GUYS I'M GOING ON VACATION SOON AND I NEED BOOK SUGGESTIONS WAR AND PEACE. Ender's Game? Persepolis? Something from the Dragonriders of Pern series? (I started with Dragonsong.) I don't know what you've read, though, or what you have in mind. I second the Dragonriders of Pern nomination. You still did not answer my question as to why you felt the need to bring it up. I didn't ask you to tell me what it was... I merely explained as to what type of cyberelves existed from whence I came. Animal elves, nurse elves, hacker elves, and the ones created from despair. Well, other than the Mother elf and the two baby elves, but who knows where those ended up... In any case, as I have told you before, and I'll say it again, unless your being is made entirely of negativity like sorrow, loss, despair, insanity or hatred, then you have little to worry about. While you state that it may happen because I worry, I do not. And I am telling you not to worry yourselves. None of you here is capable of summoning Model W into this world out of spite, at least, none of you who aren't Writers. This is why the 'self-fulfilling prophecy' has no place in the conversation, as none of us can bring it here out of paranoia and distrust, yes? If Model W is brought here by some means, then I will be sure to destroy it. All one has to do to face it... is clear their mind of all negativity, at least for the fight, and without a Chosen One to use it, Model W is nothing but a hunk of metal. So long as you hold no negativity, at least. This talk of self-fulfilling prophecy makes me think of Serif... and how some cyberelves asked if they could come to live in Rinam, but Serif said no because she was afraid of the chaos the elves had caused just a few months before. She was afraid the elves would cause a lot of damage and hurt people if she said yes.

You may want to express that feeling to Rinamians you meet. They're under the impression that around NTWFers they shouldn't speak unless spoken to, much less talk about themselves without having been asked. The choice is up to her to make. Eh *shrugs* You're not the first. I see. Much different than what I am used to. It would be hard to tell if it's information they'd find themselves unwilling to say. And that is, indeed, true. It is why I wish to... meet this Silver in person first. It's not like I want to. I merely forget the buttons are there e-e

I thought you said perception was belief. It's a type of argument called 'argument by relation'. If A is B1, and B2 is C, then A is C. It's not always correct, you see. But if you do not mean it that way, then I find your statement understandable. Perception helps belief, but it is not belief. ... There's seeing things that may be missed, and then there's seeing things that aren't actually there. All one has to do to face it... is clear their mind of all negativity, at least for the fight, and without a Chosen One to use it, Model W is nothing but a hunk of metal. So long as you hold no negativity, at least. ... Although if it does come, we better hope no one else finds it first and falls to its whims, becoming its puppet. ?! I explained what it is because you asked why I brought it up!If it comes, it will likely trigger a self-fulfilling prophecy. I know clearing your mind of negativity is possible, but for most people, it's not easy.We can try to keep our own worries away, but many people live in this city, and even in this world. If they see it, they'll probably either be afraid of it, or get angry because it's hurting people. If they know that it feeds on negativity they become afraid of their own fear. They trigger an emotional downward-spiral that keeps on snowballing. The worse it becomes, the more the thing is drawn to them. Unless we can figure out a way to keep it from detecting them - like if it has a limited range - they will probably be their own downfall. They would be worried that it would destroy them. Because they are worried, they will likely be destroyed. We can not worry about ourselves...Worrying about others adds another matter, as does others worrying. ...Ah. The job was executed to perfection. *takes the e-crystals, offering them to Marino* A pleasure to do business with an efficient reploid such as yourself. Does your name happen to be 'Marino'? Maybe. Maybe not. Mmm... *writes* Thanks. Are there any visible terminals around her, or just the monitors? Not visible. Just a bunch of screens. Invisible? :U This talk of self-fulfilling prophecy makes me think of Serif... and how some cyberelves asked if they could come to live in Rinam, but Serif said no because she was afraid of the chaos the elves had caused just a few months before. She was afraid the elves would cause a lot of damage and hurt people if she said yes. I don't remember this. Anyway, gotta head to class. See ya!

Anyway, here's your chance to meet Silver. *walks into the square* So this is Aeolus? I know, I know XD Invisible? :U This talk of self-fulfilling prophecy makes me think of Serif... and how some cyberelves asked if they could come to live in Rinam, but Serif said no because she was afraid of the chaos the elves had caused just a few months before. She was afraid the elves would cause a lot of damage and hurt people if she said yes. I don't remember this. Anyway, gotta head to class. See ya! No. Remote, like I said. For further information, you'd have to inquire via rp Ayup. Took place before MoDEoN after the cyberelf riots. If it weren't for the riots, she would have said yes. Even without the riots Calli would refuse. If they had asked Glyph or Swash they would have been told they could come (although Swash would have invited them to somewhere else).

... There's seeing things that may be missed, and then there's seeing things that aren't actually there. It doesn't meant that perception is belief. The fact that you see something that is not there means you are over-analyzing. I asked you why you brought it up, not what it was. *sighs* As for that... *smirks, his tone darkening* At least you understand why Model W was so dangerous... and so sucessful at what it did. However, if no one knows what it can do, and what feeds it, then it is powerless unless it encounters someone consumed by negativity. It could either feed on them, or use them as their vessel. Model W may select chosen ones, but while they may think they have control over themselves, Model W will only aid if it serves its purposes, sometimes twisting the user's mind to attain what it wants. Now, as I said before, this Biometal will absorb your negative feelings. You are most vulnerable to Model W in a fit of rage, revenge, sorrow, or fear. Apparently, though, strength of heart can allow you to... stand up again even after Model W attempts to consume you. Er... two people have done it before... but I do not know the particulars, as I was never really... their ally or friend. However, if both of them survived the attempt, even when Model W absorbed all their anger and contempt, it means that perhaps allowing positivity to drive you may be a way to fight it effectively if it is awakened. Model W is able to absorb negativity even in a dormant state, but one would have to be really close to it. I estimate a one to five mile radius, depending on its size. In any case... let us stop talking about that menace. It brings up unwanted memories. Maybe. Maybe not. Thank you for your time, regardless. *bows* Pft, poor Tonka XD ... they'd probably tell you if they didn't want to talk about it. Anyway, here's your chance to meet Silver. *walks into the square* So this is Aeolus? I know, I know XD I feel so sorry for my poor dog XD I see- er.. *turns to face Silver* ... ... That's me. ;U; me sowwy

Maybe we should train some Elves with projection abilities in case something like that ever happens... Thank you for your time, regardless. *bows* *gives a bow of her own* My pleasure. No. Remote, like I said. For further information, you'd have to inquire via rp I thought it was Grind who was accessing remotely.

Pleased to meet you. *holds out a hand* don't be so sorry, it's an easy thing to forget Ah, I see. Poor Tribble xD We defluffed Tonka Beatrice because of fleas. Flea season started, they're easier to spot if she has short fur, and we also gave her flea treatment. ... *hesitantly reaches over to take it* A... pleasure. XD; I guess. Oh boy... Even her expressions support the 'poor' situation. Haha. Actually, when I took the picture, she was rubbing her rump on the wall xD ... *the Sea Elf seems to be trying not to laugh* ... *Aeolus appears to be trying his best to not just turn around and leave* We never said the two were mutually exclusive. Hmm... Maybe we should train some Elves with projection abilities in case something like that ever happens... ... Aha. *shrugs, then sighs* Perhaps, but although I am a firm believer in full preparation, I do believe Model W won't find its way here for a while. Hopefully never. *gives a bow of her own* My pleasure. *pockets his wallet, nods, and walks off*

.... I was talking about Grind. Who were you talking about? Synchro. :U There was a news report titled (or whatever the proper term is) 'Search for missing hunter.' *snrrrk* Oooooh. Then, to your original question (about there being terminals around)- Yes. Pft. My cat, Tribble, needs the same sort of treatment ^^; She has super long fur and she doesn't like being brushed, and during the winter some of it got matted. I'm Silver Solder. Makes sense. I put anti-flea powder into all the areas the cats and dogs sleep. Her hand was cold and hard, and it seemed to glitter a little. She was also strangely slightly see-though and glassy.: I'm of the understanding that you need somewhere to stay for awhile, and I'm happy to offer my guest room to you.
