Oooh, I see. Yeah, magic Zero. A metal bar pulled off of whatever it was he pulled it off of.... is still just a metal bar. So someone should be able to block a plasma sword with their arm if they're desperate. Wait, I thought all Reploids were made out of Titanium X. Technically the Digitals are supposed to be alone in Soulstice But Flash and Quick uncovered that that's not quite the case. In Soulstice abilities and weapons don't work, thanks to the power of Aspire, the Grand Master of Soulstice. She's in charge of everything there and only answers to the leaders of Rinam, the Progenitors. Well, and the queen. Hoyle and Blachka (and others) have created another digital universe that is outside of Aspire's power because they wanted games with action and powers. They've gotten a lot of criticism for it. The Game Masters, as the group they are part of is called, are credited with the creation of Apps. They look like Digitals, but they lack powers/abilities, personality, and a mind of their own. Each App is a small representational part of the Greater App. Like a mechanical mind with many bodies. They get a lot of criticism for this too, since many feel it's like creating a less intelligent robot and enslaving it. Another concern is that the system they run is too similar to the Beta's old hive mind. They don't care because they need the Apps to fulfill certain roles in their games. To be realistic NPs. Digimon probably could. Just to avoid things being messy, this is pre-MoDEoN Taisean. Warn her about the coming doom known as MoDEoN and I will almost certainly erase the memory. Taisean: Hello? Yeaaaah. I think the cutscene hardly makes sense because of the metal pipe XD I mean, really, what a wussy saber Sigma has. CONSIDER AN UPGRADE, BOY. I thought so too, but then everyone's all about ceratanium and Titanium X is never mentioned again. Hm, I see. So a lot of people would technically be powerless when inside the area under Aspire's influence, but not on the 'alternate' created by these other two so they could have shiz and giggles? What are Apps exactly used for in their 'games'? Are they sort of like storage units with lesser robot minds, which can be used for higher purposes without thought or complaint? I guess that's why they get critisism, if that's the case, but idonno. Maybe we should take this to PMs, it be interesting, arrr, but I guess we're clogging things. Oh ok =u=;  ...Hello? |

Ooooh fabulous. My lights just went out and we use a type of light bulb that isn't made anymore. We can't use the newer kind without first rewiring the house, which we don't have the money for. I guess this is a little bit what it would feel like to be an outmoded robot. Yeah, we actually bought some older (though I'm guessing not as old as yours) light bulbs before they could be made illegal.  Something up?  |

That, or since they'd seem to die on us sooner, we figured the cost of buying bulbs (and/or of companies making new bulbs to replace the old ones) wasn't worth it. We just tend to have our lights off a lot of the time and like to have it fairly bright when we need them. XD On the picture: Ah, we artists all mess up at times. I can't even seem to draw perspective much except on cubes and other things with flat edges and 90-degree corners.  Maybe I'll look at a tutorial tomorrow... Do you know what perspective for more-rounded objects and such is called? I'm wondering if it might be '3-point' (which I'm thinking of looking up either way).  |

Well, when there's no benefit, I suppose it's alright to keep it the same (I mean, it might end up costing you more to remodel stuff to fit new bulbs, I guess) I was too unfocused when I did the background to remember. That and I didn't sketch it out along with the foreground. As for perspective, all of them, 1, 2 and 3 point, work the same for everything. It depends on how you want it viewed. It depends on the focal point, what your general look is (the one you want) and so forth. For example, for that particular piece, I actually used a 1-point perspective from an non-viewable focal point ( it's below at Harpuia's feet ), which would be where the viewer would be looking if the 'camera' was looking a bit more downward and to the left. Circular objects can be tricky, but it's best to use perspective and depth by using various guidelines as well as shading. Shading and lighting are what helps define shape in general, which defines depth, which is also defined by perspective and light position. It's a lot to consider uvu I think I'll go ahead and fix the background now. But I won't stream it, I guess (I actually streamed when I did that piece, but I only put the link on Harpuia's RP account on tumblr, hahaha- I don't like posting links so people can watch me draw everywhere, I get nervous ) Further queries about art should be taken to PM, though, I don't know if people would appreciate seeing technicalities of stuff on the ic board :/ |
