I am going to go ahead and nix Strawberry Kacheek in the bud (no pun int...okay yeah, fine, it was intended,) because EVERYONE LOVES Komori's random-blue-kacheek and we don't want to confuse readers into thinking he got some kind of PAINT JOB.
/selfish love for blue kacheek.
I am definitely pro Skunk Usul/Strawb Tusk. Fish? What say ye?

*pops back in thread* Oh, yeah, another background Kacheek character would look like Komori's blue kacheek background character. I went and did some quick scribbles just then. Was a little nervous because I essentially haven't drawn anything since this year, but it seemed an okay kind of start. My attempt of the Skunk Usul didn't come out the way I wanted it to. And we can ignore the Kacheek for those reasons above. I think I might like the Tusky. But I'm open to whatever character design anyone else wants to try out as well. This was a quickie. =) |

Aaah! Sorry I dropped out a bit. I agree that we should definitely design a charrie over using a NPC. Especially because, the way I'm brainstormin', I don't even know if I'll design a villain this year. Speaking of which, Pac, I love how you made the Tuskie's stem a hair tuft! I'm all for that. Or, uh, you know, a fruit chia.  |

Ach! Guys, we are totally letting this die haha. Anyway! Komori, I love the Batman idea. That video...the camp... it's so... Team Squad Force. As for me, here's my (rough) script. Some things are subject to a lot of change:
PANEL 1
BANANA BRUISER is holding a BOX OF PIZZA. But on that pizza... is a NOTE. LT. AWESOME!!! is displeased.
NARRATOR: Last time on Team Squad Force...Our heroes find themselves with a slice...of mystery!
Lt. A: Oh, c'mon. I wanted pepperoni.
PANEL 2
ZOOM IN on the note. It reads " Help us, Team Squad Force!! You must destroy the fruit stand! You're our only hope! Love, Mayor."
PANEL 3
Banana Bruiser: Well, that seems simple enough.
Blindside Boy: Too simple. There's got to be more to this extra-cheesy note.
PANEL 4
Petite Pulverizer: What if... And hear me out... the fruit stand is a diabolical trap set by the...uh...by the Calamitous Candyman! Who wants to blow up all the fruit in the world, but making it seem like he doesn't!!
Lt. A: Like that reverse psycho-ology stuff?
P.P.: I guess.
PANEL 5
B. Boy: Oh! So he's going to lure us to the trap, and his evil Dark Chocolate Henchmen will appear! And we'll take them down one by one! Pow pow pow!
PANEL 6
Banana Bruiser: Oooh! But but but it'll be too late! Because... because he's already planted explosive bon-bon-bombs all over Neopia Central! So we have to target... every building ever!!!
PANEL 7
Everyone is really worked up and excited.
Lt. Awesome: Then we know what we must do!! TEAM SQUAD FORCE, GO!!!!
PANEL 8:
Narrator: Pretty soon...
Team Squad Force is being arrested by the police. All of Neopia Central is burning behind them. The only thing standing is the fruit stand. The Mayor stands in the foreground.
Mayor: I really didn't think you guys were capable of over thinking things...

Just posting to say I haven't forgotten this, but I've just had an important task to do by this Wednesday, but I'm aiming to get my TSF script written soon so I can start drawing after Wednesday. I have an idea, I'm just not quite sure it's funny enough yet though. (So far, it involves bulls chasing after the cape-wearing superheroes.) Komori's giant bomb idea sounds really cool and hilarious =D Yay, Fish has a rough script. I like what happens in the end, but I'm not sure what the significance of the pizza slice is, as a carrier of a message, but it makes me hungry. But the outcome Ahaha... talk about TSF failing an assignment... |

Fish, you never cease to make me crack up.
I thought the 'fruit stand' thing was going to be a little less obvious though? Such as: normal TSF plot (if there is such a thing,) insert image of same fruitstand here, conclusion, the end?
If the fruitstand is the intentional target of TSF, then, well I guess obviously he's doing something wrong. But if he's just an innocent bystander/casualty in each of our comics, that's just incredibly unfortunate.

I imagine the fruitstand can play as big or as little a part in the comic. Whatever inspires you, yanno? I wasn't planning on making it my central focus, but it does play a decent-sized role in the punchline. :3
And Fish, that is an epic script. That team's fantastic at working each other into a frenzy. XD

Okay, gotcha! XD I was confused as to how the fruit stand was actually supposed to come into play anyway. Time to brainstorm... and by brainstorm I mean UH IMPROVISE RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW. LAST TIME ON TEAM SQUAD FORCE...

Narrator: Our heroes were last seen captured by THE BUBBLE GUM PRINCESS. How will they escape?
(All four members are bubble-gumed together, THE BUBBLE GUM PRINCESS laughing diabolically in the foreground.)
Panel 2
P.P.: WAIT! I think I've seen this episode before!!
B.Boy: You... wait, what?
B.Bruiser: You're RIGHT Petite Pulverizer! WE MUST UNSTUCK OURSELVES. QUICKLY--
Panel 2.b (bubble)
Lt.Awesome: TEAM SQUAD FORCE!!!
ANTI-ASSEMBLE!!!!

(Everyone thrashes around)

(Everyone stretches the gum in a different direction, running as fast and as far as they possibly can to get unstuck. Just a picture of the gum stretching in four directions and PRINCESS BUBBLE GUM looking rather perturbed.)

Fruitstand Tusk: Why, yes, I believe I-

(Emsohl removes a melon from the bottom of the pile. Fruitstand spills over/partially collapses.)

Yay, your script is hilarious Abra! OK, I finally got a script written down for my comic.  I also found out that the petpet which looks the most like a bull is a Blurgah.  #1:
Narration: Last time on Team Squad Force... our heroes were routed by the Terrible Toreador!
Toreador: Muhahaha! Charge, my minions! You heroes in your capes will not get away!
Mad: But I thought it was just red they’d charge at...
Toreador: Negative! For these Blurgahs are COLOURBLIND! MUHAHAHAHA
Narration: What hope has Team Squad Force? Will they be proven cow-ards?
#2:
Joey: You may take my life, but you will never take my cape!
Mad: CAPE PRIDE
Emsohl: Um, Bannana Bruiser... why are YOU running? You don’t have a cape at all!
Tombstones: All the cool people are running away from Blurgahs! If everyone does it, I wanna be in it too!
#3: (The Blurgahs demolish a fruitstand, sending fruit flying everywhere)
Emsohl: Now see here, Banana Bruiser! If all the cool people jumped off a bridge, would you?
#4: Joey: Wait a minute! If all the cool people jumped off a bridge...
Tombstones: And everyone does it...

Joey: Are you thinking what I’m thinking?
Mad: Group diving lesson?
Emsohl: I don’t like where this is going...

Joey: Everyone, if we jump off a bridge together, all the Blurgahs will have to fall too because all the cool people are doing it! Then... they’ll be defeated!
Emsohl: Nope, definitely don’t like this...
Tombstones: Too late! We’re all in!

(TSF jumps off a bridge, dragging Emsohl with them)
TSF: GERANIMOOOOOOO
Emsohl: AHHHHHHHHHH *flail*

(The Blurgahs stop at the edge of the bridge looking confused)

Tombstones: Awwww. I was so sure it’d work, too.
Mad: Well, what can you do.
Joey: It was worth a shot.

Narration: The moral of the story is, peer pressure is good... provided you’re in a herd of Blurgahs... basically, don’t jump off bridges, and um... you’ll do fine.
-Wait, what? You’re firing me? I’d like to see YOU do a better job at narration for these oafs!

Done!! Bit of a rush job, but it's all there. And jpeg compression is a bit gross looking, but then again I wasn't really paying attention to the colour count or anything like that. Oops I think I'll PM you guys. Yeah. I don't know what the icon should be this year, so I won't submit this yet. But since all the artwork is done I can just submit it whenever, from any computer. |
