She's forced by something similar to "intergalactic law" to take the form of different things every now and then. Rewrite their history. She's got no control over when or where it happens, but whenever they force a new form upon her I become something of that form as well. I'm also moved anywhere near her general location. ...Which can sometimes be as general as the same universe.
