. People need to realize this IS NOT the same Thundercats they might have grown up with, it's a reboot. I even like how they told how they all arrived to Third Earth. People get mad about that, which I understand, but even me (and I'm a 90s kid for pete's sake). anyways, what do you like about it, who is your favorite character, so on and so forth. |

My favorite Thundercat? Probably Panthro.
I remember sometimes seeing the old series on Cartoon network in the early morning back in the '90's. It was really, really... Boring. I mean, it was less ridiculous than He-Man, but it's not even half as good as the new series.
That said, I really loathe Tygra.

Yeah, Tygra can be so snooty and such a jerk sometimes. Ergh. BUT HIS BACKSTORY WAS SO SAD!! His whole clan cursed, then when it got lifted they all died...when he was sent away for his own safety, the Thundera queen (she was so pretty) had to go an die in childbirth :'C So saaaaddd....
ALSO, EEEE THEY FOUND MORE THUNDERCATS. Just watched The Pit, trying to catch up on episodes..squee XD |

I've been watching it since the start since I was a fan of the original. It took me a few episodes to get used to stuff, but I like it XD
Tygra has always been my favorite, still is. The Twins are fun too though.

At the moment, the series is on hiatus. Knowing Cartoon Network, and their tendency to off amazing series (Sym-Bionic Titan, coughcough), people are understandably worried.
I really hope the series makes a return.

They're different, especially the twins, but I like the way they changed them and the story. Both stand apart really well, but also have little nods to the older version. However, I still dislike the Snarf pokemon >.>
